Absolutely love this place. Best Sushi around. My wife loves the Thai food here. I'd give it 5 stars, but they are a little over priced.

Thai Thai I - Thai Near Me - Melbourne, Florida

Because of the rave reviews about the food we went to Thai Thai last night. We ordered wine, and about a half hour later ordered soup. Very soon after we ordered food which took us 2 hours to receive (no exaggeration). Our original waiter was very attentive, checked on us continually and brought our soup and wine on a timely basis. He then totally disappeared from sight which is where the problems began. Whenever we would question the waitresses (who mysteriously were now our servers) we were told they are very busy as a table of 9 had come in and slowed the kitchen down, Busy? For the most part the restaurant was empty - a few people at the sushi bar and maybe 5 other tables of people including us and the table of 9. We would sit and watch all other diners who had come in way after us get their food. Finally, after bitching enough we got our food which came out steaming hot. After we were done eating our original waiter magically re-appeared and told us that they reason our food took so long was because the waitresses kept telling him that he could not bring us the food and that they would do so as he was not really a server. WTF??? So, while there was a power struggle going on -(amongst the Taiwanese wait staff and the lone American waiter), our dinner sat for 2 hours getting ice cold and obviously nuked before it actually reached our table. All we received were back handed apologies and the Manager refused to do anything - did not even offer to "comp" us a glass of wine until we demanded that they take 2 of the 4 glasses off of our check. When we asked to speak to the owner we were told he is unreachable as he is in Thailand. Seriously?? And again we were told by the Manager that our original waiter is not a server and not allowed to wait on tables. So the question was -then why was he waiting on us for the 1st hour we were there? This morning I woke up sick because this staff thought it was ok to leave our food containing seafood out for the length of time they did, My advice - if you are from up North or anywhere where good service is and should be the norm STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Maybe the service is different in their other locations but not here. The only reason I gave Thai Thai even one star was because the food was great. Too bad the horrendous service and attitudes overshadowed it. read more

I am extremely disappointed. This has been my favorite restaurant for YEARS and I am outraged at the lack of service this establishment has acquired. Since February (it is now December) my husband have been here at least 8 times. 8 Out 8 times we have had HORRIBLE service. The food is excellent IF you ever get it. We have waited patiently for 15 minutes one time just to get a drink order. The last time we were in, my husband got irritated and wanted to leave but I begged to stay because they have amazing food. I asked to speak to a manager and the server tells me there IS NO manager on duty. No kidding?! With service that bad, theres no question in my mind that you have no manager on duty. That server then went and got another server and she tells me that they are unavailable. So WHO is running this place?! We took 2 months off.. going to other places and waiting for service to get itself together. Tonight was my final straw. We walked in and they just stare. Finally they seat us. And we waited. My husband had enough time to go to the bathroom, wash his hands, step outside to make a work phone call, and have a decent conversation before asking "Did anyone come for our drink order yet?" No. No one ever did. I got up and calmly went to the server standing at the sushi bar and asked if we were ever going to get service at our table or if it would be easier to sit at the sushi bar. She tells me "ohhhh. Its going to be a LONG while." I have completely lost ALL interest in this restaurant and I do NOT recommend this place. Food is good, service absolutely SUCKS. I am extremely patient with restaurants because I've been in their position I know its not easy. But get it together! EiGHT times we've been here and walked out disappointed. Definitely not the best one of the multiple "Thai Thai" restaurants. They've got my takeout order wrong 3 times now. And for some reason I keep ordering the same thing, but it's being prepared completely different ways. Ex. The winter roll (a fresh wrapped spring roll, has come once with tofu, the next time with shrimp?!? It's just aggravating bc that's not something I can sit there and check at the restaurant.. We went to thai thai based on the reviews here, unfortunately thai thai either had an off day or they just plain sucked. Let's first start with the food: they have a good selection of sushi rolls and thai dishes. However, the sushi rolls' quality is mediocre at best. The rice was hard and stale and my last bite of the spicy tuna was spoiled (I had to spit it out). The service was nearly non-existent. We waited and waited for our food to come out, and the waitress knew we were waiting, but she avoided eye contact and didn't even have the courtesy of letting us know that the food will be a few minutes late. She has a personality of a pear. I don't really don't understand the hype of this place. read more

