This is truly a diamond in the rough! The Thai food was delicious! Best Tom Kha I have ever had! Pineapple fried rice was really good too! This might be the best place I have been too in a really long time! The service was great. If I could say anything that I would change; I don't like whipped cream on my tea and it is usually a little denser, but it was still very good! Excited to come back and try their sushi too. Very reasonably priced as well! Will absolutely be coming back. 100% worth the drive from concord!

Thai Spice never misses. I put everyone in the area onto this given any opportunity to do so. I drive here (30+ min) at least once every two weeks just for the sushi. Everything is fresh, delicious, and very fairly priced. Service is always timely and friendly. Clean and inviting.

We moved into the area about 2 years ago and being from Vietnam, struggled to find a Vietnamese restaurant anywhere! I would need to drive 45 minutes to the closest one. Not being familiar with Thai cuisine, I didn't know what to order and what to expect but we are so happy to have found this place! The first time we visited here was 2 years ago. Everything was wonderful and my picky kids actually ate their food! Because it was 2 years ago, I don't remember all that we ordered but I remembered that I ordered the pho, to see if it was as good as Vietnamese pho. It was honestly soooo good! I think about it constantly. Since the pandemic, we've been staying home but decided to venture out again yesterday. We didn't realize we arrived a few minutes before they were about to close to prepare for dinner but they still took our order to go. Hubby ordered the spicy duck and I ordered their pad Thai with shrimp and an appetizer of steamed pork dumplings with 2 Thai teas. Great portions, great flavors, great prices! We've ordered from here 2 days in a row now! We are OBSESSED with their Thai Tea! I also love that you can eat hibachi and sushi here as well. We'll definitely have to try that next time! Highly HIGHLY recommend giving this place a try! I failed to take a picture of our meals but I made sure to take pics of their menu to add to this review.

What an awesome find. Never expected to find such a cool little spot in Albemarle. They don't have draft beer but they do have the tall Sapporo which is a great second option. Sushi roll was fresh and well made. Daily food and drink specials and when they give you a 0-5 spice rating you can count on it being accurate. From the edamame to the pad see ewe, I was pleasantly surprised. They even have a kids menu. We will definitely be back.

Food was ok but I got a bug in my food. I brought this to their attention and they didn't do anything about it. Will not be going back.

I had a wonderful experience at Bangkok Downtown. It's one of the few places in the area that…read moreoffers sushi alongside Thai-inspired options, which already makes it stand out. The food was excellent--fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavor. The sushi in particular was a pleasant surprise, both in quality and presentation. Everything felt thoughtfully made rather than rushed. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, striking a nice balance between casual and comfortable. It's the kind of place where you can relax, enjoy your meal, and actually take your time without feeling pressured. Service was friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. From start to finish, the visit felt smooth and enjoyable. Overall, Bangkok Downtown delivers a great combination of food, atmosphere, and experience. I'd definitely return and recommend it to anyone looking for a solid meal in a relaxed setting--especially if you're craving sushi in an unexpected spot.

We met at Bangkok for our youngest son's birthday. We had 8 in our party. We walked in just a…read morelittle late and they had about 4 different plates of appetizers on our table. As we decided on our meal our waitress did a great job of keeping water and tea on our table plus any type of sauces we asked for to dip our egg rolls and spring rolls and Crab dragons (one of my favorites). Our oldest son and his girlfriend was enjoyed the Sushi. Our youngest had ordered a bowl of chicken and rice soup with scallions. I noticed he was letting it cool so I got me a spoonful and in my older years I can't handle a lot of salt in or on my food. And his soup definitely had to much. As our food was being our daughter in-law had a bowl of egg drop soup. Something I also enjoy. But she took about two spoons full and pushed it to the side. I started to put my spoon in and she warned me that it was extremely Salty. So I took her word for it. The waitress took it off the bill. I had ordered Hibachi steak and shrimp. My steak was as tuff as it could be. The shrimp were okay but nothing to write home about. So with in a two week span my wife and I spent over 100 dollars on food from two different restaurants in Salisbury that unless we just happened to hit on an off day we were very disappointed in our food. We have dined at Bangkok several times over the years it's been at this location and been very pleased with our meal. But last night we were disappointed.
