We discovered this restaurant on the way home from Santa Rosa, Florida summer of 2020. My other cousin went to Phenix City, Alabama to go clamming so I told our crew lets go clamming on the way home! :D They said they were hungry and wanted to go eat first. It was during the pandemic so I called all the restaurants first to see if they were open. When I called here Ricky picked up and I asked if he could accommodate 14 people. He said yes and asked if we knew what we wanted to eat so they could precook it and have it ready. He also asked how far were we so that he could close down the restaurant for us. I was like Ooooh!!! #VIP So we get to the restaurant and it surely was JUST US in there :) He told us him and his wife just opened and that it was just them working. She's the cook and he runs everything in the front. So we had to be patient. Ok.. No problem...! Fast forward- We didn't go clamming that day :/ But, we did come down the next weekend to go clamming :D and ofcourse we came back here to eat :) Again it was 14 of us. He closed the restaurant down for us #VIP and we chilled and ate. The reason I love coming here is because 1. SHE COULD COOK! 2. SHE COOKS IT AUTHENTICALLY!! 3. If we ask for spicy she makes it SPICY!!! 4. She has stuff on the menu that regular Thai restaurants don't have. 5. I love mom n pops type shops. 6. They treat us like family/friends. 7. We feel comfortable here 0:) Ok, on to the dishes... My absolute favorite is the Mango Salad. She makes it spicy and sour for me, it has dried shrimp and cashews which are my favs in a spicy mango salad, and on a hot Georgia day thats the most refreshing! I think the 2nd time I ordered 2 ':) We came here last Friday 8-13-21 and dropped by before we went clamming. I didn't call ahead when we were done but thats ok because me and Kayla didn't have nothing to do anyways so we chilled around.. They were pretty busy being a Friday night. When we finally sat down we ordered a Thum platter, Chicken feet salad, salt n pepper shrimp, and 4 fried eggs. Oh My God the Thum platter was soooooooooo effin' good! It was SPICY AF! Like, she made it PERFECT! It was spicy, sour, lil sweet, and FULL OF JUICE on the bottom! Like, we were dipping our rice in the juice!! Slurrrrrping the juice!!! It was soooooo freakin' spicy but do ya'll think we stopped to care? Nope!! We sat there, snot dripping, sweating, tongue hanging out just grubbin'!! That sh!t was soooooo effin' good!!! So, I bought the wrong mango so she couldn't make the mango salad but thats ok because she sliced some up and we threw it in the thum platter anyways! We sure did!! The salt n pepper shrimp was BOMB too! Our mouths was already burning from the spice and now our fat asses couldn't wait so we burned it more w the hotness from the snp shrimp! The garlic and seasoning on there Oh My God..! The chicken feet salad was good but came out last so our stomach was already burning thru the linings. Oh yeaaaa I forgot the eggs. HAD to have fried eggs! Those were fried to perfection! Threw sum jeow on there, crispy on the outside, runny on the inside PERFECT! They also gave us Saikoo which is stuffed tapioca balls but we were soooo full and stomach boiling we only ate 1 each. But now that I know she has that we'll def order it next time! Oh, they gave us a Thai Tea too. Honestly I don't really do Thai Tea but I kid u not... this Thai Tea was like a mix of Thai Tea and Thai Coffee! AMAZING!!! I've never had a mixture like that before! We shoulda got a refill but like I said, we were sooooo full :X As long as they're open I will always come support them. And every time we come clamming or passing thru from the Pan Handle I will ALWAYS drop by. Hell I would drive 2 hours down here just to eat to be honest :D I love this restaurant, love them, and I'm so happy that they're succeeding. Hands down, BEST Thai restaurant in Columbus, Georgia. Absolutely the best Thai food I have ever eaten. Its a small place and the owner was right there waiting tables. My wife had the pineapple chicken fried rice and loved it. She isn't a fan of thai food but paid it the ultimate complement when she said it was to good to put soy sauce on. I asked the owner to suprise me with what they cook best. I was overwhelmed the the complexity of the flavors, fresh veggies and how every taste bud in my mouth was tasting something different at the same time. Again to good for soy sauce. We now have a new favorite place to go and the owner told us after we try everything on the menu he still has some tricks up his sleeve. The food here is amazing. This is a small family restaurant with wonderful flavor profiles. I brought my family with me, including my sister who is a chef and we thoroughly loved it. I took a chance and ordered it via delivery. It was SO GOOD. Even being delivery it was crunchy and well seasoned and just enough spice. It came with a huge portion of rice too. First time here but second time trying Thai food in general. My first dish was Drunken Noodles from another restaurant here which I love! I wanted to try this place out and get a different dish. I saw great reviews online so I decided to stop by for lunch because I was in the area. Luckily they weren't busy so I was able to just walk right on in and be seated. The restaurant is small but cozy and very well kept. Even the bathroom was tidy. The guy serving everyone was super friendly and attentive. I'm not sure if he was the owner or not as I've seen great reviews about the owner being awesome too. I ordered crab ragoons, chicken & shrimp Pad Thai and a Thai Iced Tea. First thing I tried was that Iced Tea and mannnn 100/10! Best iced tea I've ever had and I LOVEE iced tea! The crab ragoons came out first. 8.5/10! Very good filling and cooked to perfection. The sauce was an added touch. Only thing that would've made it a 10 was how they're wrapped. The super crunchy part is at the top which makes it hard to get it all in one bite. I found myself having to eat the top part by itself. Then came the Pad Thai. Again, this was my first time. I like they put the peanut mixture to the side. I'm not a big fan of peanuts in dishes. But overall it's was good! Next time I'm going to stick with one protein instead of two. But I'll give it an 8/10. I liked Drunk Noodles better, but again haven't tried it from this particular restaurant. I plan to get that in the near future. I spent $43 overall which is a bit pricey but worth every penny!
