Disappointed that they changed the type of chicken they use in their Chinese chicken salad. They now use breaded crispy chicken instead of shredded chicken. Have been ordering from this restaurant for years. Food is pretty good it was better before and service was great. Sad to say now they do not cater to the customer anymore. They close at 8:30 I called at 8:15pm and they say they are closed. Really? I guess customers aren't a priority. A good business should close when there advertised hours are listed to close at. This was for years my favorite Chinese food in the valley but since the new owners took over it's not the same. The portions are smaller and the food tastes different, especially the fried rice. Even after I moved away I would make it a point to eat here when I visited my family. Sometimes I would even make a three hour drive to satisfy my craving for Chinese food. I ordered Fried Pepper Shrimp with Chow Mien. They did not ask if i wanted my shrimp shelled or if I wanted plain noodles. I took a bite and was surprised that the shrimp had shells & the noodles were dry with no chow mien. I called & the owner refused to correct my order. I am very disappointed. When it comes to Chinese food, it is SO tough to find a place that satisfies every craving, but I can honestly say that this place checks every single box of what I want when I'm looking to order take out. It will always be my first choice here in the Reedley/Dinuba area. I would probably have to say I'm a little disappointed as of late because every time I try and call in it either says their line is busy or that they're not open, but that doesn't make their food any less fantastic. Extremely good customer service. Servers are nice, and try to make the experience enjoyable. The prices are a little bit higher, but portions are bigger than in other places in Dinuba. The worst curry beef chow mien I EVER had. There was absolutly no curry sauce. There was more soy sauce in those little packets they give you than curry sauce in the food!! 30 plus years eating here, they lost a good customer. read more

Was in town and disappointed to find food no longer what it used to be. Dry (pork), salty (chow mein) and bland (fried rice)...which goes perfectly with the trashy customer service provided by a short and stout hispanic waitress, her name not worth a mention. She clearly did not want to be there by her rude, disrespectful and dismissive behavior. Be upfront about extra fees with exact amount when taking an order with a minor substitution. Otherwise, your business looks like it's 'nickeling and diming' its customers and ends up looking like a cheap and desperate move. Yet this place deserves a better waitress than the one they have. She stinks. Overall , a regretful experience. My guess is that this place is with new owners or management and its glory days are long gone. read more

After moving to a much bigger city I still haven't found a Chinese food restaurant as good as Dragon Garden. I love the sweet and sour pork.

The service is great, the food comes out quickly and they give you a lot. One dinner plate could easily feed two people. I always go home with leftovers. The prices are cheap compared to other restaurants in the area. The waiters are very friendly and they never get my order wrong. The Wor Won Ton soup is amazing!! They even serve it to you in small bowls when they bring it out to the table. I love the Oolong Tea and you can buy a bag of it up front. The also have a banquet room for large gatherings. The only con is that it's quite old and should be re-modeled but no biggie. Forget Panda Express, it's too expensive and you end up spending twice as much money for one meal. If you want a bang for your buck go to Dragon Garden. read more

We read the reviews before eating here. My husband had the pork lo mein. It was just ok. I had the pork spare ribs. UGH.....The ribs were barely cooked. Not many pieces of them on the the plate. I think it was probably 2 ribs altogether . The pork fried rice lacked flavor. The lo mein was the worst. Couldn't even eat it. Hardly cooked. WOULD NOT eat here ever again. I wonder if the person making these dinners ever taste their food? The young man taking the order was very pleasant and pretty much the only I gave it 1 star. read more
