You can come on your own and still enjoy a great Peking duck. We were feeling greedy, so we got the combo which came with the Peking duck, fries, quackwich with two drinks. We added the popcorn duck on the side. It was a lot of fried food, however, every item was well made and delicious. The duck was great, with crispy skin and good amount of meat without being too greasy. I particularly enjoyed the duck bones, as the little bits of meat and cartilage was fun to nibble on.

I tried to get a feel when I bought a snack in person and next time time I ordered a combo version. They package things very well with dedicated packaging for all the items and condiments. The crepe are worth a special mention as they are individually separated with parchment. All the items arrived nice and warm though I live very close by. The duck itself is ok but I wasn't expecting a high end version but considering the price point I would say worth it especially if one can't get a group of people to join in. 3.5 stars

We recently reminisced about going to Bao Sandwich Bar for lunch between interviews at the University of Waterloo. I had mentioned to him that it had a second location in Mississauga, roughly a fifteen-minute drive from our workplace. He said that when we were both in the office, he'd only want to go there for lunch with me. It's nice that he trusts my judgment when it comes to eateries. I also believe that he likes my company. A couple of Wednesdays ago, he asked what I was doing for lunch. I normally hit Treats nearby. He wasn't feeling it. I said that we could go here and provided some details, including its online menu and such. I also asked him if he had any meetings. I'm that type of a planner, down to the departure time. He was game. I said that we should leave at 11:15 am. The place opens at 11:30 am. He had a meeting at 1 pm. I wanted a leisurely, unrushed lunch. Done! I drove us over there. With my lead foot, it was more like thirteen minutes, without hitting any highway. Like the Bao place in Waterloo, this one is also located on a lower level of a plaza, with a tall building at the top of this hill. I parked in front of the eatery. We walked in. We were the first customers. It looks like the place kept some of the seating from the previous business that occupied the place. The upholstery looked shabby. Otherwise, the rest of the eatery was spruced up. I got a combo consisting of these items: - Crackle belly bao - Korean garlic chicken bao - Purple flower lemonade - Dynasty duck poutine My manager got the following items: - Dynasty duck bao - Thai yum pork bao - House salad - Thai tea I took a star away because I wasn't expecting my order to be $40! It was okay for the large portion of dynastic duck poutine that I got. It was rather steep. You won't see me eating here every day. I split the poutine with my manager, so it was okay. I paid with a credit card. The transaction was smooth. It didn't take long for our food to be ready. The woman who had taken our orders was nice to bring the food to our table. I have always loved the crackle belly bao. It was equally as delicious here as it was in Waterloo. The pork belly was tasty and perfectly seasoned. The bao was nice and malleable. The veggies provided a nice contrast. I loved it. I tried the Korean garlic chicken bao. It was heavenly. The sauce was spicy and garlicky. The chicken had a crispy exterior and was juicy inside. It's nice having another decent bao to call my favourite. The purple flower lemonade was delicious. I normally don't like sweet lemonade. This version had a touch of sweetness that I enjoyed. This drink's colour was also pretty to look at. My manager enjoyed his food. He oddly doesn't like green vegetables, so I saw him pick out the cilantro and green onions. He felt that the sauces were mixed up. His Thai yum pork bao wasn't spicy. The dynasty duck that he has had in the past was oddly spicy. We had a baseline of the dynasty duck poutine that wasn't spicy to compare. Even with the sauce mix-up, he still enjoyed everything. His side salad had a bit of a spice kick, so he was happy. I loved eating here. It was a nice, casual lunch with yummy food. I wish that it were cheaper. However, the quality was excellent that I'm okay shelling out for it as someone who likely won't be dropping by weekly. (67)

This time we ordered the Burmese beef curry, shrimp pho and veggie fried spring rolls. The Burmese beef curry was actually great, perfect portion and amount of beef for $15. I asked for it to be really spicy and it was, which was very nice. My husband chose this and really enjoyed it I ordered the pho and added shrimp for a total of $15. They gave me a quart of broth, which was very nice and flavorful...and five small shrimp. They included plenty of rice noodles. The toppings could've been more generous. I only got one sprig of mint and I could barely find the green onions or cilantro, literally. Plenty of bean sprouts, tho. The included hot sauce is delicious. The vegetable spring rolls were ok..I wish they had more veggie filling, they were pretty empty. At $6 for three, I don't think they're worth $2 each. All in all, it was a pretty good experience. We'll probably try more of the menu at some point.

It's honestly the best I've had so far in Buffalo (in my opinion) very favorable . The crab ragoon egg rolls, edamame and tempura shrimp are our favorite appetizers . All very fresh and delicious. The price is amazing. When we order it's usually no more that 30 , and there's always left overs for lunch . I definitely recommend. It can be for lunch or dinner and they have such a variety to order from. Get yours today!

I noticed a lot of Western restaurants lately are adding Asian elements to their menus. Some places I've liked before, like Joey, have a lot of Asian influence now, which doesn't always work. But at Lee, the combination of tacos and spring rolls actually works really well. The salmon is incredibly tender and flavorful too. Overall, a very pleasant dining experience.

Every table was occupied when I arrived, and I was happy to chill out by the bar and look over the cocktail menu. Cool that they had a drink called Shanghai 75 since my friend was from there, bonus! The menu selections were expertly picked, of course, and gave a good sense of the theme of this Asian fusion food and how the chef thinks. Take a look at my pictures and set your sights on another 'Licious coming up for one of these fun events. Think of 'Licious as much more bold and light hearted way to enjoy some of Toronto's finest restaurants and see how well they work under pressure, which make these so popular and so much fun!
