Thai Garden is a busy, beloved restaurant in downtown Keene. I hadn't been there in 20 years but it's still hopping! I brought my husband and he was disappointed that I had never brought him before. The food was delicious. The servers were attentive and friendly. There were a lot of regulars there that the servers were chatting with. One lady was saying she tries a different dish every time. When I was a teenager I remember being excited to get the fried ice cream here. But I didn't this time. Thai Garden is conveniently located in downtown Keene. There is street parking and it is also walking distance from municipal lots

We stopped by here for lunch, after a relaxed hike nearby. My friend mentioned that they dined here pretty regularly, so I was pretty excited for some delicious Thai food. I mean, I am never not excited for Thai food though, to be honest . . . We luckily slipped in right before there was a sudden onslaught of people started lining up - seems like this place is rather popular, which further bolstered my confidence! I tried the fresh vegetable rolls - which was okay - nothing super duper exciting. It's basically salad in a rice paper roll. I had the Basil Eggplant Tofu as my entree and I specified no fish sauce, no oyster sauce - vegan please. It arrived rather quickly and yeah, it was near perfect. There were generous fried tofu cubes and big chunks of tenderly cooked eggplant, and the sauce was surprisingly flavorful, for being vegan. Based on my experience, Thai recipes sometimes "suffer" a bit when you veganize them, but I was very glad that was not the case here! Service was prompt and attentive. The server was knowledgeable about what was vegan/could be veganized and checked on us throughout the meal. She wasn't the most quick to fill our water cups (and we were parched), although they provide rather small water cups for customers, so I'm sure this is probably just something to be patient about. Overall a lovely experience and one of the better Thai vegan dishes I've had in recent memory!

Thai garden is by far the best restaurant in Keene. The food is so good and the service is outstanding. The food comes so quick and they servers are so nice.

Vegetable Tempura and the most delicious peanut sauce and Golden Triangles.... OMG so yummy!

Had a wonderful dinner tonight. This has now become my go to restaurant In Keene. The service is commendable! The owner greets you and make sure you are comfortable, your order is in, and you have drinks and food as needed! They refill water as soon as it's 3/4 full. I highly recommend the food it is tasty, the service is quick and the menu is excellent for vegans and vegetarians! I will be back again and again!

This Thai food is soooo good. A hidden gem really, I have always heard god things and have been happily fed every single time I go in for a meal. The restaurant is clean and neat, the big windows show out a cute look onto main street. Service is always friendly, fast and so attentive. Your water will never go empty. This visit I got the Pad Thai with Shrimp and Chicken, and the Tempura Shrimp. Not only is the Pad Thai so good, but the portions are huge and always leave me with leftovers for the next day!

Decorations and servers in authentic attire-loved that!

Went here for lunch on a Monday. They were busy but we were a group of 6 and got a table right away. We parked on meter street parking behind the building. The servers were soo attentive, refilling our waters and making sure we had everything we needed. They served a chicken noodle soup before the meal. We went with a group of some who love Thai food and some who don't have much experience eating it. This was the perfect place for both ends of the spectrum. The Thai lovers got pad Thai and red curry and said it was amazing. The ones who haven't eaten Thai a whole lot got the cashew chicken and pineapple rice, and they loved it!!! They had a lunch menu in addition to their regular menu and it was very affordable.

Right when you enter you get a small sense that you are transported to Thailand... The wait staff and dressed in traditional clothing and the music gives the same sense. They also give you a free small noodle soup in clear chicken broth to whet your palette. We got 3 dishes - some sort of fried spring roll (forgot the name) with crab, pork, fish - yum yum noodles - pad krapao (something like that) All dishes were extremely tasty, not too overwhelming and had all the right notes of spiciness, sweetness and savoriness. Plus, great lunch prices!!

Super busy, but lucky we made a reservation for our large group. The staff was very friendly, and constantly refilled our waters. The food was really good too. For appetizers, I got the special crispy corn money bags. It was very crispy but underwhelming in flavor. For the main, I got the Crispy Basil Fish -- lightly battered fish fillet in a yummy sweet and spicy chili sauce. It wasn't that spicy. The crispy basil chips on top were lacking flavor though. I asked if I can substitute rice for some noodles, and they were able to accommodate me. Overall, the dish was tasty and good value with all the fish they give.

Absolutely fresh and delicious food. Great variety, superb service and what you'd expect from a more metropolitan area. A favorite.

Always my go to for some PHO :)…read more The food is always very good, and the staff is extremely professional and helpful! Love this place!

The other day, I finished trying all of the phở places I could find in Fitchburg and Leominster,…read moreand a majority of places in Worcester. I felt that it was appropriate for me to come back here and see if my (and my wife's!!) opinions on phở have changed in the past year. I actually live down the street from this place, and despite being in very close proximity I've only been here... 4 times? Located in a small strip mall right next to the N Main Street, Leominster Dunkin' Donuts, this place has been a solid fixture that I've passed by nearly every day since I could even remember anything. Google AI Overview tells me they've been open since 1998. With that said, the parking is a pain since it requires diagonal parking and little room for error when backing out. It's a shared lot between a few other businesses too, so I don't really understand how they can manage on busy days. I've only come here for dinner and the place has a nice, very dim atmosphere. This seems exactly the kind of spot to bring your partner out for a quiet dinner; I don't think I heard anyone else around us talking lol. The waiting staff were friendly and attentive but I can't help but feel disappointed that no one speaks Vietnamese; they said they were all Hmong. Anyways... Sparkling Salty Plum Drink ; this drink is always delicious in every place and this quality matches all others. and I'm always left wanting more. recommended. Gỏi Cuốn ; Vietnamese salad (or fresh) rolls. I order this at every restaurant that serves it. I have to be candid here - this is the worst one I've had out of the dozens of Asian restaurants I've eaten in. These rolls were mostly lettuce, so the crispy and watery texture is all you can taste and feel. The peanut sauce was also the most flavorless I've tried as well. For the first time ever my wife had to scoop a decent amount onto her roll just to taste something - she always dunks the teeniest tiniest corner at other places. Do. Not. Recommend. Phở Bò Viên ; this was the first phở spot I brought my wife and both of us agreed... we did not like the phở here. Have our opinions changed? Not really. The broth is very light with a delicate beef flavor. I could see myself enjoying this in the spring time if I was looking for a light lunch. As I got further in the bowl the tangy and oniony flavor really comes out and I'm left finding it unpleasant. Upon first taste before I dug in, my wife still found the broth too sour. This place also has the samn damn problem as many others: the noodles are TOO narrow and slippery and they rob most of the volume of the bowl. And you better eat it fast before it's too soggy. The meatballs here were way tougher than other phở places. Hủ Tiếu Nam Vang ; this was my wife's choice and off the bat she said this bowl is too sweet. That's actually crazy since she finds most places to be too salty and too sour. I took a sip of it and had to agree. The broth is light but has a strong seafood-forward and sweet taste. She managed to eat all of it, but she really had to alter the bowl with lime juice and Sriracha to make it palatable. Overall, we didn't particular like our last visit, and our minds haven't really changed after giving it another shot. Maybe I'll come back some other time to try the rice dishes.
