We were met by Ricky, the Manager, and a very friendly and accommodating person with many interesting stories to tell about the Inn. The highlight of the room was the large Victorian tub. We were to learn that someone quite famous recently stayed in our room. The Inn is just a few minutes' walk from the beautiful Civic Center Park and the historic Hanford Fox Theater, one of the few remaining theaters built in the 20s, which is fully restored to its 1929 elegance. The Park also has many restaurants, cafes and shops. Hanford was declared one of the 12 "Hidden Gems" in America Better Homes and Garden magazine and Architecture Magazine. The Irwin Street Inn location is perfect for exploring Hanford. Whether it is for planning a business convention, planning a Wedding, or just for a weekend getaway, The Irwin Street Inn is the perfect place. If you are planning on exploring the Sequoia National Park, the Inn is less than an hour's drive to the Park.
