The wine list is great, with some succulent reds and very refreshing roses. The quality of food here is unsurpassed for miles and miles around, and is not let down by the service which is both quick and with a smile. They also do more 'traditional' style Thai food from, I believe, the north of the country, which is much more communal and involves everyone paying a chunk for the food, much like a set menu. There is a special area of the restaurant given over to this style of dining - where everyone sits on cushions on the floor around large round tables - and for ages I have been dying to try it out! The rest of us had the carvery, you could have as much as you wanted of a good selection of veg and three meats. It's easy for places like this to over cook the veg but everything I had still had a little bit of crunch to it. The pudding we had was amazing! I can't tell you how much self control it took to not order another one! In case you were wondering... It was the Belgium chocolate truffle! It's worth mentioning that they also serve Thai food which I hear is very good although I haven't tried it myself yet. I went with 10 people last week on a work night out, and everyone really enjoyed their meals. The food is freshly cooked with lots of healthy ingredients and the presentation is lovely.
