    The entrance off Thames street

Delicious and tasty pad Thai, rice dishes and salads with excellent service. On Thames street and a cozy place to enjoy your meal, people watching and relaxing. Enjoy! Woody and Bella

We really liked dinner here at Thai Cuisine. It was nearly empty on a gorgeous Saturday night which we were surprised at. There wasn't accessible parking but no surprise given it's on Newport's main strip. Indoor and outdoor patio seating a bit removed from most of the hustle and bustle but still central if you want to explore. As always I loved my go to order of drunken noodles with tofu! Fresh, flavorful and plenty of veggies. Plus points for the lovely garnish. The Thai iced tea was especially fresh tasting and garnished with a mint leaf. Service was prompt and friendly. We left full and happy and would recommend to anyone wanting to

We've been going here for many years. We were shocked to see the lack of product in our favorite dish. For the price charged, we will not be back again.

We stopped in randomly because they were the only place open during our evening walk in Newport. It was fantastic! The seaweed salad was fresh and I highly recommend their brown sauce noodles. The veggies were cooked perfectly, not soggy. Absolutely delicious. The place is decorated tastefully and was clean. We will return.

My husband and i were in need of asian food so we came to Thai Cuisine at Thames street for dinner. Super busy on Memorial day wknd but we got a table soon. Super busy but service was impeccable. Our server helped us with our order and super courteous. We ordered shrimp pad thai, squid pad thai, tom yum koong, chicken drunken noodle. Tom yum goong: 4/5 Flavor was on point but wish it was hotter (temp wise) Shrimp and squid pad thai: 2.5/5 Lacked tamarind flavor and the noodle was too soggy. Squid had no flavor and too rubbery. Chicken drunken noodle: 3/5 There was absolutely not enough noodle in here and not much flavor with chicken either it was the best one we ordered today. Overall: food was not so good but service was really good. Not sure if i will come back but i dont think there are a lot of asian food option.

Best Thai food I've had in a long time! Had the chicken satay for an appetizer & the rainbow sweet & sour with duck for a main. Amazing, definitely a must visit!

Friends had it and said it was delicious

Managed to fall in here when TSK was closed next door and decided to try it out. Overall a sold 3.25-3.8 kind of place. Better than your average Thai spot. A group of us went out and all four of us left happy with our meals. Two of them got the cashew chicken that came in half a pineapple. Looked very good and they said it was delicious. I had the curry puffs for appetizer which I enjoyed for their soft flaky crust and fresh and flavorful ingredients. Would order again. I also had the Drunken Noodles which were above average and not too sticky but I expected more noodles. Would order again (in fact about to order now). Wrapped my meal up with mango and sticky rice which topped me off. Not the best I've had but it was still delicious. Would order it again when mangos are more in season. Overall, will be our staple Thai place while here.

Who says you can't enjoy delicious Thai cuisine in your car during all of the craziness going on with this virus... We found a nice, quiet, scenic spot (Fort Adams) brought our own dishes, chopsticks and voila!!! Magic! We started with an order of Fresh Spring Rolls with Shrimp, Mint Leaf, Avocado, Carrots and Vermicelli wrapped tightly in a rice wrapper, served with a sweet and sour sauce that had quite a KICK! The rolls were totally unique compared to the many others I have tried in the past. Very good, and fresh! We also had to try out their Crab Rangoons and they too were very yummy! I went with Shrimp Festive Noodles for my dinner. It was prepared with Shrimp, Stir-Fried Egg Noodles, Onions, Bean Sprouts, Red, Orange & Green Bell Peppers and Scallions!! It was very delicious, fresh and full of flavor! Will definitely be back!!!!

After driving by Thai Cuisine for years, we finally decided to stop and get some takeout. This proved to be a very good decision! Parking on Thames St can be a bit of a challenge, but it is well worth the effort. Starting with their spring rolls, fresh, light, and delicious. Wrapped perfectly with an awesome spicy dipping sauce! The crab Rangoons were good, but not as remarkable as the rest of the meal. The Chili Duck was where the action truly was. The sweet from the pineapple and vegetables went well with the heat of the chili sauce. The duck was cooked to perfection with an amazing overall flavor! What are you waiting for? Grab some to go tonight!

Massaman curry (bottom) and drunken noodle with chicken (top)

Came here for lunch today with my boyfriend while we're both on a mini vacation. It was around 2pm and there was no wait to be seated. We had a delicious meal, I ordered the Massaman Curry with Chicken (so delicious- coconut and peanut flavored). It's one of my favorite Thai meals and they did it perfectly. My boyfriend had the drunken noodles w. chicken which were also delicious. The noodles weren't clumped together like I've seen other thai places do. Both dishes had a lot of veggies included and were incredibly tasteful. If I lived closer this would be my go to thai restaurant. Our waiter, who seemed to be the owner, was incredibly kind and sweet. The prices were also very reasonable!! During our next trip up we will definitely stop in again.

    Red curry with beef
    Beckett T.

The best Thai in town! I cannot say it enough! I've been here many times and it's consistently great. I got the red curry with beef and it was very flavorful and well balanced with the spices. I also had crab rangoon. If you go here, you have to have the crab rangoon. It's the best I've ever had! The Thai tea is delicious as well. Every part of my meal was great! I tend to be picky when it comes to Thai food so me saying everything was amazing, is a big deal. The waitress was very kind and accommodating as well. I asked the waitress if she could make some unseasoned steamed veggies for my baby to keep him happy while I quickly ate my lunch, and she made it happen for us. They offer dine-in and takeout so no matter what your situation, you have to try them!

It was good crispy, nicely cooked the sauce really was a stand out for me. Well, a few of my other family members would have preferred soy sauce but a bit pricey for what it was. Not amazing, just decent. Good portion though. Everyone at the table loved the Tom Yum soup. It's not really my thing since I don't love coconut-based soups, but everyone else was raving and said it was the best they've had. I ordered the Crispy Duck and it was the highlight of the meal. The duck tasted very fresh, and CRISPY the sauce was sweet and spicy, and the greens tasted more like baked kale than fried light, not greasy, and full of flavor. Really excellent. However, it can get quite heavy as my boyfriend really liked his food, but the sauce was a bit much for him with the heaviness of the duck so just keep that in mind I thought it was fine. I liked it so personal preference. There was a small mix-up where my food was accidentally taken away and thrown out, but the staff handled it well and made me a smaller batch to go. I was a little bummed not to get all the extra greens I'd saved, but they genuinely tried to make it right. I also kept changing my mind on my main dish once I realized something was coconut-based, and the staff was incredibly patient and kind the whole time. Great food, great service, and definitely worth coming back.

The focus here is ramen, with a small lineup of appetizers and a surprisingly good selection of sakes by the glass or bottle (not just the little cans you see elsewhere). They can prepare many items gluten free, and if you're unsure about your spice tolerance, you can get the chili oil on the side, which is a nice touch. This was what ramen was made for. I walked in feeling (and looking) like Jack Frost. Only the brave were venturing about, so the restaurant was minimally packed and we were seated immediately. Szechuan cauliflower? Yes please. I would come back here for that cauliflower alone and order three servings of it. It was perfectly crispy and smothered in spicy sauce. The miso ramen broth was flavorful and spicy. Just what I was looking for. They used brown rice noodles which had a consistency that I would describe as slightly clumpy and with a different taste than traditional noodles. The rest of the toppings were as expected. The interior was very well decorated and felt upscale. It was a nice experience dining here.
