We ordered thru DoorDash and was really pleased. I order the Pud Thai and Chicken Satay. Very flavorful. Would eat here again.

First time dining in since the refresh. Feels light and airy inside and the exterior looks nice as well. There's more booth seating now and even new silverware. The new menu is labeled for GF and fish sauce. Service was friendly and accommodating. I had the Thom Kha soup with tofu and fresh spring rolls with tofu instead of shrimp. Everything was fresh and delicious! read more

We used to love this place. We ate there last night. It was the first time since new management took over. We were pretty disappointed. Luke warm food, small portions and high prices. The price would have been ok if the food had been better. I don't think we will be back. read more

Best pad Thai in the area!! Shrimp is also on point not overcooked. Flavor is great! We have called in and done picked up 3 times. Always same quality. I read the reviews about not having enough service/ taking too long for dine in. Probably would not dine in here. Maybe in the spring when we can sit outside. read more

This is the first Thai restaurant that I have ordered at in years that I can honestly give a five star rating too! I ordered chicken pad Thai with no onions and no bean sprouts. The only thing they messed up on was that they did put onions in it so I just picked them out and didn't say anything. The pad Thai actually tasted like real pad Thai! Most places I go to now, their pad Thai tastes like dish water for some reason. I'm not sure what it is I'm tasting, but I seem to taste the same thing no matter where I order it. read more

Thai Thai Cafe - Chicken Pad Thai (next day leftovers) - Thai Near Me - Mooresville, North Carolina

First time here today for lunch and it was steady slowish, but eventually started picking up. It seems like a family owned placed, about two waitress/waiter and 3 cooks. I was greeted and seated, took my order. The thing I like is they give you egg rolls and soup, free before your meal which I think should be standardized. Every lunch meal should come with a veggie egg roll. They did forgot my water and I had to asked for it but they bought it out quickly. Everything on the menu is cheap and fairly a good portion for lunch so that's a plus. I got full off of My lunch dish and the egg rolls. The service was good although they did neglected by checking up on me as there was only one full time waitress. The food came out fast and it was good. The ambiance is quant, like a fast food place. They do have their own parking so you won't have trouble with that. I like everything about this place. I would definitely come back. The menu is big which I like. read more

First time here after we learned that it is a relatively new owner. Our first time previously was about 4 years ago and it was not good back then. We had high hopes. Unfortunately it was a big let down. First they have no sweetener of any kind at all. Our server didn't even know what we were talking about. I've never been in a restaurant that has no sweetener for those who don't put sugar in the iced tea. So we got the crab Rangoon and the beef yum neur. The Rangoon were very strange. Not sure exactly what the dough was but it was very nearly burned on top and pale white underneath, like they were baked under a broiler. They were also just not great tasting at all. So the yum neur: very very small salad for $16.95! The beef was very abundant which would normally be great if it were tender and tasty which this wasn't. The lettuce was sorely lacking which is a main ingredient in a salad. The flavor was decent but I asked for heat level of 4 out of 5. It was quite bland there as well. Definitely won't be coming back. read more

They have a new owner and everything has changed. My hibachi had no veggies only rice and no shrimp sauce . The hibachi was good but disappointed that you didn't get a veggie and shrimp sauce and the price was more than other restaurants around town. Almost $20.00. read more

First & last time eating there. Noodles were mushy and tasteless. Very bland food. Very disappointed!

If you live anywhere near the Mooresville area, Thai Thai Cafe is a must try. The gentleman who served us was extremely friendly and attentive. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very homely and welcoming and the good portions were fantastic for the price. The house made hot sauce in the squeeze bottle is also a must try. One of the best Thai places I've tried in the area. Will definitely make a revisit! read more

Love their pho!! Service was great and we loved the cozy atmosphere. We can't wait to go back!

Best Thai cuisine in the CLT metro region. I live in CLT but often come up to Moorseville, and probably every other time get Thai Thai. The yum yum salad is so flavorful, the pad thai is legit, and there are dishes for the less adventurous like Lo Mein. The folks that work there are very nice. Highly recommend. read more

This place is practicing proper social distancing, and the safe is also honoring the guests by wearing masks. This is the second time I've been here twice during Covid-19 and taken note of the changes the restaurant has made to ensure customers and staff are safe. Food Giving Thai Thai a second try, but this will likely be my last. For the food, I would give it two stars versus the three stars given for covid cleanliness. I'm not a fan of their sushi, and maybe it's because I'm accustomed to better sushi when I'm in Charlotte. But I come here when I'm visiting my boyfriend. However, the food isn't good, I wouldn't recommend this place for sushi after two try's. read more

