After that, she just worked on my body and let me blissfully zone out. Later, I found out that Iliana is the massage therapist that lots of people request, so if you want a wonderful massage, this is the woman to seek out. The only thing I would have changed: I wish she worked on my glutes a little more! I probably should have told her to go for it, but I was too busy being in that peaceful, liminal space that a great massage puts you in, so I just let it go. In general, I feel like Woodhouse Spa is visited by people who don't get massages regularly, or at all, so perhaps the massage therapists focus more on neutral areas, like the back, neck, legs and arms. Which is fine and understandable. But I've been getting regular massages for a long time, so to me, glutes are a must. I'm fortunate to have a transcendental, all-of-the-superlatives massage therapist who I see regularly, but if I were to visit Woodhouse Spa on a regular basis and see Iliana, I would definitely make it a point to tell her: "Andale pues!" One of the reasons you visit a Woodhouse Spa location is for the facilities. This is a place where you spend at least an hour or two luxuriating under the waterfall showers, contemplating life in the wet and dry sauna, and hanging out in the dark sitting room with a glass of wine or cucumber-infused water. Unfortunately, I didn't get to do any of those fun and relaxing things because I had a busy agenda that day; I barely had time to drink a glass of water in the waiting room before my massage, and then I had to split shortly after. But for everyone else: Do yourself a favor and block off a chunk of time to just spend time futzing around the spa area. It's a nice spa, and you will enjoy yourself if you give yourself enough time.

My appointment was for a VIP massage with their Milbon products. it was a two hour treatment that started with an assessment of my scalp the best procedure to move forward with as far as products and then a scalp massage and of course multiple hair washes. I was 100% satisfied and can tell you I was not disappointed. It's a very relaxing experience very spa in atmosphere and my technician Christen was exceptional. There are three different treatments you can pick from but I highly recommend the VIP. It was $250 and worth every penny the salon is conveniently located off Illinois Road in Fort Wayne. I drove an hour and a half and we do it again.

I walk in and they don't have me scheduled for today but Thursday. Aggravated I told them I couldn't come and asked if they had anyone else. There is someone coming in at 3:30 that will do it besides my regular stylist. While I am not upset and they were accommodating I did get a free eye brow waxing upon Yelp check in so I'm getting that done before my haircut. So I can say they did what they could to accommodate my needs and made one client happy. Thankful for that. He was very nice and calm and took care of me properly In my opinion.
