At that point, I went next door to TD Bank to verify the exchange rate and make sure I wasn't misunderstanding the conversion. The bank confirmed that the amount I was given was not correct and that I was being shorted money. I went back to the restaurant, explained the situation, and thankfully, the lady eventually gave me my original $100 USD back. I went to the bank, got the exact Canadian amount I needed, and returned to pay my bill. What makes this especially disappointing is that the food was actually good, and the atmosphere was nice. I would have gladly left a positive review based on those things alone. But when you're visiting a business and have to go to a bank next door just to verify whether you're being given the correct change, it completely destroys the trust and the experience. Mistakes happen, but having to go back multiple times and then discovering that I was still short nearly $20 CAD is extremely frustrating. The dishonesty--or at the very least the lack of transparency--left a really bad impression. It's unfortunate because this could have been a great experience. Instead, the way the payment was handled is the part I'll remember most.

Everything looked below average, our noodle dish only had random chunks of noodles scattered and it was mainly chinese broccoli, our eggplant dish had maybe 7 pieces of tiny eggplant (it was mainly all other vegetables), and our curry was essentially soup.
