Best pad Thai around. The food is just amazing. You get big portions and the price is great if you go at lunch time. Even at night you can get a couple of meals and share. The ambiance is beautifully done and it is very comfortable. We have taken our daughter and her husband, some neighbor friends and our other daughter, husband and grandkids. We've been coming here every once in a while for a few years and I enjoy it quite a bit. The inside is nice and clean. They have a nice lunch menu where you get a small soup before your meal and it's really yummy. I had the pad Thai to eat and it was very good. It's no secret that Thai food is my "go to" comfort food when I'm not feeling so good. Due to recent health issues, I decided to celebrate my birthday to be low key. When asked, on a gloomy rainy , cold day. I said Thai bite would be where I wanted to go. To warm up, my party decided to order soup, spring rolls and main entrees. I also ordered 2 soups to go later at the end for the following day. 1. Thai Wonton : wontons stuffed with minced chicken in a savor mild broth with sliced pork and vegetables ( we substituted pork with chicken). The presentation was kinda cool. The soup came with a large bowel type thing with a heated fire underneath. The soup itself was 3 out of 5. 2. Sen-Mee Nam : a savory Thai noodle soup with rice vermicelli, bean sprouts and green onions topped with roasted garlic and cilantro. Added Chicken. This was my choice. Very Wholesome and filling. I couldn't eat it all and decided to take the rest to go. I would order this again. 3. My usual : Chicken pad Thai with no rice. Crying Tiger( beef on a bed of lettuce , like a salad) comes with rice. Normal , nothing really to report. Service: Initally, we were seated at a small booth that felt very claustrophobic and dark. I told our hostess that I couldn't sit here. She declined saying the bigger booths were for parties of 4 or more. Not happy. After not being able to breathe i took it upon myself to move to the table/booth that was comfortable. It's my birthday and no one puts me in a dark small corner. The restaurant was empty. Seriously? I was pissed. The initial hostess who seated us was not very friendly or inviting or helpful. I've had her before, and I'm not a fan. The second server who came was younger and totally helpful. The service here is not the best, even giving slack because of the pandemic with shortages of staff, I can't say in good faith that it has changed any compared to previous incidents prior to pandemic. If possible , I'd recommend ordering the food ahead of time and picking up and eating at home. Just make sure you get all the sauces and condiments because they are extremely stingy with them. Even with to go boxes. Maybe I'm picky , but I'd like my food to be properly boxed in containers that won't spill into my car. The Aliso Viejo Location has better service and ambiance, but LN is closer. Solid 3 stars. read more

Love this place! It's been pretty liable for good Thai food. The restaurant is big and accommodate large groups. Lots of different items to please everyone. What really stood out was that I brought in cake for the guys at the last minute! It was partially frozen and not sliced! So angry.... They've done this to us before. The order isn't exactly what we ordered. But I buy this appetizer BECAUSE of the peanut sauce. The peanut sauce was missing. Double the lime dressing (not sure exactly what it is) instead. So I drove back across town interrupting our dinner. ...no apology for missing the sauce. No apology at all. I've ordered takeout from here a number of evenings & here's my go to dishes - pad thai tofu, pad kee mau chicken (spice 2), any of the curries (pumpkin is a favorite), thai summer rolls, and tom yum soup. The peanut sauce is delicious. The flavors are consistent. The spice level actually goes to REALLY spicy which is a change from Thai normally ordered in South Orange County. While in town we wanted to eat something other than the usual hotel food. This Thai place is located about 20 min from the Dana Point Beach. Great Thai food place which was extremely busy with take out orders. Their service was very friendly and helpful. This was one of the few (only) place where we could call and discuss food allergy and dietary restrictions. Their food quantity is very generous and can be shared by two people. Their Tom Yum soup came in a nice hot serving dish with burner to keep it hot. Pad thai and pad see yew were very flavorful. The restaurant is very helpful and accommodating. They made sure nut allergies were clearly pointed out and their Tom yum soup is made with soy sauce instead of shrimp or fish sauce. I am fine eating at Thai bite. Normally my husband orders the lovely eggplant, which he did and proclaimed it to be very bland. I got the Pad Thai with shrimp and it was good! It was also a huge portion and I brought over half of it home. My husband and his brother, who was in town visiting, ordered chicken wings as an app. Mistake. Heavily breaded and doughy. My husband said he could barely find the chicken. The two of them left four pieces. My brother-in-law ordered the duck. I thought it would be amazing. Sadly another big miss. Just do not go here. My girlfriend has been going to this place for years and introduced it to me and I have been going for almost 2 years. Everything has gone down hill. The chicken is always dry, everything is always overcooked, and the only thing that is good is their pad Thai. Not to mention that the manager sucks. My girlfriend and I frequent here because she has celiac disease (an autoimmune gluten allergy). We have never had a problem, but last time we went, they put tofu in her food after I explained to them what celiac disease was and that tofu has gluten. The server acknowledged this and assured me everything would be gf. I pick up the food and there is tofu in my girlfriend's meal. This could have made her sick for weeks where she would be throwing up everyday. People with a more severe version of celiac disease could have died if they ate this. I called to inform the manager about this. I explained how the server told me it would be gf, that this mistake could have killed someone, and how someone could sue the establishment if they did this again. I was nice and understanding about the whole situation. I have family who owns a restaurant, so I get how hard the industry is. However, Instead of saying sorry, he got defensive and went on a rant about how no one would be able to sue him and how it was no one in the restaurants fault. To add onto this, the manager took zero responsibility for almost poisoning my girlfriend and was immature enough to block my number. This was just the most recent bad occurrence me and her family have had here. When you go inside to dine in, it takes 20 minutes just for a server to come bring you water and take your order. They never write anything down and half the time get our orders wrong. That would not matter though, because after the food is on the table, they ignore you and won't come back until they see a card on the table to pay. When you do ask for any assistance, the servers roll their eyes at you and give you attitude. There are nice servers who work here, but most of them are not great. Overall, this place does not care about allergies, does not care about their customers, and their manager is awful. We will never eat here again. We will have to find a new restaurant to eat at. read more
