Unfortunately the two chefs left the restaurant and now it's just become another so-so Thai spot. It lacks spice and everything we've had for the past few months has been bland and underwhelming. So disappointing! We really loved this place a year ago! Pfttt

I came here because of all the great reviews, but after my experience, I honestly don't understand…read morethe hype. From the moment we walked in, we felt unwelcome. The host/server didn't greet us or say hello--instead, she looked confused that we were even there. When we asked if we could sit at the bar, her response was, "Um... yeah, I guess," which immediately made us feel like we were inconveniencing her. After we sat down, she continued staring at us as if we weren't supposed to be there. The service only got worse from there. She was rude while taking our order, then spent most of the time sitting directly across from us on her phone. She never once checked on us, asked how the food was, or if we needed refills or anything else. It was some of the most inattentive and unprofessional service I've experienced. Unfortunately, the food didn't make up for it. It was mediocre at best. The vegetables in my curry were clearly freezer-burned, which completely ruined the dish. I also ordered soup with tofu in it, and the tofu tasted like it had been fried in oil that hadn't been changed in months. It had an old, rancid, greasy flavor that made it almost impossible to eat. Overall, the poor customer service and disappointing food made this a terrible experience. I won't be coming back, and I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

Great dining area that was clean and welcoming, fantastic staff and some of the best Thai food We've ever had. We decided while we live in a different part of the city this place is worthy of a special trip to come back. We will be back...Thank you for a great lunch!!

So happy that I found this Thai place last week. Even happier that I found it during lunch hours…read moreand was able to take advantage of their lunch special. I came by on 6/19 and was sat with no wait at a booth in their bar area. The waitress was very nice and held multiple roles (greeter, waitress, bartender, cashier etc). After ordering she brought us out a complementary sample of some of the best soup I've ever had. The broth was packed with flavor and it had little pieces of tofu in it. I would go back just for the soup alone. The food was equally as good. I ordered the Cashew nut lunch entree that came with white rice. Again, full of flavor and only mildly spicy as I can't handle much heat. Served steaming hot and with a decent portion size. I will definitely be adding this restaurant to my list of places to return. *Sorry for the poor picture quality. The place was dimly lit and I was super hungry so I didn't prioritize photos on this one.

We met at Bangkok for our youngest son's birthday. We had 8 in our party. We walked in just a…read morelittle late and they had about 4 different plates of appetizers on our table. As we decided on our meal our waitress did a great job of keeping water and tea on our table plus any type of sauces we asked for to dip our egg rolls and spring rolls and Crab dragons (one of my favorites). Our oldest son and his girlfriend was enjoyed the Sushi. Our youngest had ordered a bowl of chicken and rice soup with scallions. I noticed he was letting it cool so I got me a spoonful and in my older years I can't handle a lot of salt in or on my food. And his soup definitely had to much. As our food was being our daughter in-law had a bowl of egg drop soup. Something I also enjoy. But she took about two spoons full and pushed it to the side. I started to put my spoon in and she warned me that it was extremely Salty. So I took her word for it. The waitress took it off the bill. I had ordered Hibachi steak and shrimp. My steak was as tuff as it could be. The shrimp were okay but nothing to write home about. So with in a two week span my wife and I spent over 100 dollars on food from two different restaurants in Salisbury that unless we just happened to hit on an off day we were very disappointed in our food. We have dined at Bangkok several times over the years it's been at this location and been very pleased with our meal. But last night we were disappointed.

I have eaten here several times and I honestly couldn't wait to come here again when I moved back…read moreto NC, but my recent visit left me uncomfortable with the checkout process. I was with a party of six and when it was time to pay the payment screen was not turned towards us and we were simply told our individual totals. We were not given itemized receipts. My beef pho was listed as 14.99 on the menu and I ordered a sweet tea, but my total was 23.69. After several people in our group noticed that their total seemed higher than expected, I asked about it and was then told that the gratuity was included. That was not explained to us before payment, and without an itemized receipt we had no way to see the drink price, tax, gratuity percentage, or how the total was calculated. There was one person in the group who ordered something for $14 and her total came out to $28! I don't have an issue with automatic gratuity and I consider myself a good tipper, but the lack of transparency of providing an itemized receipt made me question their integrity. Not sure if I will come back here which is sad because there's not many options here in Lexington for pho. The beef pho was very good by the way!
