I have my reasons for giving it 3 stars.. the food tastes good, all the staff are nice and it's a nice cozy little restaurant.. but there was no wow factor for me.. don't get me wrong, I'll go again if I'm invited and also I'll tell people the food is nice if I'm asked.. but I wouldn't have my birthday meal there.
We got the shared platter to start with.. there was a spring roll, a fish cake, some chicken on a stick and a wanton each with three dips.. it tasted alright.. then for mains I got mixed seafood in chilli oil and our lass got a Thai red curry and we shared a jasmine rice.. the mains tasted alright too, the red curry was very coconutty (that's not even a word but you know what I mean) and also it was mild to say it was one of the hottest curries on the menu. We also got three bottles of beer at £2.70 each.
If you go to the website before you go, you can get a voucher for buy one starter and get one free.. and you can use it on a mixed platter to share for two.. in all it came to £35.05, which was quite cheap compared to others. It deserves more that 3 stars but it's not quite 4 for me.. and you can't put 3.5 on here, at some point I'll probably be going back though. read more
