Great go-to massage spa. The staff is awesome and all are friendly with great skill sets. Nan and June are my usual requests as they really hone in on what you ask for. I got a busted shoulder and neck issues and they both are super intuitive and really help me live a more pain free life. Place was just given a mini glow up with a new lobby and and a cleaner vibe throughout. Give em a try. read more

Oh my goodness, these reviews do not lie. Do not sleep on this gem, this place was clean and professional. My boyfriend and I went for a couples massage and we got Maya and Ronda and they did an amazing job! We got to be in the same room, which was nice, it had a divider between our beds but we could see each other's faces. The ambiance was very peaceful and quiet. The beds were comfy and they weren't heated but the temperature of the room was perfect without it. The masseurs that we had the pleasure of working with today was Maya and Ronda. They were both amazing and top notch. I asked Ronda to focus on my upper back because I carry a lot of tension in my shoulders and WOW. She did not leave a single knot untouched. She even found some deep knots that I didn't even know I had! Maya used the perfect amount of pressure, it hurt is the best way. Also neither of them made us feel obligated to talk or tried to chit chat during the massage which made us feel at ease. Overall we left feeling so amazing and relaxed! I will definitely be coming back here. read more

Excellent massage with stretching and pressure points. Helped a lot with mobility afterwards.

My wife and I found this place here on Yelp. We had the best massage ever and the staff and owner were very nice and accommodating. We will definitely be back. Awesome experience! read more

After a 90 minute deep tissue massage with Paula, I left feeling reborn as a ball of brioche dough. Have you seen those videos of sushi restaurants where they bring in a giant tuna rib and patrons and scoop out the meat with the spoon? I was the big ass tuna and Paula was the person scooping every knot out from in between my bones. I swear, she worked out every single knot in my body and took such great care of me. Deep tissue massages are not comfortable, but the pain is so worth the release after. Thai deep tissue massages also include your masseur stepping on your back to get the right pressure and angles, so if you're squeamish about that, this isn't the massage for you. Paula was amazing and I don't know how she got to the muscles she did. For example, I rarely feel like masseurs are actually able to get to my glutes but Paula got deep into the muscle and released the knots there which helped release the knots in my back. My favorite part of the massage is at the end where Paula stretched and twisted me. I hold a lot of tension in my neck and upper back so this was incredible. Ultimately, this massage might not be for everyone, but if you like deep tissue, come give Thai Diamond a shot and ask for Paula! read more

I've been twice. Swedish massage plus cupping. Very cute place, nice staff, great massage. 10/10

One thing about this place is that they're going to find every single knot you have. I went in thinking just my shoulders and neck need help, but Perry literally found knots in my arms, my lower back, my feet, literally everywhere. Places that I didn't know were in dire situations until I came here. After coming here a few times, something you need to know is that you're going to feel like you got bruised up, but you'll soon realize that your whole body has been loosened up. Truly the best. read more

Absolutely loved this place. My husband and I decided last minute to add a couples massage to our itinerary and I am so glad we did! They offer very reasonable and competitive prices. We were shocked that our 90 minute massages would cost $100 per person. After our experience in Scottsdale with a Thai massage, we've quickly become obsessed. We were able to make a same-day appointment which was wonderful. I cannot remember our masseuses names, but service was great from start to finish. Both of them were very professional and even went slightly past the 90 minute quoted time. They both understood our pain points and were able to focus on them without neglecting any other areas. We felt like the techniques were even better than our experience in Scottsdale (which we also loved). They also add a hot stone massage and generous head massage. I really like how they incorporated the stretching in the massage and this was the first time I was able to handle the walking the whole time. There were a few times I did have to ask her to adjust the firmness but she reassured me it was because I was so tight. Typically I'd argue to just go softer, but her approach really did relax me much more in the end. After the massage, the front desk staff offered us some delicious tea and candy. They even gave us bags of tea for the road when I asked what kind it was. True hospitality at its finest! The exterior and area may seem slightly sketchy, but walk right in and you won't regret it! read more

Best massage spot in town!! Quick appointment and 10/10 recommend :) would definitely come back here again

This review is long overdue. I'm Thai and grew up in Thailand with plenty of Thai massage experience. It was not easy to find a Thai massage place that I liked. I came to Thai Diamond Day Spa from a recommendation of a Thai friend who's also a massage therapist. Choosing the right massage therapist for your need is very important and I am so happy that I found Nan. She helped me so many times with my back and legs problems. Being a gym rat with a bad back, I needed to get a good massage every so often. Nan worked very hard to make sure that my symptoms are relieved. Sometimes she worked so hard that I had to tease her that she's the one that would end up with the bad back. Try them out if you're looking for a good Thai massage. Clean, polite and good massage therapists. The price is also very reasonable. I'm a big fan. read more

I was able to get in within 30 minutes on a Monday evening. Great traditional Thai massage. The stepping was good and the best part was the neck deep tissue. Loved the warm bed! read more

I've been coming here for a few years now and the place has always been clean, straightforward and square. The quality of the therapy I have always sought and received has been consistently healing and rejuvenative, especially at the end of a stressful workweek. And everything is priced just right. It's tucked away in a corner but worth the find! A former Thai massage therapist of mine from ANOTHER spa recommended TDDS - Thai Diamond Day Spa - to me before she moved back to Thailand. I can't thank her enough. read more

