You come here spend your money and check in and ask for free Thai tea as reviewed and it's clear that I checked in and the lady comes out to hassle me about not seeing it come through. After a meal and a clear check in...really. You made me feel like a liar and lost customers instead of bringing over a Thai tea and offer to show me how you wanted it posted. My girlfriend had the spicy fried rice and I had the pad keen mow she really liked the rice the portions were quite large the Thai tea was pretty good my pad keen mow wasn't very flavorful the dining room was freezing so we didn't want to stay long we sat down and there were several groups that came in after us and they had their food way before us some were even paying their bill and preparing to leave by the time we got our food I don't think we will ever come back here again read more

Nice local Thai place. Just like the name it is situated right in the corner close to Chase bank. Order 3 dishes and finished all of them.

All 3 items (Tom kha soup, crazy cashew, and egg rolls) were tasty and came out quickly. Will definitely come back!

I came to Thai Corner about 45 minutes before closing one Friday night, and ordered some food to go. The staff seemed friendly, I had found their listing on Yelp, and it had a fairly good rating. I was excited to try it. To begin with, I asked for a cup of tea while I waited, awhile, (customary in many Asian style restaurants) but they said I would have to pay extra, so I declined the tea. My order finally was ready. So when I got the food home, the 'chicken satay' was dry and hard, and they only gave me 2 tablespoonfuls (I measured it) of thick peanut sauce for 5 pieces of dry chicken. Couldn't eat it; hard to swallow. So I opened the rice noodle dish, no meat, and it too, was very dry and the noodles stuck together, laced with about 4 or 5 small pieces of broccoli that were each HALF yellow (old, no good)! There were a few 'unidentifiable things in it too, maybe vegetables? Definitely not fresh! The 'salad' that came with it was a few pieces of cabbage and carrots with 'house dressing' I guess, and it was extremely sweet with no flavor. There was about 2 tablespoons of this also. I measured it in disbelief. I simply couldn't eat the food and threw it away. I called them and they were closed. Thru a series of going back and calling, and asking for a refund, I was told I needed to talk to the owner, who didn't seem to be there when I called, then was told I should have kept the food to return it, (nope I threw it out) etc, etc. After I demanded a refund they finally said they would , and that it would take time to process the refund. Well that was 2-1/2 weeks ago and I never saw the refund on my card. So I called my credit card company to dispute the charge, and the credit card company refunded me, not the restaurant. Thai Corner NEVER once apologized for giving me old, inedible food, lied to me, and never refunded me. Bottom line is, my experience there was horrible, my complaint was not handled in a professional manner, I will never go there again, and I wrote this honest review for others to see! read more

Ordered the squid fried rice and chili basil with beef. It was delicious my only complaint is that it lacked in spice, I asked for a 8/9 spice on the chili basil but it was 5/6 at best. The flavor on the fried rice was beautiful. I also really liked the to go containers, I hate when Thai places place the food in foil in a styrofoam container. This place really caters to the needs of take out people. I appreciate that. Flavor was perfect, spice was lacking. read more

Food is generally very good, BUT service is not. They have mistaken my order on a few occasions and have been unwilling to correct their mistake. It is a shame since their food generally tastes better than any other Thai restaurant in the Lake Forest area. Poor service will ruin even the best restaurant. My boyfriend and I decided to stop in here and grab food. I had the yellow cury and my boyfriend had the crying tiger. Seriously, so delicious! The lunch special is a ridiculously good deal and they have so much variety! Plus free Thai iced tea with lunch specials! BOMB! I love this place and definitely plan on coming back! I'm addicted to this restaurant! It's within walking distance from our house, so our family has been walking over there at least once a week. I've only been for dinner and everything we've tried is amazing! The specials come with a huge amount of food for the price. Drink, appetizer, soup (the bowl is a meal in itself), entree, rice and salad. My husband just tried the green curry and it was out of this world. The crying Tiger comes with this amazing dipping sauce that takes it over the top. I love that they have the super wide, flat rice noodles. I can't seem to find them anywhere and this place makes multiple dishes with them. I could eat the wonton soup every day! Huge pieces of bok choy and toasted garlic on top, what's not to love? The staff are very nice and accommodating. As though the portions are not enough, they bring us extra rice and fixings for my daughter! read more

I give this place 5 stars. I have been coming here every week (3times a week at least). The food is very consistent and the service is great (however, please do not expect them to beg you when they have full house..they will do their best). The service is quick and good. The food is great (highlights: pad Thai - this can be a bit sweet to you if you don't like sweet, crying tiger - oh my this is the best , drunken noodles -awesome, Thai tea - just tell them if you like more or less milk( it usually comes with a bit of milk which I like it) It is a quick lunch and dinner place if you like. I ordered the Special Salmon lunch special today for lunch. It was BAD! They prepared salmon that was freezer burnt, cooked or grilled it with no taste at all. I even asked the waitress how the salmon was cooked and she replied...I don't know....??? If they don't have fresh fish to serve they should tell the customer to order another dish instead.
