    Decor is wonderful.

We love this restaurant for one simple reason: their food is exceptional. Tonight we had chicken pad thai which was flavourful and served hot. The hot and sour soup is very generous in terms of serving size and the ingredients and flavour is perfect. The sticky rice at dessert was not too sweet and the perfect consistency. Service is always prompt and courteous. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone interested in Thai dishes.

I understand it is a Friday night, which can be busy so I was not bothered by being told it would be 25-30 mins wait. I had a few other things to do so I took the wait time as an opportunity to do so. I arrived at the restaurant at 7:50pm (35 mins after the order) and there was only 1 dine-in guest and 1 food delivery service worker in the restaurant. When I asked for my food, the employee told me it would be another 5 mins so I decided to sit in the restaurant to wait. 5 mins went by, 10 mins went by, 15 mins went by and still nothing. The employee didn't even say anything to me about the extended delay and I had to go to the counter to ask. She told me she was waiting on 1 more item so I sat back down pretty annoyed. 5-8 mins later, still nothing so I went back to the counter and asked and she was still waiting for the item. At this point I was very annoyed and frustrated as I had many other things to do and it had been 50 mins since my order and nearly double the time I was originally told. I told the employee about this and all she could say was that there was only 1 chef, she couldn't do anything and that all she could do was say sorry (not even in a genuine way)!! I told her a few times that this is so unacceptable that I have been sitting around waiting for 20-25 mins, when I had already been waiting for 35 mins prior to arriving. She repeated what she said earlier and offered a very insincere and unsympathetic sorry. We have notified them in the past about the lack of customer service so obviously they don't take feedback and care at all, which is very disappointing!! Once I finally got my food, nearly an hour after ordering, I went home and we found the quality of the food to be so bad. Everything looked below average, our noodle dish only had random chunks of noodles scattered and it was mainly chinese broccoli, our eggplant dish had maybe 7 pieces of tiny eggplant (it was mainly all other vegetables), and our curry was essentially soup. I am not sure what has happened to the quality of the food as this has not been the case in the past. To me, I am not getting what I am paying for!! This was the most disappointing experience I have had at Thai Diner and it is not the first time something has come up.

We ordered the red curry pad thai and the green curry with coconut rice. Great balance of flavor and spice. Plus the quantity was perfect, enough for yourself and a bit to share. The crab rang-goon was a delicious starter. Everything came out quickly and tasted fresh. Nice new spot, great value for your money.

We were driving back from Niagara Falls and wanted to find a spot for a good bowl of pho. After browsing on Yelp, we decided on Pho Binh Minh. The restaurant was practically empty when we arrived around 8:45 p.m. on a weekend and we were seated promptly. We ordered our usual favorites and awaited eagerly to dive into a delicious bowl of noodle soup. The rare beef pho was oily and the broth lacked depth with a very strong note of MSG. I am not a MSG hater as I totally get its place in the culinary world, but... it should really play a supporting role, not the main character. In the case of PBM, the MSG was the star of the show which I didn't love. Unfortunately, my tom yum vermicelli did not fare any better. I expected a spicier and tangier broth. Instead, what I got was overly sweet and rather bland soup. Although the soups were served with all the right trimmings, I was rather disappointed that the flavours were so lacking. I probably wouldn't come back to PBM even if I am back in the area in the future.

Not sure why they were separated on the menu - it would have been better to categorize the dish in the same section, and just indicate the different types of noodles to select from. Unfortunately, the server didn't point this out when we ordered. The beef was also very chewy. The Shrimps with Salty Sauce had a good flavour, but the breading was very thick. It would have been better if they used less breading or replaced it with cornstarch or panko. The meal came out at a reasonable time. The servers tend to stay behind the cash counter so if you need service, you have to get up and ask. This was the case when asking for serving utensils, and also paying our bill. Decor was average.

T3: Khao Soi with Grilled Chicken ($24). T5: Pad See-ew with Chicken & Shrimp ($20). D12: Fried Banana with Mango Ice Cream ($11). The Crispy Krab Rangoon is an appetizer consisting of golden crispy wonton wrap, filled with cream cheese crab meat, scallion, served with Thai chilli sauce. The filling has slightly sweet cream cheese, only only a hint of crab. It tasted good, even with the sweet chili sauce. A unique combination! The Khao Soi consists of soft & crispy egg noodles, golden curry, coconut milk, green onion crispy shallots & lime. The crispy egg noodles tasted a little stale. The Grilled Chicken was good. The Pad See-ew consists of flat rice noodle caramelized, coated in a sweet soy glaze with scallion, bean sprouts, onion, Chinese broccoli, egg, and a touch of white pepper. Funny that when the plate is served, the shrimps are hidden under the noodles. The Chicken and Shrimp were good. The Fried Banana had a crispy, but not greasy, wrap. The banana inside is like a puree. The mango ice cream is airy and not too sweet. You can choose between a strawberry or chocolate sauce. Our server was excellent. She even came to the entrance to help open the door for my mom who was using a walker. They do have some beer and wine. There is easy-listening music playing in the background. There is free WiFi; they are the first restaurant I found that uses WiFi 7!!). The restaurant is wheelchair accessible. There are separate male/female washrooms, with the female being wheelchair accessible but no door-open button. There is free parking in the mall's parking lot. There are two high chairs for little children. Review 2025-205

We started with the Crispy Krab Rangoon appetizer and loved it. For our mains, we each ordered the Khao Soi - I had it with chicken, and my wife went with tofu - and both were absolutely phenomenal! The portions were generous, and the flavours were spot on. We did, however, make the mistake of eating the Thai chili pepper that came as a garnish... definitely not recommended (even the server and kitchen staff got a good laugh out of it). Thankfully, we cooled down with a delicious mango smoothie that was as refreshing as it was tasty. Overall, we highly recommend Saigon House - great food, great service, and a spot we'll definitely be back to!

The Pad Thai was made with ketchup and not authentic ingredients such as tamarind, lemon grass and other spices so we decided not to order it. Instead we ordered the Make Your Own Vermicelli Bowl with grilled pork and chicken, Mongolian Beef and Red Curry Chicken. The Vermicelli Bowl could have used more vegetables since there pork slices were extremely thin and there was not much meat in the bowl. The curry was too thick, as if cornstarch was added. By far, the Mongolian Beef tasted the best out of the three dishes, but there was an overwhelming amount of onion compared to the beef itself so the dish looked out of proportion. The dishes were overpriced for what we received. Service was fair, considering there was only one server in the restaurant on a Friday evening seating customers, taking orders, and also cleaning up. Restaurant decor and atmosphere was simple. The back cushions in the booths were uncomfortable so we opted to sit at one of the regular tables with chairs. Overall, the most popular items ordered by customers is the Pho, so I would probably limit my menu selections.
