Peanut Delight
Rakshak R.

Food was okay, service was very friendly and accommodating! The peanut delight with tofu was nothing too special, as it was heavy on the peanut butter flavor and lacked some depth. The spice levels are also considerably lower than other thai places, so order 1-2 levels higher. Worth checking out to see if it fits your palate, as prices are reasonable. Nice cozy interior.

chicken Pad Thai with spicy fish sauce
Shelby P.

Honestly really great pad Thai. Very Unique i have never had purple onions in my pad Thai before. Great price. Additionally they had MY sauces, I will not go to any Thai restaurant that does not have spicy fish sauce. Really great service considering there was only a 1 chief and 1 waitress. The reason why i only have a 4 star, is due to the dust on walls and round air vents. it's time for a cleaning i must say.

Fish Cakes

A decent halal option, but over all a lot of the dishes were on the sweeter side for some reason. We did like the fish cakes, papaya salad, fried chicken and rice dishes. The pad thai was very sweet, as was the panang curry. We were the only party in there for a while but food took quite a bit of time to come out.

Kaow Soi Noodle Soup (House Signature Soup)

I really don't know what's with all the negative reviews because this place is great! (On Google they have a 4.1 rating, so probably just no one leaves Yelp reviews anymore.) I don't eat Thai often, but when I do, this place is my go-to. Recently, I thought they had changed because the Google info is wrong and it sometimes shows a different name, Zaap Lao Street Eats or something, and I was so disappointed thinking they had closed and been replaced. Fortunately, it's just misinformation as they offer a house curry noodle soup that I have never been able to find on a menu at another Thai restaurant that is out of this world! It's thick, flavorful, and filling; I'm salivating, just thinking of it! And can never eat the whole thing in one sitting but it reheats just as well. My daughter loves the yellow curry with chicken which I agree is delicious, and we also usually order an assortment of appetizers. During lunch hours, they offer Thai Bento boxes where you can choose an assortment of different curries and noodle entrées to order from, and various other lunch specials. Sometimes they have other promos as well that aren't only dinner, like today I noticed 2-for-1 on certain entrees, which I have never seen before and I'm guessing that will only be a short time offering. Regardless, their prices are extremely reasonable. Perhaps, people don't like the darker, authentic, unmodernized ambience, but I think that's just part of its charm. Also, while the wait time to get food is usually minimal, and I feel like pick up orders are prepared quickly, the last time I visited service was fast but food prep was kind of slow. We were dining-in at dinner time and still in and out in under an hour though. I have traveled extensively and eaten in hundreds of restaurants and really feel like this place offers great food. They have an extensive menu, offer items that I've never seen elsewhere, are very reasonably priced especially if you go at lunch, and have always offered good service. I love this little longstanding hometown hole-in-the wall!

Khao Man Gai limited time offer

Ordered 4 Khao Man Kai. The chicken was old/dark color with some greenish undertones. It did not smell right. The ginger dipping sauce was diluted, looked like just soy sauce and chili pepper. The rice was dry. The cucumber and cilantro were old. The whole order looked depressing and was inedible.

Pad Thai

The phad thai I ordered to go was so horrible I just threw it out. It's listed as Zaap Kitchen on apple maps and they confirmed that on the phone. The pad thai is dry and has no flavor.

Excellent food and customer service. Try their crispy duck fried rice and chicken wings. Best part is that their meat is halal!

Tande Craft Kitchen & Cocktails has such a fun atmosphere! We came for dinner and everyone ordered…read moresomething different, which was perfect because we got to try a little bit of everything. I had the tofu, while my friends ordered the green beef curry and the pad see ew. We also shared several appetizers, including the prawns, chicken wings, ribs, lettuce cups, and papaya salad. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. There honestly wasn't a dish we didn't enjoy. The drinks were just as impressive. We tried the Espresso Thai-tini, the Butterfly drink, and the Thai milk tea, and each one was delicious. Whether you prefer cocktails or something non-alcoholic, there are some great options on the menu. The ambiance was one of my favorite parts of the night. There was live music outside that added so much to the overall vibe, making it a great place to relax and catch up with friends. Ethan was our server, and he was phenomenal--friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Between the delicious food, amazing drinks, great service, and lively atmosphere, I'd definitely come back.

It was unfortunately lacking in steak and the amount it did have was mostly fat. The rest of the salad was composed of mainly lettuce drenched in dressing. For $23 that was really disappointing. I would've left hungry had it not been for my son's leftovers. Therefore I would skip it. Especially when for $25 I can get a steak salad at 7 doors with actual pieces of steak. Otherwise, I am willing to come here again and try another dish! The lettuce wraps appetizer and chicken curry were yummy!

My wife and I went for lunch today around 1pm for our first visit…read more Atmosphere: nice, quiet for Saturday at 1pm, we were a second table. Then two to four tables occupied during our visit. Food: We ordered large tom yum shrimp soup to share, Sakhuu white pad Thai with beef and pad kee mao with tofu. Spice level 3 for all. Order of food received at the table: pad kee Mao, tom yum soup then pad thai Wife ranked the tom yum to be the best so far that we have tried in the Dallas area. We didn't enjoy it as much as pad kee mao. We should have tried the traditional Pad Thai. We wouldn't order the Sakhuu white pad Thai again. Service: this is where we were disappointed. Started off good by getting seated, received glass of water with lemon slice without ice. Order was taken and as the food was served and dropped off there was no follow up to ask how the food was. Not even once. We had to ask another employee for our check only to see 18% gratuity included in the check. I expect automatic inclusion of gratuity for larger groups and don't have any problem with even higher percentage gratuity, but not for a two top with a sub par service. Very disappointed. Although food was above average, the lack of service received and automatic inclusion of 18% gratuity just left a very bad experience for us. We won't be back...atleast not this location.

4.7/5 The Phuket…read moreisland surprised me! It was pretty much a fish curry but I actually really liked it. Flavor was great and loved the coconut taste. I didn't enjoy the drunken noodles as much, they could've been a bit spicier and more flavorful. The sweet and savory flavor of the crispy basil pork belly was excellent but pork belly could've been crispier. The lard duck salad was also another fav. Good service, our waitress was sweet. Pretty spacious inside.
