Although I am regularly in the area, I have never stumbled on Princess Thai. I wouldn't have found it without a friend who suggested this location as she was in the mood for Asian food. The restaurant is charming. I loved the floral décor and cute brass lighting. The menu is varied, offering both the familiar crab rangoon and spring rolls and the less familiar mango avocado salad, coconut noodles, or prew warn. I went with the mango avocado salad and pineapple curry while my friend went with the fried rice and tofu stir-fry. Of course, I also had the Thai iced tea. I don't think I saw any avocados in the salad, at least not the conventional avocado slices, but there was a good amount of crunchy, whole cashews, which I loved. The pineapple curry was fantastic. The flavorful curry had a substantial amount of seafood, shrimp, squid, and scallops. I'm glad I ordered it mild because it was already quite spicy. This was my first time here and we loved it! We drive by it all the time and have heard great reviews that were surely met. We started with spring rolls and decided to get lunch combos which came with tom yum soup and a ginger salad. I chose the curry pad Thai while my mom got the green curry stew. Ok we ordered the chicken satay which was a bit overcooked and dry. Our two entrees (mango chicken & green curry chicken) were superb. Some of the best I've had at a Thai eatery. Spice levels were spot on. Presentation was very good. I ordered the Thai lemon ice tea was not to my liking. The dining room was postage stamp sized seating maybe 25 patrons, which can be a pro or con. The seating in the bench along the wall was higher than the chair on the other side of the table. So try not to get a table against the wall. Service was a bit slow but still appropriate. Interesting decor with Thai trinkets and art work. A friend of mine suggested we try this spot since we'd both been craving Thai food, and I'm so glad we did! The restaurant's décor was lovely--you can tell a lot of thought went into selecting each piece, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. This was my first time visiting this location since my usual favorite is temporarily closed. I ordered the Bangkok Chicken with brown rice, but unfortunately the experience was disappointing. The photos on the website look nothing like what I actually received. The portions were very small, and I was given white rice instead of the brown rice I ordered. A coworker also ordered dumplings that were basically inedible--they had a very strong fishy taste. She is allergic to fish, which made it even more concerning. This is a small, cute, and casual place for Thai food. The sign for the business name is in the window, so it may be hard to see from the road. Trust your GPS, and you should get there just fine. I didn't have any trouble finding a parking spot in the lot right out front. The décor is cute (I forgot to take photos because I was yappin') and we were seated right away. We got there at 6, and the rest of the place was filled up quickly. There was only one server, so they didn't really check on us much after our food was brought out. My friend had to ask for her water to be refilled, and we could never get their attention to get me more rice. It was fine, because it helped me save more room for dessert! We each got the Tom Yum Soup--she got the vegetable and I got the tofu, then I got jealous of hers. I barely had any vegetables in mine, and I think I would've preferred the variety. The soup was a little sweet and not spicy enough for me, so the server brought over dried chili flakes, which helped. My friend got the Jungle Curry and I got the Green Curry, which were both really liked. For dessert, we got the Mango with Sticky Rice, which was delicious! The mango was nice and ripe, and the crispy bits on the sticky rice were fun. I'll definitely keep this place in mind next time I am craving Thai food in the area! read more

The ambiance is so cute in this place! It's a rather small restaurant though so if you're in a wheelchair or with a larger party, things get quite cramped in there. The service is great. The food was pretty tasty as well. We started with the papaya salad, which was more sweet than spicy, so it wasn't our favorite. It had pretty hard green beans in it, which I did not care for. The peanut curry and the pad ped curries were both great. The steamed tofu was perfect and the veggies in both curries were awesome. The rice is served in cute shapes which adds to the aesthetic as well. The food did take a bit of a wait though even though the place wasn't very full. In town for several weeks on a business trip, looked up a local restaurant for Thai food and found Thai Princess. What a hidden gem!!! Went in for dinner on a Wednesday evening and the small dining room was almost full with only one table opened. There was only one hostess, cashier & waitress. Nevertheless, she quickly sat me down filled my water glass and handed me a menu. The stream of people picking up takeout was never ending. I ordered a a Chicken Tom Yum soup and requested it mild. The soup was delicious, it was the broth that made it great. From my main entrée, I ordered chicken Pad Thai. The portions were very generous, almost enough to share. The taste was unbelievable! I eat Thai food often, all over the world and this was fantastic. I will definitely be returning on my next visit into town. read more

