What a gem! While staying in North Conway we were glad to see there was a Thai restaurant within walking distance of our hotel. Thai Nakornping did not disappoint! The staff were friendly and gracious, and the food came out quickly and was very flavorful. My husband got beef pad Thai (his standard at all Thai restaurants) and I was able to sneak a bite - the sauce was flavorful and not too spicy (although he did have the option to order spicy if he wanted). I ordered the papaya salad which was fresh and crisp, and I could also choose my level of spiciness. The decor and ambience is very cozy with a lot of ethnic art and artifacts on the wall. There is a small private parking lot.

It's very cozy inside and clean and the absolute best staff! Very sweet and helpful. I had the Rangoon's for an appetizer and they were phenomenal! And the curry was absolutely amazing. Hands down I would recommend and definitely come back.

Cashews with chicken and white rice

Just a nice experience all around December 2024 We stopped in here yesterday, as we had eaten here before awhile back. We both forgot how good both the selections and the meals were. We had the Pad Thai and the Cashew Chicken. As we were there at an off hour, we were surprised at how quickly our order came. We were both surprised and smiled when we saw our white rice was shaped in a heart. After eating lunch, we felt it was made with love and this will now be our go to for Thai food.

Starting with the slightly spicy, delicious Chicken Tom Kha Soup, we thoroughly enjoyed our dining here the other night. The soup was just soothing to our tastes and a great preface to dinner that included Chicken Massaman Curry, medium spiced, flavorful and my goodness, plenteous in the very large serving. There were other delightful dishes we didn't order, making it certain that we would be returning. Our host couldn't have been nicer, and the service was quick and friendly. Prices are what we'd call friendly: the soup was $6.95 and curry dish $15.95. The appetizers range from $7-10 and there are plenty of dinner choices under $20. We like it; we'd give it five stars but are a little hesitant based on just our one visit.

It was a busy Tuesday night, after the train tour I was starving. So I ordered a Pad Thai Spicy thin noodle, beef fried rice and some steam veggies. The restaurant is cozy, everything was delicious and tasty. The portion was huge lol. Staffs were friendly even though there was only 3 employees in the whole restaurant. I Recommend this place for everyone who gonna visit Conway, New Hampshire in the future. You wont be disappointed. Trust me.

Sticky rice with mango - dessert

The Chicken Satay pieces were bigger than any other place and was very good. The Spicy Pad Thai was delicious and flavorful. Enjoyed the Massaman curry. For dessert, tried the sticky rice with Mango. The mango was ripe and was perfect. The service was very good and accommodating. The outside sign said "home mad food" and I was not disappointed.

Good portion size on the food here and also good flavor! Chicken Satay - really big skewers with a lot of chicken and amazing Thai peanut sauce on the side! Pad Prik Pao Chicken - I asked for mild because the dish was meant to be spicy overall and I think it was just a good amount of spicy. Not super spicy even with the mild version. Good amount of chicken in there as well and vegetables to balance. Green Curry Chicken Fried Rice - really surprising and good one here! I love the green curry flavor that was there on the rice but somehow my brother was not as big a fan. Added some other spicy sauce to it to make it work but I loved it all the same. Definitely appreciate the amount of broccoli in there! Prik King Chicken- Another really good curry. Chicken and vegetables to balance and a good flavor of the curry as well. Rice on the side was also quite an abundance! Probably lasted a good 2 days, haha.

Decent Thai restaurant operated by a very nice family. They offer good cocktails, beer, and wine. They don't ask how spicy to make the dishes and fortunately they were mild enough for our palette. Nice to have something other than pizza and burgers in Conway.

Mixed seafood ginger quick stir fry with jasmine rice

This restaurant is a hidden gem in the White Mountains. It offers authentic Thai cuisine, extremely fresh ingredients, and large portions at very reasonable prices. The mixed seafood in ginger sauce was piquant, well presented and absolutely delicious. The chive vegetarian dumplings were loaded with spinach and chive, a unique dumpling in my limited experience. The Thai salad was a meal unto itself.

