Disappointing. Dark interior with some Thai ambiance, including the servers. I couldn't read the menu without my pocket flashlight. The Pad Thai looked good but was bland and not tasty. Very friendly place to try some amazing food. My gf and I went for a quick dinner. Greeted right away and got a table quickly. Keep in mind it was Sunday evening. Walked in and ordered entrees for carry out on a Sunday evening. It was super busy with multiple take out deliveries and packed diners. Waited more than half an hour and after four requests to get the food finally. The food was mediocre at best. Panang curry was good, not too spicy, a tad sweet, creamy with coconut milk and hints of peanuts. The combination fried rice was good as well. Thai grilled chicken was just okay. The cashew with vegetables was a disappointment. If you very hungry and want to something warm, order and eat. Don't expect much and you won't be disappointed. Helps if you're Caucasian as they do take special care. Brown & blank folks stay away to avoid the subtle ignorance and unwelcome feeling to dine in. read more

1st time at this location, visiting the area from Tampa. My failsafe is Thai food. We usually get Ginger chicken and Pad Thai... we stayed with the ginger chicken but i love noodles and soup so I tried the Roasted Duck Noodle Soup.. made the right choice.. although the broth was salty... it was amazing... the roasted duck was really nice, it was most likely fried but was great. Visiting from the East Coast of Florida we needed a change from seafood and chose our 'go to' favorite food.. Thai. Went onto Yelp and chose the Thai Palace. The only thing left to say is "OUTSTANDING"! The food was about the best Thai ever, the service was also about the best ever and have to mention the menu was absolutely the best we have ever seen in a Thai restaurant. *****Rip off alert *** came here for early dinner and the food was pretty bland. About $12-$13 per plate for my hubby and I. The issue was w ordering soda. We each ordered soda and they brought us each a can of Coke. We drank that and ordered refills for dinner. So in total we had 4 cans of soda. The bill came and we were charged $16 for soda!!! That is $3.90 per can of soda x4! When i asked about the charge the manager came out and only offered to give me a $4 cash refund (after she ran my card)! Ridiculous, never coming here again. I can buy a 12 pack of soda at Publix for $5. My bill total was $50++ instead of around $35. Watch out ! read more

The most amazing Thai cuisine you will ever put in your mouth. You will not ever need soy sauce to add any flavor! The presentation of the food as well shows just how much this chef cares about pleasing your palate. A heart shape is pressed into your rice and a beautiful orchid flower adorns your plate with every entrée! Vegetables are cooked to perfection and the sauces just burst in your mouth! I intend to try almost everything on the menu this winter before I go home! I do believe I could eat there everyday and not get tired of this mouthwatering food! The Panang Curry or Amazing Peanut Curry is the best! The chicken rice soup and spring roll served with your meal is wonderfully flavored. I usually have food delivered, but this is the first time I've dined in. The whole experience was fantastic. The food was very fresh. I had my usual of Sa-tay, Pad Thai, Jasmine rice and Thai tea with cream. Prices are reasonable for Thai restaurants. I usually smother everything with their peanut sauce. If the food matched the decor and service here I'd easily award five stars. Unfortunately, the food was just okay. Tasty but nothing memorable, and a bit pricy for what you get. My pad thai was similar to what I've had in many less fancy places and missing that pizzaz that a really great pad thai should have. No zest to the tamarind sauce even though I ordered and received it spicier than usual. The very pricy duck ordered by a friend had a sort of strange tomato based sauce and the duck itself wasn't particularly special. I'm not an authority on Thai art, furnishings or decoration, it always seems a bit over the top to me but this restaurant was warmly decorated, comfortably furnished and appropriately lit to make it seem truly welcoming. The food? Simply delicious. The Tom kah soup was the best I've had, the "amazing" curry (really, that's what the menu calls this particular peanut curry) was so good I cleaned my plate and wished for more but since I was already almost too full to walk out..... Wait staff are great, knowledgeable and eager to recommend something. This is your typical small Thai restaurant raised to an entirely new level. I'll be back every trip, guaranteed. read more

Beautifully decorated, clean, amazing service, food was awesome!!! They are also conscious about Gluten Free! It basically tasted like heavily flavored (fish sauce) noodles with some tofu. My wife and I have been here for the season from California doing restaurant work and we drive all the way from Anna Maria Island to have their awesome curry, stir fry and Basil/Pineapple fried rice.
