Thai House is a gem of a find in Eureka Springs! Delicious, authentic Thai, in a cozy decorated dining room with delightful service. The veggie tempura appetizer was perfect along with the tangy citrus sauce served alongside it. I'm still dreaming about the Mango Curry. Hubby's Green Curry looked great too. I got spice level 2 and would describe it as "mild." Hubby went all the way - spice level 5 - and said he would still consider it "medium." Parking for Thai House is awful BUT the food is worth the hassle. I don't think I have ever had anything that wasn't delicious here. The peanut sauce especially is fantastic. The wait staff is hit or miss. Last night we got take out from the most wonderful lady named Pam. She was new but really wonderful customer service and helpful. I hope she's a long term employee! We were hoping for a nice place to eat and relax after our ling drive to EurekaSprings and this fit the bill. They have indoor and outdoor seating. It was a beautiful evening so we opted for the outdoor patio. It was comfortable well lit and welcoming. The staff was so nice and attentive. He took our order and brought it out in perfect timing. We had our appetizer 1st and just as we had finished her appetizer our entrees were brought out. We got the vegetable sampler for the appetizer and it was so delicious. There is only two of us but I'm pretty sure it is meant for four, but it was so good we almost ate all of it. I got the pineapple curry and it was the best pineapple curry I have ever had. It was right on in spicy and sweet. And a served in a fun little pineapple making it even taste year. My hubby got the drunken noodles and he said it was good but not the best he's mad. It started to rain and when we started to pick up our things the owner came out and helped us and had a table ready for us inside. They have a garden where they grow many of their spices. Again everyone was so attentive, food was delicious and the atmosphere enjoyable. We both enjoyed our experience here and would definitely come back. read more

Didnt care much for the options on the kids menu so ordered the teriyaki salmon (hold the teriyaki sauce) which was more than enough for the kids to share plus some! Winners: Thai tea, Thai coffee, tom yum soup, lemongrass lunch special ( tofu was perfect!) mediocre: pad Thai and drunken noodles. Was really wanting Pho, so we went here We got the fresh spring rolls and the crab Rangoon for appetizers and they where amazing. One of the best crab Rangoon I have ever had. I ordered the pho and it was pretty good but not the best I had, I had to add all of the vegetables because none came in it. My husband and son had the orange chicken which was good but have had better, but it was still very good . I recommend eating here and we will be going back! read more

After six meals of average to mediocre fried food during our trip, Thai House restaurant was a surprising gem. Honestly, we had very low expectations from a Thai restaurant in Eureka Springs Arkansas but we were so incredibly wrong. Soup number one was very reminiscent of a Vietnamese Pho. So far, this little Thai restaurant has been our favorite place to eat. We have a few more days and it's highly likely that we will return. If you're looking for incredibly fresh and well prepared food that is not just traditional southern fried fare, I highly recommend. We had Pho and coconut ice cream with fresh mango for dessert. YUM! First time there. Tried to order food to go, was ignored at the counter by everyone. Finally went to my car to place order. Got the Garlic shrimp entree, and the flavor was lacking. Fried spring rolls were very greasy, small and expensive. The noodle soup had a very good broth, but the service was very small for $13.00 soup. Excellent food! We had appetizers (fresh spring rolls with shrimp and also coconut shrimp) which were very good. Husband had a yellow curry with shrimp & scallops. I had avocado curry with shrimp and udon noodles. Both were excellent. We like spicy food but just ordered 3-star (medium) spicy--which was very flavorful with a small kick. Servings are a reasonably good size so we took our leftovers. Nice atmosphere. Parking a bit sparse for those of us who drive trucks so plan accordingly. Good serving staff. Two entrees plus two appetizers resulted in about $60 price--which is acceptable for the quality and quantity but above what we would typically pay for dining out. We dined in the evening but I think the lunch menu is more budget friendly. Overall, we are very satisfied. Recommend and we would return! read more