Chicken panang curry

We were craving Thai food and were starving. This was the only restaurant close to us at that time that was open for dine-in. I guess it was due to the pandemic, and the limit on number of people indoors, that others were closed. Nevertheless, the people here were warm and courteous. We got the chicken panang curry and the seafood combo drunken noodles. Both tasted really good. However, I guess they flipped the spice levels for the two dishes we asked. Nevertheless that didn't matter because we were just two people and were splitting the dishes into half anyways. Good place to stop by for a quick lunch when in town.

The sushi stand in the front. We were greeted at the bar and given water and menus right away. Loved the prompt service, the ambiance, the art on the walls. Enough lighting for a restaurant/bar. The menu was interesting and had sushi, fish, a wagyu burger, some really fun drinks and more. We split some dumplings, a roll, and got individual meals. We got our dumplings rather quickly but then waited an hour for the rest of our food. It was really busy, and they had staff, but I feel like it would not ever normally be this busy. But they were so nice about it. And we were not in a rush, so it works out just fine. Our roll was off - and it turned out we got the wrong one. But they were apologetic and again it was really busy. But when the entre came out - wow. I got a Ongiri with Haddock and some crispy onions on top - it was fantastic. My husband had a bowl of ramen that he said needed a little salt. But it was good, service as fantastic, and I would definitely want to come back when they are not busy to try the food and service again. I am sure it will be great.

Have been wanting to try Nilfa's for a while now, I have been following them on social media and their specials were just so appealing and how I gained insight into their Filipino Offerings! Be sure to give them a follow on Facebook. We had the following: Lumpia - a regular menu item. They were delicious!!! Pork dumplings - a regular menu item. They were good, the wrappers were thicker than we were used to. I loved the flavor. Chicken Adobo - delicious, a little different than we make it, but it was delicious Chicken Sisig - Amazing that it is served in the traditional cast iron - sizzling. The egg and the mayo drizzle. I loved it!!! We couldn't resist the dessert case and bought two items to go. We were too full to eat them right away. We bought: Carrot Cake - Dense and delicious! Tres Leches - Moist and delicious! Menu options - a lot of variety, from breakfast, to american foods, like grilled cheese, cheeseburgers, Thai Food, eggplant parm, spaghetti and meatballs, and salads. I feel like there is something for everyone. There were a few tables, most seats are booths. Beverages - most are bottles and cans that you can see in the cooler to the left of the register, coffee, tea etc. I believe they have drink specials as well. Staff was so kind and attentive. They were very patient with the variety of guests that came in, many tourists, who had a lot of questions about the food offered. I definitely recommend this local business. I cannot wait to return the next time I am in the area.

The pad thai was the worst I've had, and I've had quite a few..I think it has ketchup in the sauce :( Speaking of ketchup, that's the sauce that came with my "chicken fingers".. which were not chicken fingers, they appeared to be two cut up Tyson patties (in strips). Just really odd overall and not very good. The main chicken dishes had those funky pieces of chicken meat that you can't swallow. The crispy roll and sushi roll were ok. On a positive note, the people are friendly. Maybe you need to know what's good here and it would be worth it..but we did not experience any of those items unfortunately. I don't know if we'll try them again.

A true Lakes Region gem -- don't let the location fool you!…read moreLemongrass may be tucked off the main road in Moultonborough, but it's an absolute classic in the area and one of those places we always make a point to visit when we're in New Hampshire. It's not flashy -- the décor is a bit dated -- but the food? Utterly fantastic. Owners Luncky and Wu clearly put their hearts into every dish, and it shows. The quality, care, and consistency here are rare to find. One of my personal favorites is the seared ahi tuna from the appetizer menu -- it's so good, I usually have to order two because one just isn't enough for our family! The fish of the day, often featuring haddock, is another highlight -- light, flavorful, and expertly prepared every time. My husband swears by the seafood curry, which is rich, fragrant, and packed with flavor. The service is just as impressive as the food. Their bartender, Cristine, is a local legend -- she's known my in-laws for decades and still remembers exactly how my mother-in-law likes her Blue Orchid cocktail. No need to order -- it just appears, perfectly made. That kind of personal touch is what makes Lemongrass feel so special. And don't skip dessert -- the white chocolate crème brûlée is a standout. You won't find that just anywhere, and it's absolutely worth saving room for. Lemongrass is more than a restaurant -- it's a beloved part of our Lakes Region tradition, and we can't imagine a trip to NH without it.
