This is a neat little Thai place. I came for the Crispy Duck. I LOVE crispy duck. I saw online that they have the crispy duck soup & thought I would see if they make the whole duck/on the bone, not just a duck breast. I love the crispy duck but I like it on the bone, they usually give you half a duck so you get a mixture of duck, leg/thigh meat dark & breast meat, the flavors are better with the duck on the bone with the light & dark duck meats. Anyhoo, they didn't have Red Curry Crispy duck on the menu but they were so kind as to make it for me. They told me they make it on the bone, they just cut it off the bone before serving. This sounded reasonable & I have to have my Crispy Duck fix, so Presto! Like magic, soon, a lovely lunch plate of Red Curry Crispy Duck, cut off the bone, was indeed presented to me OuiOui. I was also brought a side salad & crispy veggie egg roll. The salad was super fresh, but I didn't like the dressing. It was way too sweet, pooled into the bottom of the cup. Next time I will ask for no dressing. The egg roll was perfectly cooked, however it was served cold/room temperature. Would have been better served hot or at least warm. I'm very pleased that I have found a crispy duck dish that has light & dark duck meats. Not just a duck breast. The crispy duck here was also cooked beautifully. I asked for it Thai HOT & my nose was running. It was a perfect Thai Hot for Moi OuiOui. I noticed a lot of Door Dash & take out coming & going. Some ladies were chatting while waiting & they were all talking about how good the crispy duck is here OuiOui. Agreed. The Crispy Duck here is very good. I'm so glad they cook the whole duck on the bone, I know for a fact they do bc I got a tiny piece of it on my plate :( I'm not happy I got the tiny piece of bone on my lunch plate, but I'm very happy that you cook the whole duck. It's unfortunate I got a piece of bone, but the dish is delicious. I also loved the artistic way the veggies were cut in the dish, they were cooked perfectly al dente, the rice was also fabulous & the Red Curry was a very lovely Thai HOT. The prices are also very reasonable. To the Chef: Thank you for making me the Red Curry Crispy Duck. It was delicious. I prefer it served whole, on the bone, however, if you're going to serve it cut OFF the bone "boneless" it must be indeed boneless. I had a piece of bone on my plate. (See photos) I hope that you can be more careful with the tiny bones in the future, as I would love to explore the rest of your menu & try the Red Curry Duck again in the future. There are a lot of Thai restaurants in the area, & this is another good one. If you go, it is a little difficult to find. It's in a semi-hidden strip mall, & there is no outside restaurant sign. We went up to an unmarked business, peeked inside the door, & that was it. The inside is nice & feels new. The workers were pleasant & working hard. The menu has a lot of great sounding options. But we defaulted to their lunch menu. I ordered Panang Curry Tofu. The lunch special is $14, & includes a small salad, a tiny egg roll, white rice, a small cup of chicken & rice soup, & 3 pork potstickers. The food arrived & for sure all was fresh. They do bring a sauce tray for you to spice up yourself. The Tom Yum soup with shrimp had a nice quantity of large shrimp and veggies and was very good. The Duck noodle soup with egg noodles was out of this world good. The slices of duck were amazing. I ordered the drunken noodles with pork and extra sauce as I find most places make it too dry. It was nicely sauced with a nice quantity of peppers, onions, carrots & basil. I found the pork slices themselves lacked flavor. Red curry was also great although the sauce was a bit thinner than I like. Still very tasty. Lisa, our server was great. Ordered three dishes for lunch through Uber eats which totaled $72 (about $55 was for the food). When I opened the take out containers, I was shocked at how little food they had given. Appalled even. I have never in my life seen such small portions from any other Thai restaurants. For $55, you'd think they could spare a little more. Fantastic food! We live nearby and decided to give it a try. So glad we did! Doesn't seem like much from the outside (could be easily missed since it's tucked in a mini strip mall) but the food is really great. Prices are very reasonable as well. Expected a smaller portion based on price and then a heaping plate gets delivered to you. Score! The veggies in the dishes always seem fresh and not frozen. Meat cuts are quality tasting too. Clearly takes pride in all the dishes they produce. It's become our weekly best kept Thai secret.