Our first time at this restaurant and we were not disappointed. They were somewhat busy, but we were seated quickly. Our server was friendly and attentive. We started with the Coconut Shrimp, which was delicious and served with a tasty sauce. For entrees I had the Crispy Duck Breast with veggies and my wife had the Shrimp and Scallops plate. We had the brown rice instead of the white rice. Both were served quickly and hot and delicious. For those that have never ordered Thai, you'll be asked what "heat" level you want, 1 to 5. 3 is about Jalapeno hot. They also have Thai hot and Thai hot x2. That's probably overkill. So good we had to come back twice! Hubs got the chow main noodles w/ chicken and I got the massaman curry. Noodles were just a tiny bit on the salty side but really delicious. My curry was super yummy and creamy and we had to come back for more! I would say the spice levels are pretty mild compared to what we're used to back home. Very disappointed. I love Thai food and have had it in many cities across the country so I was happy to find this place in Eureka. Service: Staff was friendly and attentive. Atmosphere: tables are squeezed in too close together but it has busy, fun lighting and decorations. Most importantly the Food: Terrible.... the drunken noodles tasted like vegetables were thrown in the sauce right before serving, flavors not married well at all, fish sauce flavor was very overpowering and peanut sauce was mediocre at best. I have spent a lot of time in Thailand, the Philippines, Japan and South Korea and have eaten Thai food all around the country. This is the worst Thai food I have ever eaten. The steamed dumplings were cold, the Pad Thai noodles were soggy, the red curry chicken was bland (level 3) and the server's thumb was in our food as he carried it out. Pineapple fried rice!!! Yes. Pineapple in the fried rice. It's amazing. My husband loved his Pad Thai and we shared the crab wontons and let me tell you I personally consider myself a expert in 2 things in life 1 being crab wontons. These crab wontons are a 8 on a scale in which a ten doesn't exist. We come to Eureka every year starting now and we will eat here every time starting now. read more

So Happy to return to ESAR and see one of my favorite cuisines has landed here! We passed by on our way to lodging, and my face just lit up! Small, cozy dining room with TV's showing menu items and other culturally significant photos. So glad to not have TV shows/news on during dinner -- it distracts from conversation. Interior really sets the atmosphere, and the inverted parasols as lights are GENIUS! Two thumbs up for comfortable dining room. Started with Chicken Satay -- wonderfully seasoned and grilled chicken served with peanut sauce. Was actually thrown off by the peanut sauce as it was more sweet than "peanutty". Really the only miss for the entire experience. I had my usual Thai iced tea, which is a delicious if you haven't tried it. Large glass, too! Ron has the Garlic & Pepper shrimp with brown rice -- he ate nearly every single, yummy morsel. The shrimp were plump and flavorful, ingredients fresh. Had zucchini and mushrooms, as well. I had scallop & shrimp pad Thai, which was amazing! Just enough heat to do a slow warming at the back of the tongue. That kind that you just keep eating because it tastes so good. Until my meal at Thai house. I would have said there is no such thing as bad Thai food. i gave 2 stars because my companion's Pad Thai was fine. The drunken noodles were completely tasteless and unrecognizable as drunken Noodles in appearance or flavor. i asked for medium spiciness and it was completely bland. I complained and was brought dried peppers which helped, but it was still peppers sprinkled on food rather than cooked properly. if you go, avoid this dish. read more

My friend and I came here for dinner after a much needed sit down from exploring the town. I had called in advance to check availability and was told that even though they were filling up, the wait usually wasn't terrible. No big deal. We headed that way. We were acknowledged by a younger woman and we told her we had two people. A couple came in behind us. I had moved away from the door to give them room. A taller, older, short red-haired woman with a sparkly face mask, saw this couple standing (that had come in after) and acknowledged them, ignored me, and told them to sit, it would be awhile. Finally we were acknowledged by this tall red haired rude woman, and she asked if we wanted a table. We said yes, if there was one available. She said "well there's not." And then told us to sit down. I could tell already she thought we had shown up after the couple she had acknowledged first. She poked her head through and told the couple that had arrived after, that a table was available. At that point, My friend spoke up and told her no, we were here first. She then argued and said "No, I believe they were here before you two" again, we said no, that's not right, and thankfully the couple told her the truth. After we were directed to our table. She slammed the utensils down and walked away. And I'm not talking a gentle placement. She slammed then down with immense attitude. It made us feel so uncomfortable with what was possibly to come next that we just left. It made this much needed girls weekend kind of a bummer. She was rude for no reason. And had the worst customer service. It was a shame because we did plan on ordering to go if a table wasn't available. I worked in the food business, and I get a rush can make you antsy.
