I went to Thai Style Massage with my husband for a 90 minute couples massage. *WALK IN & BEGINNING*: We called ahead to ensure a time we could walk in for a same day appointment. They gave us 10:30 AND they have free rear parking! The atmosphere was relaxing and Thai themed, dark and beautiful. Before we started, they had us fill out a paper that'll give them information on how we wanted our massage. I asked for a medium massage with extra focus on my neck, upper back, and my hands. My husband asked for a heavy massage with extra attention to his back. We also had the option to give them approval to walk on our backs. We gave them our massage papers and they led us into our room. Our room was well sized with our two beds and bars on the ceiling to help them balance when walking on backs. *THE MASSAGE*: The darkness of the room, the calming music, and the working hands of DIAMOND and AMY gave my husband and I the best massage experience yet! I don't think I'll get lucky enough to find another gem such as this. Both ladies look so small and sweet, but once they start working, their hands and feet become fierce! I've never, ever had such a thorough massage. Usually it's mostly a bunch of rubbing and a few muscle digs, but not at this establishment! They're going to make sure you feel every part and that's how you know it's a good massage. There wasn't anything I couldn't handle and my pain tolerance is super low. Since my husband asked for hard, boy did he receive! This was my first Thai massage (she used her feet to really get some good pressure and moved my body to stretch/get different angles) and she made it comfortable and not awkward at all. She used some hot stones too, and I've never felt them used so effectively before! May even cracked my back with her toes - I had no idea that was even possible! We called on a Wednesday afternoon to see if they had time for 2 people for an hour later and they did. I left the massage feeling very relaxed and rejuvenated. My masseuse Diane was experienced and caring, she made sure the pressure is ok throughout the session and asked me about my needs and preferences which were all met. We were a couple in a room with 2 beds, and we each got 60 minutes with hot stones ($10 extra). The massage was a Thai- Swedish combination. Prices are really reasonable given their location and service. If you pay with cash you get $5 off. Place itself is small and modest but I didn't need more than that. I'd like to preface my review by stating that I've had a Thai massage before. I know what it entails, and it's a different style, but I've done it previously and enjoyed it. Not my experience here, unfortunately. The lady who did my massage used very hard pressure. I literally had to tell her 4-5 times within the first half of the massage it was "too much." Other times, not counting the previous 4-5 times, I moaned in pain or called out. I recognize I was very stiff on this day on my shoulders, back and whatnot. But he pain over and over after being told the pressure was too much, was more than I could bare. Also, when doing the Thai style massage, they wrap their legs with your legs and while doing this several times the masseuse pinched my skin on my legs with her feet or her leg. I give them two stars because the gentleman at the front was friendly and there were a couple portions of the massage that were decent--but overall, this was not a pleasant experience. read more
