I had two pizzas being cooked and half of one of them didn't get put into the oven properly and was a little burnt - it wasn't that big an issue to me but they gave me a free bottle of coke, cooked me another pizza and gave me the not-so-burnt pizza as well. I've had 100s of pizzas from there over a long period of time and couldn't recommend La Bella more highly.

Afternoon oyster orgy (aka happy hour) was offered everyday from 3-5pm and the oysters were a great deal at half price. The six we ordered were large and fresh and came with a red wine mignonette. Other places charged extra for anything other than plain lemon wedges with their oysters. The fish of the day was a blue eye fillet which was a thick white fillet and with a very nice creamy sauce. The broccolini was perfectly cooked and one of the best in a long time. Potatoes rounded out the plate and were a good complement. Seafood linguine was served with a generous amount of shrimp, calamari, fish and scallops. Pasta was al dente. For dessert we finished off with their sticky toffee cake with a scoop of caramel ice cream. It brought back memories of our first one last year and was a satisfying end to dinner. When we returned, the service and meals were exceptional and could not be faulted!
