The TOM KHA KAI is so good. It's a must if you dine in. The staff were very attentive and we felt very welcome. The portions are tasty and the thing I love most about this place is how different each plate is.

Pre-Christmas gathering between family and friends, 6 in total. Needed a spot between Bedford and Granbury, that had vegetarian options. Thuy's sleuthing came up with Thai Select. My first impression, when we walked in, was not very good. The small, brightly lit, eating area was a collection of 2-tops and 4-tops. It was not very cozy. Yuk. When asked, "How many?", our replay was "six." A puzzled look came over the woman's face, and then she said, "Come this way." She led us to an adjacent room, nicely lit, with larger tables. OK, things are looking up. Thuy and I sit down, order two hot teas (choice was Green or Jasmine) and start looking over the menu. So here's what we ordered. I can only comment on what I ordered, my go to for any new to me Thai place: Pad Thai w/ tofu. Unlike other menu items, there was no indicator that heat level can be requested by number, so I asked our server to make it spicy. I like my pad thai spicy! It was good, a little on the sweet side, as it sometimes is. Also not as much as tamarind sauce as I like, but perfectly acceptable. Ok, other items at the table: Pot Stickers (fried), Som Tum Salad, Pad Key Mao, Panang Curry, Teriyaki (Chicken), Three Mushrooms (from the vegetarian section), and a Goon Ob Woosen. This last dish, "Goon Ob Woosen", was ordered by Thuy, and needs a bit of a description: "Jumbo shrimp with glass noodles, shiitake mushrooms, peppercorns steamed in a clay pot." Very good, and if you like ginger, this is the dish for you. The only complaint I heard was that the Som Tum (Papaya Salad) could have been spicier. This was from my nephew who, like me, likes things pretty spicy. I regret that I did not try it. Bottom line here is that it was a great meal, with friendly service, and we did not feel rushed to get out (even though closing time was fast approaching). Note: Prices on the on-line menu were not quite what we paid. Some of the actual prices were a bit higher. Just pointing this out so that maybe the IT guy can do an update. That being said, prices were very reasonable, considering we are still getting over the shock of food prices in CA.

We have stopped by for lunch and dinner and both times were very delicious and the staff was great! Such a relaxing atmosphere. I have tried a few dishes, but plan on trying all of them! So much flavor and great spice!!!

HOLY! Talk about quality, quantity and value! Splendid taste, fantastic, crunchy egg-roll and well rounded Lo Mein. Fast and friendly attention to customer. My new spot for work lunch!

Thai Select is a popular spot for good reason. We've been eating there for years, as it, Thailicious and Spice, (it's sister restaurants) were some of the first Thai restaurants that were located in south Fort Worth. They do standards such as fried rice dishes very well, but it pays to explore the rest of the menu. They have a wonderful Spicy Beef Salad, but my favorite dish is Black Pepper Beef, a stir fried dish served on a hot platter. They also have a lunch menu that we take advantage of when we can.

Been here twice, once dining in and once to go. Unique location in a strip mall. Inside is a bit odd with a separate dining area that was closed the time I came in to grab to go. Service was so so when I dined in, one of the younger guys bringing water and taking drink orders had the most whatever lackadaisical attitude. I wasn't offended but was worried the guy might fall asleep from apathy mid stride. On my to go order they gave me no utensils in the bag so uh yeah, thanks for that. Food wise it's pretty good, firmly in the good not great category for me. Nothing to write home about but I'm also not mad at taste and portion. Fried tofu was a touch too well done. Bacon wrapped scallops were pretty good but pricey ($9). Chicken satay was lackluster, somewhat tough and at $8 a serving was pushing it. I'd eat here again, but I'm probably going to try out some other places first.

My mom recommended we order food from here. We ordered a variety of food for 6 of us. When we arrived to pick up our food the staff was welcoming and nice. The restaurant was clean and was located in a plaza with parking. The food was delicious. Some of the dishes we made it spicy level of 2-3. The won ton soup was really good and spicy.

When dining to the restaurant, they have recently changed their name to "Thai Zen" and the Street Sign says "Thai Zen by Thai Terrace." Thai Zen is still owned by the same folks, so if you liked Thai Terrace, keep going back! They were good and fresh. I'd like to have had some fresh basil inside them. The peanut sauce was Devine. The perfect compliment. The crab Rangoon was soooo good. Lightly crispy in texture and delicious. One of the best I've ever eaten. The chicken pad Thai was "ok". I ordered a 2 in heat level and it was served a bit more "hotter" than I'd have liked. The chili oil slightly over powered the dish. The range offered was 1-5 in terms of spice and thought I'd be safe with a 2. I'm still trying to decide if I liked it or not (I'm super picky when it comes to Thai food) Landing 3 stars for the Pad Thai. The fried rice was good as was the wonton soup. My sis enjoyed it even though she's not a huge Thai food lover. This is a hole in the wall with only 6 tables. Service was Friendly and quick. Tried to hit the 3.5 star button but couldn't quite connect it.

The outer shell was noticeably thicker and more heavily fried than usual. The filling wasn't the typical mix of glass noodles, cabbage, and carrots, it included taro, which had a softer, slightly mushy texture. The accompanying sauce was a bright red color. It wasn't bad, just not my personal favorite. I ordered the pad Thai with fried tofu at medium spice, and it could have used a bit more heat. They don't keep the dry red pepper powder on the tables, so you have to ask for it. My friend ordered the panang curry at level four spice and really enjoyed it. Overall, not a bad spot. Portions are generous, I had plenty of leftovers. The waitress was friendly and attentive.

This place is legit, the real deal! I recommend stopping by if you are in the area because it is so worth it. They are located in a small shopping strip mall thing on the Haltom city / Fort Worth border. I have had their duck, the tum yum soup, a rice noodle dish, and an appetiser I can't remember. During my most recent visit, I had the green curry with beef at a level 2 spice and the drunken noodles level 4. I love that they make sure to ask what level of spice you want on every dish because i have been to a couple of places that just make them all the same level as your main dish. In the past, I have gotten their Tum Yum soup, and its delicious. I had their pad se ew with beef, amazing. I had their spring rolls, pork belly, and they are one favorite things on the menu.
