One of the best Thai restaurants in town. I've been coming here for years, and the food is consistently delicious. The service is always friendly and welcoming, which makes every visit a great experience.

    Drunken Noodles

Got the drunken noodles togo. They seemed like the chef just boiled the noodles and then poured sauce over it. The sauce had a good flavor but that is about all that was good. The cashier was nice and the decor looked pretty good and clean.

Thai Cafe of Redding is GREAT! So far, everything I've tried is fresh and tasty. The ingredients in each dish are high quality, and you can savor the authentic flavors. The vibrant herbs, aromatic spices, and perfectly cooked proteins combined to create a memorable culinary journey. For those who appreciate a little heat, the extra-spicy options are a must-try. The chefs at Thai Cafe know how to balance heat with flavor, ensuring each bite is an explosion of taste. Whether it's a spicy curry or a fiery stir-fry, the extra spicy offerings are a real treat for the taste buds. If you like fresh, flavorful, and just the right amount of spicy Thai cuisine, Thai Cafe of Redding is the place to be.

The owner was so kind and polite to us. Usually, vermicelli comes with pork, but we asked for something else, and they added extra shrimp for us. The taste was amazing, just like what I like in Thailand. I didn't take photos of anything else because I was really into the salad.

I ordered vegetarian drunken noodles, this is my usual order at every Thai restaurant but I have never seen it without the sauce. These are plain noodles and severally overcooked. They rip when I try to lift them with the fork and they are completely flavorless. I have no idea what's going on here but it seems like they cooked the noodles and forgot to add literally every other ingredient.

Stopped by here for lunch and they are doing a to-go only. Small place and feels like any other Thai restaurants. The uncle/cashier was friendly while he took my order. I ordered Evil prince with beef and Masamun curry with pork. I also bought Pad Thai with shrimps but haven't ate it yet. You can't get Evil prince at most Thai restaurants so I was pretty excited that they have this on the menu. Strong flavor just like how I like my Thai curry. As for Masamun curry, it's good but I would say Evil prince is better. I would love more peanuts in the Masamun curry though. I'm not from this area but I would stop by again to get my Thai cravings. I would like to try other dishes next time.

Service was fast even tho they were pretty busy, flavor was great, atmosphere was clean, prices good. Only con is maybe portion size is a little on the smaller side. Would return again.

    VERY BLAND Pad Kee Mao.

This was my first time ordering from here and sadly this was not a good experience. We had our meal delivered to my place of employment through entrée express, and it arrived rather quickly. (will give one star for this) But I will give no stars for the food, at least my food. This was the most unsatisfying lunch I've ever eaten! The Drunken Noodles or Pad Kee Mao were more like 'watered down noodles'. The noodles were a bland color and flavor. I had four prawns, two pieces of broccoli with very little shredded cabbage and a few sprigs of shredded carrots, and chili flakes. Where were the rest of the veggies? Where was the flavor? Where was the spiciness? I ate about a quarter of my meal, and then tossed it. I will continue my search for a decent Thai Restaurant in Redding as this one missed the mark entirely.

Fresh spring rolls, Evil-Prince curry, and white rice.

This is by far the worst thai I've ever had. I still feel nauseous from having 3 bites of it.

My wife ordered the Nam Kho and loved it too. We also got the sweet and spicy wings, which were honestly one of our favorite parts of the meal. The Thai iced teas were great as well. The service really stood out. The woman helping us was very friendly and even brought us a sample of the basil Thai fried rice to try, which ended up being really good too. That was a nice touch and made the experience feel welcoming. Food came out quickly, the atmosphere was relaxed, and overall it was a great dinner spot. We'll definitely come back. The garlic noodle with beef was way too salty and contain 3 tiny pieces of beef I was shock at how tiny the potion was for $22.95. Then the nam khao was almost all rice with only a tiny bit of other ingredients it was so disappointing 70 dollars for a little bit of rice and noodles. There are many excellent Thai restaurants in town just wanted to try something new. This is my first bad review I have ever taken the time to write and want to warn other this place is way overpriced for what you get.

We happened to sat at the table next to the window. And the lady greeted us, gave us the menu, and wiped our table. But then when I glanced at the window, it was full of noodle splashes. I understand maybe they are understaff since it's a small family business, but it did affect the whole dining experience. I had the boat noodle, broth is rich with good flavor. My husband had pho, he liked it. The lemon pepper wings were lemony, I wish it would be more peppery. I thought it would be the dry lemon pepper seasoning. The wings were fried very well, really crispy.

She remembered all the orders without writing them down which was honestly impressive! We did wait a while for drinks as well as for food, but it was worth it! I saw that you can order online, so maybe that would skip the wait a little bit?