Was disappointed in this visit. Called ahead and still waited 10 minutes past pick up time for food. Ordered fried pineapple rice with shrimp. Totally missing the cashews in it. Hubby had chicken fried rice and mostly just rice & veggies. Expensive for what you get. Will be looking for a new Thai place. Also note there is 2.75% transaction fee If you use a credit card. I specifically brought cash for that reason. read more

LOVE this restaurant. I order takeaway at least once a week, when I am home and able to. The prices are perfect, the service is always so kind and timely, and the food hits the spot! I also love the pick up drive thru window, if i feel under the weather I can order chicken and rice soup otp and pick it up without ever having to step out of my car! Inside is very nice with beautiful statues and bright colors: it is a great restaurant for a date night, small family dinner, or catching up with your friends over a delicious meal! 10/10 i recommend to every person deserving of a good meal read more

One of my favorite experiences is discovering a new restaurant that doesn't look like much but serves delicious food. This restaurant is that place! The modest outside looks like an old Tastee Freez or something, but trust me, they are serving up some delicious Thai cuisine. We began with Thai tea, which is pretty much my favorite thing to drink in the whole world. It's a strong tea topped with sweetened milk and mixed to perfection after it gets to the table. It is super sweet, but I adore it. This version is one of the best I've had. For appetizers we tried a few fried rolls. Mary got the spring rolls, which were simple but well executed. We could tell they were handmade. The sweet and sour sauce it was served with was deliciously tart. I got the Shrimp Blanket, which tasted just like the spring roll, but with a large whole shrimp inside. The sauce it was served with was Sweet and Sour sauce with some chopped peanuts sprinkled on top. I loved it! These were some of the best rolls I've ever had, and the shrimp was so fresh! I chose the Pad Gra Paow for my meal. It is a mix of shrimp, peppers, carrots, onions, garlic and fresh basil leaves stir fried in these deeply flavored brown sauce. The vegetables were cooked perfectly, tender but still with a little crunch. The shrimp were large and cooked perfectly, too. I loved this dish with the fresh basil! Served with white rice to help sop up that delicious sauce. Mary got the Gai Krob (Sweet and Sour Crispy Chicken) and it was just amazing. The sauce that it was in was a perfect balance of sweetness and tartness. The chicken was clearly breast meat and was breaded and fried crispy. She only let me have a tiny bite, but it was amazing. We were so pumped over our discovery and can't wait to go back! read more

Worst experience I've ever had here. Service has definitely suffered. I ask for pad Thai with vegetables was told they could do that. I got bean sprouts that's it. Had no taste. We were not impressed with this place. The staff was nice enough but the chicken in 2 different dishes was way over cooked and rubbery.

Pretty decent family run home the wall Thai joint. Service is always excellent. There was a flyer on the table for Curry Mee. I went wit seafood. Seafood was fresh but honesty could have had more. Kind of a bummer - just one or two (maybe) pieces of shrimp, scallop and calamari. They go by a spicy index of 1 to 5. I ordered 3. Not too spicy. For an app, I ordered the cheese rolls, which had excellent flavor. read more

Always been sketchy about eating here because I rarely see any customers and the parking lot always seemed empty. But when I walked in and saw the waitress and cooks were Thai ... I was quite pleased. All I can say is, I'd recommend!! Authentic enough, only missing was pork spring rolls and sticky rice which they need to add on the menu in real sticky rice holders! But everything else AUTHENTIC flavoring as it can get in Mooresville. Customer Service- Food- Portions- What I had is pictured below read more

Tahi Thai was one of several bookmarks made before arriving in Mooresville. Honestly was expecting to be disappointed upon walking in (not having any good Chinese in the area). So it was nice to see there were only a couple of tables available as soon as the staff could clean them off new patrons would sit. I hadn't had Pad see ewe in quite awhile seeing it on the lunch menu ordered it. Know the menu for the "Lunch Specials" has plenty to choose from is priced at $6.99-7.99 comes with a spring roll and garlic rice soup to start. Pad see ewe was as good as I remembered slightly sweet and smoky with some heat thrown in. You will be asked for your heat level and went with three. The noodles are a bigger here than at other places more like torn sheets instead of wide noodles would be my only gripe, the chicken was tender the broccoli crisp. Next visit Green Curry with chicken (choose your protein) had coconut milk, green beans, peppers, bamboo shoots, eggplant and basil (nixed the carrots). After a couple of pictures was ready to dig in. Oh man this was good. The creaminess of the coconut milk and the level three heat mixed with lightly sautéed chicken and veggies yum, more sauce please! Trust nothing was left on that plate. The dinner menu is more extensive than lunch so if you are looking for something specific just ask. Two visits in five days is a good thing looking forward to the next visit. read more

