    Eggrolls!

I really loved my experience here. we just so happen to be driving by and we're getting a little bit hungry so we stopped at the Panini place only to find out that not only did they sell Panini's, but they sold amazing Asian food!!! We will have to come back. It was very enjoyable!

Awww...it was a beautiful day with amazing food. Service was great and we'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu. We had the Filipino food and it did not disappoint. We were so full we didn't get to try the Halo-halo. Next trip for sure!

Love the flavor, texture and taste of this panini!

Finally hit this place at the right time...lunch. I always thought it was a sandwich shop and a sandwich I had. Miners special is a pastrami panini and a good one at that. The meat was sliced thin, piled high and the bread was top shelf crispy goodness. It came with a bag of chips, like all the sandwiches do, I got a can of soda and this dank brownie. (Oh my) All that for under $15 seemed like a great bargain to me. I was surprised to learn they also have burgers, hotdogs and hold the bus,Filipino Food! The friendly owner said I need to come back for the crispy pork belly. I agree with him.

    Pancit on Saturdays.

Filipino specials on Saturdays. And the sandwiches are of good proportion. Today, it's pancit for me.

Filipino combo platter: chicken adobo, pansit, lumpia Sweet sauce for the lumpia seemed homemade-- rich, not too cornstarchy

This little place at the top of the mountain deserves some love! They serve custom sammies, hot dogs, and delicious Filipino food to keep you warm and well fed all winter through the Trinity Alps. Stopped here by chance driving home and the owner hooked me up with some amazing lumpia, as well as the Filipino plate combo. Was more than enough for the drive home and dinner for the next 2 days, super fresh. Also love how this business has done everything possible to keep their patrons safe: free masks, sanitizer, and even a handwashing station are right by the entrance. The restaurant is conveniently located next to some interesting historic spots as well if that's your thing: ruins of an old bakery and an old pilgrim grave site. I truly hope the best for them. Spoke with the owners a bit and it seems like it's been a struggle during Covid, as any other restaurant will tell you right now. Please consider visiting them if you're in the area

Filipino Platter: chicken adobo, lumpia, pancit, and rice. Available as a special on weekends for only $13

The food here is delicious! It's in a great spot for a stop in on your way to or from the lake. The prices are so good. We got the Filipino platter for $13. It was delicious and it was enough to split between two people. The desserts are tasty too. I don't think you can go wrong with anything that you order here. The people who own this place are so kind and appreciative of their customers, and the historical building is a must see.

    Filipino platter to go.

Such a cool little spot! My second time there! It's a family owned bakery that includes culture and flair. The owner makes a Filipino platter that reminds me of home. With chicken adobo, rice, pancit and Shanghais. they also sell really yummy desserts, make sure to try the magic bar. Go support this magical little spot filled with antique and wonder.

This is the cutest cafe ever! If you're hungry coming back from exploring Whiskeytown, this is the place to go! To order your food, they have menus that you fill out with markers telling them what you would like in your sandwich or your hot dog. They have freshly baked goodies; everyone MUST try their Magic Bar (I wish I bought more than 1). While you wait for your food, you can sit on the adorable wooden chairs and take in the cute decor inside resembling the mid 1860's...or sit outside and play checkers! If you're short on time, you could also call ahead to order your food. I ordered a panini with turkey, roasted bell peppers, caramelized onions, cheddar cheese, and Dijon mustard. For a $1.00 more you could make it a combo with a soda and chips. The bread was toasted perfectly therefore the cheese had the perfect gooey-ness! Overall: Service was great! Shorty, one of the owners, was very attentive and super sweet. I will definitely come back!

It was a nice, cool evening so it was perfect to dine outside. We had a great server, Chloe, who was friendly and attentive & made sure our dining experience was perfect all around. We had the Chicken Caprese Sandwich and the Lamb Burger, both excellent and the Cheese Curds were addicting. Highly recommend the King Estate Pinot Grigio, so light and refreshing. We had just taken our daughter to a water park so we were dressed rather casual. Albeit very casual and partially wet front the water we were greeted immediately and seated outside. I love Al fresco dining which they offer with misters on their outside patio. Our little one got to run around while we waited on our order. The craft root beer and burgers were top notch. I ordered the GOAT burger with arugula and bacon jam. It did not disappoint. My husband got the widow which was also quite delectable. Both burgers were cooked perfectly and the flavors complemented each other. Little notes of arugula, salty bacon, sweet jam, goat cheese, beef combined with a buttery fluffy bun made it a masterpiece. I upgraded to the duck fat and Parmesan fries. These are must try. Better than any fries I've had in NYC, SoCal Italy Germany or anywhere. Their fries were hand cut, the herbs and Parmesan were so fresh and drizzled with duck fat oil just sent them over the top. My husband upgraded to the cheese curds which were perfect as well. Their house ranch was also great and I'm a ranch snob. We were hungry and were served quickly with a smile. Our server or manager was on top of everything but not smothering. We will be back soon, this is a must try! Kid friendly but also a place you could come dressed to impress and enjoy as well. Thank you!

I'm a sucker for their Monte Cristo sandwich and my husband always gets their eggs. Their hash browns are perfectly crispy, and he likes their blackberry jam. Had the BEST Monte Cristo I have EVER had!…read more We're in Redding for the weekend and turned to Yelp to find a breakfast spot--so glad it led us to Trendy's! The reviews were spot on because Trendy's did NOT disappoint. I love a good Monte Cristo and have tried a lot of them, but this one is hands-down the best I've ever had. The ham and turkey tasted like something straight out of grandma's kitchen on a special holiday, the cheese was melted perfectly, and the bread-to-meat-to-cheese ratio was absolute perfection. The service was just as amazing--Alma, our waitress, suggested I try the mango jam with it. I was hesitant (I'm usually a berry jam girl), but WOW... it was so good I ended up taking some home! My husband ordered the BEN sandwich and said it was delicious. He also had the fresh-squeezed orange juice, which brought back sweet memories of his grandma making it for him in a little amber glass when he was younger. Portion sizes are generous, prices are fair, and parking was easy--which is always a win. If you're passing through or local to the area, make sure you stop by Trendy's for breakfast or brunch. There's a reason they have so many great reviews! *REVIEW UPDATE* It was so good the first time we went back today! My Husband had the steak tacos and said they were AMAZING! I have a sensitive tummy and sometimes finding a good mix of carbs and protein can be a challenge. I ordered just a scrambled egg and since the turkey in the Monte Cristo was so good I ordered turkey all by itself for an added little protein! Dipped it in their homemade jam of course! For my carbs I ordered a pancake. (Kind of apprehensive about that from a prior review I read...) that review was way off! If that pancake was from a box please let me know who makes it cause it was so fluffy and yummy! As we sat outside we saw many people come in and out and the employees greeted many of them by name! I almost wish I lived closer so I could be a regular too! Sorry no pics This time as we are before we thought about it!
