I have to say that I am a big fan of this lovely little restaurant. When we went a few years ago our experience wasn't so good but fortunately we gave it another chance and I can't speak more highly of it. The food, particularly lunch, is absolutely lovely. Terrific quality and consistency. The owners (Mark and Ruth, I think?) are delightful and very welcoming - particularly Mark. My favourites in the lunch menu are the crispy skin duck, scallops, and fish (usually Blue Eye Trevalla) and chips. everything is fresh and served with either seasonal vegetables or really fresh salad. And I mean fresh salad. There is nothing worse than going into a restaurant where the side salad is limp as if it's been sitting around in the fridge waiting for plating. I understand their speciality is breakfast which we haven't tried. But importantly they have great coffee too! Worth a visit. read more
