I always get the Pad Woon Sen with tofu, and basil eggplant with tofu (I love tofu, alright?) Their dishes usually satisfy any Thai craving I have, and their Thai tea drink isn't bad at all either. Nothing really to particularly write home about, but definitely no complaints about the food. In fact I think I should've probably kept this place more of a secret because their wait times for food and how many times I need to call to actually get through has gone craaazy since COVID, and trust me, it wasn't good even before COVID. So honestly, 25% of the time, even if I really wanted Thai food, I'll just give up after trying to call 2-3 times to place the order. That's my biggest complaint. Saturday evening around 4:30, the wife decides were having a date night. So we leave the house and head towards Texas Road House for a steak dinner. As we approach the restaurant heading West on Grant Line Road, I can already see this ain't happening. Being the affable one she is, the wife calls inside to ask how long the wait time is for two. After being told its 45 to a 60 minute wait, she pulls out the phone and starts looking though Yelp pages. When she suggested Thai Jasmine, I gave the head nod for okay and we headed downtown Tracy. We arrived and had the place to ourselves which was short lived. We chose our table and were handed menus to look over after our drink orders were taken. I thought the menu was basic and short but, after looking at some of the yelp reviews and pictures posted by John L., I sensed they could prepare what your mind could create. And after talking to our host (wish I got his name because he's great), that thought was affirmed. Between the wife and I, we selected three appetizers; Satay, Calamari and Springs Rolls. For the main courses, I went with #37, "Gra Prow Seafood with brown rice and the wife decided on the #13, the Salad Gai. Side note. When asked how hot I wanted my dish, I suggested medium. I told our host I wanted to taste my food on the first go around. Our appetizers were up within 10 minutes and our main dishes followed shortly behind. My dish was great with lots of sauce but, about half way though, I asked for the chili powder. I needed it just a bit hotter. Of course after my wife tried my sauces, she said it nearly burned her lips off. This was before adding the extra hot. I'd have to say the winner today was the Satay. I've never experienced those flavored before. The chicken was BBQ grilled and it had a smokey taste. This restaurant was a hit with both my wife and I and I know we'll return soon. read more

Food was awful ! The veggies were not cooked well in Tom yum soup, pad noodles was drenched in spicy red chilli. The fried rice had just uncooked beans and fried tofu ( which didn't feel fresh at all) it could be probably because we came in 1 hr before close but I walked out feeing disappointed and have a bad tummy ache from the red chilli in the pad noodles. Wow, just..wow. Came here for a birthday dinner because I had a craving for pad thai. We ended up getting fresh rolls (5 stars! the peanut sauce was soo good), vegetarian pad thai with fried tofu (we got it medium spicy and it hit the spot! also 5 stars) and basil spicy fried rice (which was spicy lol 5 stars as well!) All the food we got was surprisingly really good and I'm glad we chose those things. AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE AND GREAT FOOD!!!! Went to lunch with my 13mo, and if you have kids, you already know how difficult that can be at times. Ordered food, and the server asked if I wanted sliced apples or avocados for my son to snack on. I was shocked because no one ever pays attention to my son, let alone do they ask if he'd like something to eat. I truly appreciated the respect for my son's needs. So I asked for apples, and the server brought out a small bowl of bite sized apples for him. So happy and impressed with that!!! Not to mention the food was fresh, healthy and soooo good!!! My mom and I ordered the vegetarian fried rice and vegetarian pad see ew, both with no egg to make it vegan. The pad see ew was kind of sweet (I prefer savory) but I substituted the meat for tofu which was awesome. The fried rice was delicious, much better than the last time I had it. Was told the chicken supply ran out and they were cooking up some more. Was delivered 10 minutes later(6:05). Owner said he had a lot of phone orders. They do not have the same mild food as other Thai restaurants, so don't order spicy unless you really want some heat!! I've had many dishes here, both dine in and take out. My bf really wanted to try this place out, it was really packed when we came today but luckily after few minutes a table opened up and they cleaned it right away. Their menu doesn't have much but luckily I got their paper menu from their front door which gave us more option. We ordered the Thai Bbq Pork, Pork Fried rice and Shrimp Pad Thai, the prices were fair and not too pricey. We really enjoyed the Thai BBQ pork and Fried rice. They were packed with lots of flavors! We'll have to come back again for those two dish :) UPDATE: 12/8/18 Went back to eat here and as usual it's very busy that it was basically full with just a two seater table open. So lucky that a nice couple had moved so my part of 3 can sit and enjoy dinner. I had their pad thai but this time I asked for medium. The owner was very helpful with the amount of spice, he actually said to try the mild first. With the first bite of the pad thai.... wow, the spice was just right. Pra Ram Long Song is my favorite and the deep fried spring rolls with peanut sweet & sour sauce are great. Salad Gai is also a favorite. And the Thai BBQ Pork was delicious too. The food is very good however....what horrible customer service. You can call this restaurant as soon as they open and they will not answer there phone. I gave up calling today and went in to place the order only to here the phone ringing off the hook. I asked why they don't answer the phone and she said because we are too busy. I said you are losing business and she responded no....people are still coming in. I said no matter how you cut the cake you are still losing business. I had to get the last word.