This place is 5 stars on the right day. The only reason for 4 is it's not super super consistent. The pho is to die for. The glass noodles are unique and super good as well. You probably can't go wrong with any decision. Pho comes with 3 sauces as well as a egg roll( I think) with sauce. All veggies are super fresh. Love it read more

Just had lunch at this place for the first time even tho I've driven by it dozens of times before. Why have I never eaten here? The food was delicious. I had panang curry and it was full of flavor, not too spicy, plus you can adjust the spiciness of a dish to suit your taste. I had it with chicken but it would've been fine as vegetarian. The yellow curry was really good too. Both dishes came with a scoop of sticky rice. A small bowl of soup and egg roll was included, altho the soup was a little watery with little flavor. The egg roll was freshly made. We also ordered a starter of steamed dumplings. They came out hot and very tasty. Service was outstanding. We were greeted and seated right away, our order was taken quickly and the food arrived hot and freshly made. The restaurant was really busy during lunch time so I'm glad we came early. Including a soda, each meal came out to just over $15 including a tip. For a full lunch at a sit-down restaurant with table service, that is a very reasonable price. I plan to return for dinner soon. read more

I love Thai food and was excited to try this place. We ordered the food for carry out. The presentation was good however our dishes did not taste like Thai food I've had in the past. Our dishes were very bland. We ordered the Larb Gai, fresh basil rolls and pepper steak. The rolls were good but the dipping sauce was bland. The Larb Gai had no flavor, I seasoned it with soy sauce and hot sauce at home as it was lacking the Thai Unami flavor, it literally tasted like ground chicken with onions, the pepper steak was the same. read more

Best Pad See Ew in this area code. 5 stars is underrating this restaurant. Highly recommend.

Busy day got late fast and MLB wasn't up to creating dinner from nothing at all. So she called over by here and I went and picked it up, they got a nifty little window for exactly that and I may try it next time. Also, if I ever find out what authentic is and how Thai is supposed to taste I may have to revisit this. meanwhile this is how it all set with me: Steamed dumplings are smallish but quite good when the plastic wrap is off, sweet soy sauce adds a measure of brightness. Seafood panang curry was a big hit with my lovely bride; respectable bits of shrimps, squid, and scallop in a coconutty curry with broccoli, carrots, and pineapple. Chicken Pad Gra Paow was a good choice for me; no coconut and plenty of peppers, onions, and carrots with basil enough for my tastes. Veggies are firm and abundant, flavors play well together and it stays moist in a light brown sauce. I could always go for more rice, maybe I'll put some on before I leave the house next time... read more

Stumbled upon this place and loved the green curry so much I took another portion home for the hubby....which led us to make the 40-minute trip to have it again! So I cant say much about other items as I might never try anything else. The menu had all the classic Thai staples and was very reasonably priced with generous portions. We chatted up the owners and discovered they're in the midst of building out a new location in our hometown of Lexington! - which is in desperate need of Thai food. The new building might also have an outdoor beer garden! We eagerly await the new spot and will again happily drive 40 minutes till it opens for more green curry! Tried this establishment a couple of times in the past , and was generally impressed with the flavors and the taste of the"heat" of the spicy items. They would ask you what level you wanted, and gave them a number 1 to 5 , with 5 being the hottest. Last week ordered the coconut soup, and told him I wanted it at the 5 (The highest) level of hot. He informed me that they don't do that anymore; they give you the hot sauce (on the side) to do it yourself. When I got the soup home, the general flavors were there, but the hot sauce they gave me was neither hot (at all) or added any taste. I was very disappointed. I thought, here is another place cutting back on ingredients (and hoping you don't notice), and soon the food will be, (if not already) a bland mess, judging from some other reviews, and a bad bland cheep imitation of the original authentic food. So, I will have to move on, and find some other "Thai"place that sticks authentic high quality ingredients and recipes. read more

The atmosphere is a bit old school diner. We went on a weekend night to check it out. I was pleasantly surprised with the food. I had a chicken dish that was really good. Had just the right amount of spice and was flavorful. The prices are decent and service was also good. I would not hesitate to go back again to give it another try. My main reason for the 3 stars is mainly due to the atmosphere. read more
