Pros: Pad Thai is my go to dish. Always fresh and delicious. It's a bit off Main so it is usually not too busy. Have always had polite and helpful service. Cons: still use styrofoam for to go stuff. Also, it feels a bit like you're in an office building. Overall, definitely check this place out. This place is truly amazing! I had the best Tom Yum soup that I've ever had from Thai Kitchen. My friends agreed that the Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles were also extremely tasty. One of my friends said the crunchy spring roll was the best he had ever had. We agreed, stumbling on this place was awesome! The portions are big and their prices are very fair. This place is delicious! A little tricky to find.. it's just off Main Ave next to the train tracks. The service was super quick and friendly, and the food was great. Our Panang Curry was very hot. We ordered it Hot and it was more like a Very Hot. The Pad See Eaw is made with thin rice noodles. Still absolutely delicious. We will come here again on our next visit to Durango. read more

My wife and I have been eating Thai food for 40+ years. We know the cuisine. We know what mild and hot mean. Our recent to go order was soooo spicy (hot) that my husband vomited violently after two bites and I could not finish more than 3-4 bites. We called to report this to the restaurant and were told "too bad, Americans don't understand Thai food". Yes we do! And the food was so spicy it couldn't be consumed. No offers of refund or apology were offered. Just rude, dismissive words from the store owner. Beware of this restaurant; it's not about catering to or pleasing the customer; rather it's all about profit and rudeness to the customer. Worst restaurant in Durango!!!! read more

The food is literally the best Thai food have eaten in years. We were looking for a restaurant for lunch during our day in Durango. I highly recommend this place. I had the chicken fried rice and this iced tea. The iced tea was actually very good, sweet, cold and delicious. The chicken seemed like it was of low quality, perhaps thighs/dark meat vs a juicy, marinated style. It should be a pretty easy dish since it is so common but I suspect the owners/cooks are not as experienced as many other Thai places. It just seemed like they needed more experience and higher quality ingredients, but maybe I just ordered the wrong thing or I am spoiled by other, better Thai restaurants. read more

First time, which was a great one, my waiter really made the experience, he was an excellent listener, checked on us at all the right times, and great jokes. The food here was really good! My husband got the Pad Kee Mow and I got the Pad Thai, and both were great. The Pad Thai had almost a sweet taste to it, and the portion sizes were great for the price. Excellent! The four of us ordered various curries and Pad Thai and we all loved our dishes. Beware of what spiciness you order. I got mild and it had quite a kick. One persons medium was more like hot. Tourists should step it down a notch to be careful, as we hear this is the norm for the area. Great service. We will be back! The food is great (I'd give it an A-), but the overall experience is pretty poor. I want this place to succeed, but I fear it will not because they can't keep orders straight (2 tables had orders wrong while we were there). Also, we were given bottled soda instead of from a fountain. And they were out of clean glasses, so be prepared to drink from a soda bottle at the table. I have no problem with this, but be warned that there are some kinks this place neeeds to work out. Medium seems very hot to me, but that's entirely subjective. read more

Never judge a restaurant by it's cover, or it's yelp reviews. I can't understand all the negative comments about this place. I frequent it, and it's wonderful. The best part is when I am ordering takeout. Whenever I call, my order is ready within 5 minutes. This is a stark difference to another popular Thai restaurant in town. I prefer their pad Thai. Very good Thai for a town as small as Durango. Complimentary tea was a nice touch to begin. Poor man's beef as an appetizer was seasoned well and not too dry. I had the padkeemow which was delicious, but sweeter than expected and my girlfriend had the pad see eaew. Hers was fantastic, not the best I've ever had, but definitely hit the spot. Mexicans cooking Thai food? Really....?? I saw the cook at City Market buying up ALL the Habanero peppers, literally! Pretty sure that is not authentic Thai spices.. Unless Thai people emigrated from South America.. Which they didn't. Chicken in curry was gross.. Chicken was tough, not organic, lacking curry, lacking coconut milk, NOT lacking Habanero!
