Have been here twice & won't be the last. It is our favorite place in Lee's Summit, I can't believe we have not tried this place sooner! Thom yum soup is amazing, probably one of the best we've ever had. Usually it is too salty but not here, just soothing as can be. Pad kee mow w/ beef is savory, I've had it twice! Need to try some other dishes but that's my favorite Thai dish. Service is great, very attentive w/ a smile. Living in LS, it's nice not to travel to KC to get a great meal! read more

I am not sure why this place is called Thai. I think it's just Chinese or fancied Chinese which I am ok with that but the options are not that of a Thai restaurant. I've only gotten taken out and it's just ok imo. read more

We were a little nervous when we walked in at lunch time and it was empty but as time went on it get very busy. Everything I had was excellent. My only complaint is that the panang curry was a little watery but still had great flavor. The pineapple fried rice was amazing. The Lee's Summit rolls are delicious. Even my very picky son really liked his chicken dish that he got. I can't remember what it was called but it was delicious. I will definitely be eating here again. read more

Went with my sister, and we were both disappointed. We are experts when it comes to Thai food, having had the real thing. The soup I was served was a joke. I'm sure their dish water would have more flavor, than what I was served. No decent coconut soup available, which is a signature dish for a Thai restaurant. Most of what they serve is actually American Chinese food, with a few curry dishes, that resemble Indian food more than Thai food. Poor presentation, lack of authenticity. Tastes like mass produced, canned and reheated, food. To add insult to injury, the atmosphere is that of a Tokyo, wannabe French cafe. Service was slow, and unfriendly. Prices way to high for the quality of food. You may have the spices, Thai Spice, but you need to learn how to use them. And if you want to be a Thai restaurant, get rid of all the New York, Chinatown, dishes. If you really want to learn how to be an authentic Thai restaurant, you should visit a hidden gem near Atlanta GA, called Thai Ginger. No, I'm not kidding. read more

I went to Thai Spice for dinner with my mother and father. My father ordered the Thai Fried Rice with shrimp and there was not a morsel left on his plate. I ordered the Thai Spicy Cashew with beef and loved it! It was a colorful dish of red and green pepper, onions, and carrots with cashews and beef. The restaurant has cute modern decor and our waitress was extremely friendly. Once you go, the only regret you will have is that you did not try it earlier. read more

This restaurant is the only thai restaurant I have visited in this area. I am an avid thai food junkie before I moved here from Oahu. The thai food there is very good so I wasn't sure what to expect here in Missouri so here is my review. Pad thai/thai hot/ was very good. Great spice level however tofu was missing. I see that you can add it but I feel like this usually was standard in pad thai so I didn't probably would of been better with it. Crab rangoon/ was good, light and airy, cream cheese was sweet. Tom yum soup/seafood/thai hot. I love hot food but the thai hot on the tom yum is really hot!!!!! I'll have to take it down a notch next time, be warned. Also I didnt care for the imatation crab but we live in the midwest so...... Royal fried rice /chicken/ no spice/. Good flavor, I love thai fried rice compared to chinese fried rice. Great smokey basil onion flavor. All portions were plenty I have seen bigger at other restaurants however it is more than enough. So stop in give it a try. read more

We have eaten here twice and both times it has been amazing. The Pad Thai is delicious and the seafood variety comes packed with meat. But the show stopper is the Drunken Noodles (Pad Ki Mao). It is delicious. Sweet, savory, and full of vegetables. Order it, you won't be disappointed. read more

Every time we crave some Pad Thai, this is the place we choose for our Friday night Thai cravings.

So far I've had takeout twice and they've both been good. The wonton soup has a good flavor and the dumplings are very tender. The Jungle Curry was good. It was different than what I'm used to but I liked the flavor and the spice. The Drunken Noodles with chicken are my favorite. They don't have any heat to them though. Next time I'll ask them to add some spice to the dish. read more

I went there on 04/11/17 at 4:17pm only to find out they were closed. They close for 2 hours between 3 & 5pm Having lived in Thailand for almost 2 years I was hungry for good Thai food, so I waited for them to open. I asked or Som Tum, which is a Spicy Papaya Salad, all good Thai Restaurants serve it. This place did not. disappointed as I was, I thought I'd give this place a chance. I ordered the Pineapple Fried Rice, it was supposed to be a signature dish. It was the most bland fried rice I had ever tasted. I think Hyvee's fried rice has more flavor. Just went here for lunch and was disappointed. I had the seseme chicken. It was served in thin strips that looked weird, and it was very dry. I ordered egg rolls for appetizers which were good. The sweet and sour soup was good. I will try one more time, and will up date my review if needed. read more

I ordered online and went in for pick up and I noticed my pad Thai looked different so I asked if they accidentally put in the wrong order. They showed me that I actually ordered the Thai noodles online (my mistake) and I told them I really wanted pad Thai. They took care of it, credited my account (Thai noodles were a little more expensive than the pad Thai) and put in the right order. I had my pad Thai within 10 minutes. They refused our business! We LOVE the Thai Spice in Lees Summit but we happened to be in Raytown so we arrived not knowing for sure their hours. We were glad to see on the door that they were open until 9pm. It was just a little before 8:30 so we walked in. One of the staff met us inside and we asked for a table for 6. He said we don't seat people this close to closing time. What?!?! I checked the front door and confirmed they were indeed supposed to be open to 9pm. We walked down to Pepperjacks and enjoyed a good meal there. When we left we noticed the Thai Spice staff were locking their door and it still wasn't even 9pm yet. read more