Was craving some Thai so I stopped in this place. The reviews looked good so I wanted to see for myself. The sitting area is pretty small so I recommend if you do fancy this place please come early. The waiter was cool, wasn't really informative on the menu so I started off the fried calamari (not pictured) the butterfly tea and some wings. For those particular items you can sense right off the back the wings are not fried in-house. They are boxed pre-breaded they pretty much just nuked them and sauced them. The wings were very bland in taste and mushy. The butterfly tea tasted like sprite with a hint of lavender? Pretty weird considering I've spent some time in Thailand for travels and this isn't authentic Thai food. So I went to the entrees and ordered the crab fried rice and drunken noodles. The crab fried was Sooooooo fishy like I'm not sure if they just dumped a bucket of fish oil on it or the crab was a few days old but I didn't enjoy it. The drunken noodles were a combination of seafood ( scallops, squid and shrimp). I had more bamboo and vegetables than noodles and meat! Everything I ordered was completed bland!!!! It really tastes like boxed meals they just heated up. I won't be eating here again. After I explained about the wings to my waiter he told me I can't send them back and I have to pay for them. I didn't have a problem paying for my dishes I just wanted to order something else but he became very rude after that even stopped coming by to refill the water. Next, the Massaman curry has great flavor but, I ordered with beef $17 and extra beef +$3... there was maybe 2 oz of thin shaved beef (Philly cheese steak style) in the curry. Very little potato and onion as well. Basically a quart of yellow curry sauce and plain white rice for $20. Very little potato, onion (which are cheap) and hardly any protein. 2 because the flavor is good. I saw a 4.6 google rating and assumed that the food would meet the rating standard for 4.6. So fun to see this Chinese takeout remodeled into a small cute sit down restaurant. Great lunch special menu. The soup included with the lunch special is a creamy tomato based tom yum with chicken. A little garden salad with a miso like dressing. I ordered red curry, it was definitely more spicy than mild but very tasty. The service is friendly. I have driven past this restaurant everyday, on my way to work and on the way home, or running errands, etc, and I am so happy I decided to stop in!! My boyfriend and I were craving Thai after a long day of swimming and having fun on the 4th of July, and we were met with such amazing service! They were so attentive, my water glass was never empty! The food was incredible!! We got the appetizer combo and the curry wraps to start. We finished off with peanut curry and massaman curry. Everything was delicious! The portions are perfect because you'll be left with such amazing left overs for when you're craving it again the next day...or in our case when my boyfriend dived back in the second we got home! The walls are adorned with greenery, accented with golden features and upholstery that pops with dynamic dark green and white stripes and rich sunset gold pillows. It made me wish I hadn't ordered to go, though I do anticipate that I'll be back. I started with an order of Chicken Spring Rolls, which were crispy and delicious. I also tried the Satay Chicken which are seasoned chicken skewers served with peanut sauce and cucumber honey syrup. I was impressed with the quality of the chicken and the rich flavor. I ordered two main courses, saving one for the next day's lunch. First up was the Mango Delight, made with chicken. The Mango Delight is listed as a Thai Princess Specialty. This was an amazing choice that combined the savory taste of deep fried battered chicken with refreshing bites of fresh mango, all tied together with sweet and sour sauce.This may as well have been candy it was so sweet and addicting. The Rama Noodle had sauteed flat rice noodles with steamed mixed veggies in peanut sauce. This was also a great choice, with nice fresh veggies making this a solid, well-rounded meal with just a little bit of a kick to it. For desert was Homemade Coconut Ice Cream. Obviously this was delightful. Thai Princess has a variety of menu options, including Coconut Noodle, Rad Nah, Pad Thai, various Curries and Fried Rice dishes, and more specialties like Khao Soi which is crispy egg noodles served with chicken or beef in yellow coconut soup. I called to explain to the restaurant the problems that we had and they told us they were not going to do anything about it and we don't know what Thai food is.... Found this place on DoorDash due to disabilities in the household and got treated like absolute trash from management when we didn't like their food...