I love this place. It is my family's first choice for special occasions. The staff is extremely friendly, and they know us by name. We feel like family when we go there. I have never had a bad meal there. The Thai Thai roll is my favorite, and the spicy tuna salad on rice is a great appetizer for one person. Their deserts are to die for, especially the fried ice cream. We travel very often and always visit sushi restaurants where ever we go and nothing compares to Thai Thai. I recommend this place over every restaurant I have ever been to. read more

Went on a Sunday evening for dinner and put our order in with in 10 mins. Over 45 mins later we still had not received our food, when we asked we were told it would just a few mins it still took another 20 mins for it to arrive. Good food, terrible service. Try the one beach side, much better. read more

Always fast, clean, friendly and delicious. Solid sushi and sashimi - Favorite dishes are Volcano chicken and the Green Curry! Great for a casual date night or dinner/lunch with the kids (awesome kid meal selection + fish tanks). Take-out is always extremely fast and they also separate your veggies from the sauce so your meal is not soggy. read more

I've been eating at this location for over 10 years. This I my favourite sushi restaurant in Brevard county very fresh fish and great service the main sushi chef has been the same for as long as I have known. My personal favourite dish is a spicy tuna salad with rice simple but delicious another favorite is sushi bomb. If you don't like the sushi route try their Thai Thai chicken great flavors back in the day they used to light it on fire at your table they dont do that anymore sadly. If you having been try it out be careful though they close for a few hours during the day to prep and refresh their food! read more

The food was very good but the service was missing in non action. Nobody was busing the tables therefore I counted six dirty tables.

The food is okay. Curry taste a little water down. Service a little rushed and some lady yells to get people in like we are cattle. The service needs to be more attentive and they need to be more friendly. This place is pretty expensive so be nicer. After getting food Noone came to check up on us. I ordered the red curry, which was good, but WAY too spicy. I am a frequent eater of thai food and especially red curry, so I thought I knew what to expect. It dawned on me after a couple bites that the server had not asked me how spicy I wanted it, so I must have gotten full on "Thai hot". I was able to finish my meal with the help of five glasses of water. I'd like to give it another go, as the ingredients seemed good quality and the staff seemed very nice. Thai Thai has been around forever, decent sushi, not the best quality in Melbourne but for the price it will fix your sushi craving. Pad thai isn't bad, but can be a little pricey at dinner time. Usually busy, so get there early. read more

I have ordered takeout for lunch from Thai Thai, once a week for the last 4 years. The sushi is always fresh, always very well made, and the girls are always very sweet. I always rely on Yelp to help me find great places like this when I'm on the road. Really nice people and really good sushi. Came here about a month or so ago to have lunch. I had ordered the Pad Thai. I received the Miso soup and it was so thick and curdled looking. I didn't even try it because the looks alone of it grossed me out. Anytime I've had Miso soup, it's been a broth style. After that my Pad Thai came out. It was pretty gross as well. The only reason I continued to eat it was because I was starving and needed to get something in my belly. The after taste of the Pad Thai was a burnt lingering taste. It took me an hour of chewing minty gum afterwards to get the taste out of my mouth. If you enjoy Thai Thai's, the Cape Canaveral location is MUCH better!! read more

I have been here for excellent Thai cuisine many times. Have never been disappointed. I have never been a sushi fan, but would occasionally eat some of my wifes if we happened to go with other couples. Recently I have started ordering my own sushi and have even suggested that we do sushi on occasion. Thai Thai has converted me! Excellent, friendly staff, tasteful contempory decor, and fresh well seasoned food whether it is sushi, tempura, or Thai curry. Favorite entree is Chicken Massaman Curry. Favorite sushi, so far, Boston roll. Looking forward to more adventures at Thai Thai. read more

Love this place!! Even when I moved away it was on my stop by list first thing each visit. Very friendly staff and excellent sushi!

Went in last night about 7 pm for my partners birthday and the food was amazing once we finally got it! The service was the worst I've had and honestly can't remember service anywhere as poor as this. They were not overly busy and we were sat right away. We had to get the host to even get drinks and then asked who appeared to be a busboy to see if we even had a server. Then several minutes later she appears so we ordered everything right away tuna salad, volcano chicken, haha roll, and dragon rolls and she disappeared again needing refills and another beer. It's a shame as I said the food was outstanding but $81 and couldn't even get a second beer. SERVICE SUCKED!!! read more