I absolutely love this place! The customer service, masseuses, extremely clean facility, pricing, reserved parking and ease of scheduling all make for the perfect experience. I've been here several times. My partner and I had massages with Nan and Paula in the past and they were great. I went again for a Thai Swedish (gentler) massage yesterday, because it's been quite a while and I need to get back in the routine. Of course I was promptly greeted a few minutes before my appointment was to start/ as soon as I walked in the door. Paula was my masseuse, and just like the last time with Nan, she got all the knots out of back and shoulders. I asked for less pressure in the beginning and she was attentive, within reason given that it's a thai massage. The entire experience was calming and relaxing. I'm looking forward to going back very soon. read more

I get why this gem has so many 5 star reviews. By far the best Thai massage I've ever had, and I've had quite a few. Called day of and got a time for 45 minutes later. Check in was quick, the staff was professional, and kind. Don't let the outside deter you, it was relaxing and so much more than I could have hoped for. $85 for a one hour deep tissue massage with light stretching, hot stones, and aromatherapy. The masseuse intuitively knew when my little muscles had enough stretches and didn't over extend at all. The pressure was perfect. Will definitely be back when I'm in San Diego again. read more

This is my second time going there. I don't remember who I got the first massage from in July but this time it was with Paula. She is fantastic. I got a 2 hr massage plus scrub. So happy. She is truly one of the best massage therapists I have had the good fortune to receive a massage from. She is kind, talented and listens to your body and how you respond to her pressure. My left and right side pelvis are misaligned. Same pressure or stretch don't work. She got it. The stretches she does at the end of the massage made me feel that I wanted to extend my massage by another hour. After massage service is great too. They offer you water or tea and snacks. One word of caution: they expect you to tip quite a bit more than any other place I have been to. They have a flyer with a minimum suggestion of 20%. Expecting a 50% tip for even exemplary service/massage is wrong. The owner should either raise the prices or pay them a living wage. Expecting a customer to pay 35 to 50% tip is wrong. read more

A friend of mine recommended this place and Paula specifically so I booked a 2 hour deep tissue. It is not for the weak! Paula is strong and it was amazing. Most authentic Thai massage outside of Thailand and best massage of my life. 10/10 highly recommended!!! read more

Been getting massages for 13 years, including from my partner who is a massage therapist-- the best imo. But Paula here is the real deal, worth every penny and more. Such skill and understanding of tissues. I opted for deep tissue massage, 2hrs; maintained deep pressure the entire time, and accessed muscles in my shoulder and hips that I didn't even know were accessible--through stretch and simultaneous massage. I'm from Irvine, plan to come back to SD just for this experience again. read more

I've gotten many massages over the years from many different places . However, I've never gone to a place that has been so consistently perfect. Every single massage I've gotten here has been above and beyond exceptional. Siri and Pam are the standouts here. For a fraction of the price of other places, they do table shower, back walking, hot stones, essential oil, face massage, swedish, ashiatsu, deep tissue, and lots of stretching and cracking. I could not recommend this place enough. read more

All I can say is WOW! My body literally just came out of heaven. I work out pretty regularly so my muscles are tight, lack of range and overall needed a relaxing session. Nana is literally an experienced physical therapist, massage therapist, chiropractor and an angel from heaven. She literally released all the tension in my body and knew exactly what to work on. The hot stones was a plus and the price is dirt cheap. Also if you're concerned about Covid, don't be. They are super cautious, clean and poor thing is wearing a mask and face shield the whole time. I can't wait for another session! read more

The people there are very nice. Before you start they ask you if theres any places you want to focus on, overall I had a good experience.

Wow ! What an exciting overwhelming experience here with my close Thai friend Belle Nuntita the professional Thai singer. I use to go to other Thai massage places but they weren't really helping me with how they did their massage treatment on me. My close Thai friend chose this place for us to try out and we both were so amazed on how we felt afterwards. My body was overrun with such an over abundance of relief from head to toe. They massaged every area of my body. I felt so stress free, calm and relaxed afterwards. The Thai massage therapists were so professional at what they know and do and were very kind, respectful and caring to both of us. We both loved it so much that we both will come here all the time now. Thank you so much Thai Diamond read more

Amazing massage! The best I have ever received. I was feeling a little stress and anxious but after the massage I was left feeling relaxed and at peace . I received the 60 min Thai Combo massage with the complementary hot stone. My temperature was checked and I signed a COVID screening. I was helped right away. The massage rooms are super clean, organize and peaceful. The massage was amazing, especially because they had a warm pad on the table that you lay on top. I was messaged with warm towels, oils and the hot stones. My whole body was massaged from my head to toes and finger tips! Everything felt amazing. I have never been stretched in a massage session but I'm glad she did it because it help with releasing a lot of the tension I had. Professional work. I can't wait to bring my friends! read more

Really good massage. That part was amazing. My masseuse seemed unprofessional at the end of it when I was trying to pay when she wouldn't give me back my change after paying in cash because she assumed that she would receive it as tip. I would have preferred for her to give me my change and then I give her the tip but she kept insisting on giving herself a certain amount for tip by withholding my change. Ultimately, I still gave her 20% in tip but she was trying to withhold 40%. A friend really recommended the massage, which was great, but I would probably go with someone else next time. read more
