I should've read the Yelp reviews first before ordering. This place is the absolute worst Asian fast food I've ever had! I got the three entree combo for $19. I don't mind the high price since it's located inside the Yaamava Casino, but the food quality is absolutely horrible. The Mongolian beef was very low quality beef that doesn't even taste like beef. The Kung Pao chicken was so oily which almost made me sick. The tangerine chicken was mostly just fried batter. The vegetable fried rice seemed uncooked. The pan fried noodles was actually the best out of everything I had, but it still tasted bad. Not coming back to this place ever again! read more

I didn't feel like going to one of the traditional sit down restaurants so I decided to try the small food court by the 909 sports bar. I wasn't in the mood for Italian, BBQ, or a burger so I decided to try out Thai Chi 2 which isn't really Thai food but Chinese food sounded good. You can order via a kiosk but there was no line at the register so I quickly ordered that way. You provide your cell phone number when your order so they can text you when it's ready to pick up. I ordered orange chicken, pepper steak with onion, bok choy, and chow mein. It seemed like an assembly line semi-fast food type establishment so I figured my meal would be ready pretty quickly. However five, then ten, then 15 minutes went by with no text message and the pick up counter continued backing up to 20 over bags of food ready for pickup that just sat there forever. After I saw somebody who ordered after me inquire and pick up their food, I figured I better go see if my food had been sitting there for a while. Their text message "your order is ready" system must have been down. I found a spot at the 909 sports bar next door and dug in. Unfortunately the orange chicken and pepper steak were mediocre at best. The bok choi looked overcooked and I didn't even try it. Inside the Yaamava Casino / The 909 on the 2nd Floor part of the 909 We sat at the circle bar table , from any section we can view the any sports show from the curved TV . I stopped at the Thai Chi 2 counter , Lorenzo and one other team member were busy restocking merchandise . Lorenzo looked up and acknowledged my presence . I told him to proceed to what he was doing first he got his hands full, I don't mind waiting . Soon after I asked if he can check my club card for any redeemable food offer . With the food credit I was able to order chicken teriyaki rice bowls with broccoli. My husband crave for burgers from the "Get it Grill " and Lorenzo mentioned he can put in my husband's order as well for his food. With that I also added another order from the JBQ food court . If the frame of reference is Panda Express, I would give my order a 3. But since it's a fast food hi a casino, I give them the benefit of doubt. There were very little vegetables in the Chaw Mein. So it was pretty much noodles that had no flavor. The Orange Chicken was good. But it should've been crispier. I also think it had food coloring because it was practically red. The Kung Pao was okay. Service was average. I think employees of all restaurants should be encouraged to try different things on the menu. I dislike it when I ask about a dish and get the I don't know response. I love thai chi 2. They cook fresh asian meals in front of you. You can see them skillfully making the dishes since it's an open kitchen. It's not a fast food with unhealthy processed menu items. They are cooked as it's been ordered whether in person, by kiosk or thru the app. It's only common sense to just ask if you're orders ready. Why wait for the text, esp when it's a busy time. If it's a busy day or night, expect a lil wait since they cook as the orders come in. I always get my orders nice, hot & fresh. And the staff are always so accommodating & very polite, esp on my last visit which was july 4th...super busy night. A young gentleman Mason was so helpful, friendly and super personable. Would I come back? Thai Chi Express is located in the food court, next to the buffet in the San Manuel Casino. I come here once in a while for lunch when I take my family to the casino. You line up and select what you want before proceeding to pay, just like a Panda Express. The 2 entree with a side comes out to be $10 but they give you a generous amount of food. On occasion they have pad thai which is pretty decent. Their chili tofu is edible as well. From the looks of their meats, everything else looks pretty oily. They have beef pho, ramen and udon on their menu as well. You need to order it with the cashier and they will bring it to you when it's ready. For people who gamble frequently, you can use your points on your players card to buy food here as well. My family and I usually come here when we already ate our buffets for the month and do not have any food comps. The wait it never too bad and you do not need to wait for them to make your food. I went to Thai Chi II and it is as bad as the one downstairs. The wait wasn't long and the employees were nice. The green beans were over cooked and unseasoned. I had the beef with peppers and onions and it had a little bit of seasoning but it was a little over cooked also. I would recommend going to another one of the places in the 909. read more

The food here is decent, but because it's located inside of San Manuel Indian casino, it's convenient for you to feast if you're hungry. The prices are a little more than what you would pay at Panda Express but they give you a very generous amount. Since it's part of the casino, you're allowed to use you players card for discounts or reward points/dollars. Most of the time, your meals are comped cause they give you enough points if you play. I've had many of their items here: Kung Pao chicken, beef and string beans, and orange chicken. If you're getting a combo, you can split the fried rice and chow mein. They have other items like Ja Jang Myun, totally spelled differently than what it's suppose to be, but maybe it was on purpose. They also have ramen (Japanese). So, this is a true Asian fusion, but there's nothing wrong with that! This is truly an Asian fusion, or at least the title is a little miss leading. It's called Thai Chi, so you'd think there would be some Thai food? It's not called Tai chi. But most of their stuff is Chinese. The service here is great. We received a $10 voucher. The meal we ordered was about $8, so the cashier helped us pick additional items to hit $10, without having to pay. I thought it was nice of her because she could have just given us what we ordered and we would have lost out on that extra $2, although, that wouldn't have been a big deal. Overall, this food court has 3 different establishments. This is the Asian cuisine, the others are Italian and American. So...it's nice that they have variety. If you're not eating here, there's a buffet right next door. If you're gambling, you'll most likely want to stay in the casino and not have to drive out (there's not much anyway in the city if Highland!).
