Pad Thai, dry, stale, and the chicken was like jerky it so so overcooked it crumbled.
John O.

I've ordered here several times the past. Always was great food, but overpriced (are noodles, sauce and a TINY bit of chicken worth $30?). This time it was $78 for two Pad Thais, some curry sauce and some lettuce roles for delivery. It was stale, noodles, dry chicken and gritty something... Absolutely awful. I received a partial refund because the Pad Thai wasn't edible. I absolutely CANNOT go there to pickup because the wait staff is rude and surely. So I end up using Uber Eats but never again. And I have been going there and ordering take out since 2017. DONE!

Really flavorful and textured eats, presented with pride by a wait staff that's confident. My family dined in on Christmas Day. I wish they had set up some portable heaters, or avoided seating us by the constantly opening front door, which let in cold air every time. There were only 2-3 occupied tables, so there were open tables by the kitchen. I would say the food was tasty, but a little out of balance. The Thai iced tea was too sweet; my lemongrass chicken was strongly flavored and needed herbaciousness. That said, all the proteins were cooked right, and well salted (but short of saltiness).

Food is consistently good, as well as service! The place is well maintained, clean, and comfortable. Lamb parang, pork belly, and chicken padthai...deliciously scrumptious.

Mango Fried Rice

Came here for the first time visiting Seattle with a family member who used to come here frequently. We tried Potstickers, Mango Fried Rice and Chicken Pad Thai. Potstickers: Came five to an order on a square plate with lettuce garnish and a small amount of soy sauce for dipping. They were OK, but nothing you couldn't also get from HMart. 3/5 Mango Fried Rice: Outstanding, good amount of shrimp in a tasty sauce with egg, mango, peas, carrots, cashews, and a few other things. Big portion, we had leftovers. 5/5 Chicken Pad Thai: Big dish with large chunks of chicken. 4/5 Dining experience: Greeted promptly and sat near the kitchen. Not too noisy. Friendly wait staff. Appetizer was fairly quick. Payment was also quick once done. Huge menu, just be aware entree dishes do not come with rice or noodles, those must be ordered on the side. Parking: Easy in a shared lot near Starbucks and Bartell Drugs. Return: Yes, we would.

Yellow Curry

Pad see ew was "ok" according to gf and my yellow curry noodle was abhorrent. Curry consistency was that of saliva and the color was doo doo brown. Ive had yellow curry from several different thai places and its never looked or tasted like it does here. Most disappointing was the chicken. Gf got thin cuts in her pad see ew but i got chicken giblets. Little chicken giblets. Which means... if i wanted to absorb all the protein from my 17.95 dollar meal, i gotta slurp down a bowl full of soggy noodles sitting in spit-adjacent brown goo because the giblets are too small to pick out. Never ordering from here again

Fried spring rolls

Food is good here, I like how my pad kee mao 有鑊氣, like I can taste the wok and flame in it. Even the broccoli absorbed the sauces and tasted so good. The flavorful noodles were soft and glutinous. It was savory with a tiny hint of spiciness, and the basils brought an extra fragrant to the dish. One thing I can think of to complain is that the beef was a bit over cooked and kind of chewy and dry. Other than that, it was a perfect pad kee mao. My partner ordered the pad Thai with extra egg because he's vegetarian and he didn't feel like to have tofu again. Pad Thai was good as we expected. I used to love pad Thai but now they seem a bit sweet to me so I go for pad kee mao/pad see ew/ba me hang. Fried spring rolls were also tasty. It was dense, stuffed with shredded cabbage and carrots, it was a good appetizer and snack. I like how they put some black pepper in the stuffing, it made the spring rolls tasted good even without dipping sauce. The staffs were friendly as well. It was a cute restaurant that I'd come in to enjoy a simple but delicious meal at weekends.

Ocean Pot

My coworkers always order food from here, and I personally never really tried their food besides sampling off theirs (eheheh). Each time I've tried the food, they were reallly goood. But maybe it's because it was food that wasn't mine? LOL. But I finally got a full taste of one of their entrees during one work shift! The location that we go to is located across of Bartell Drugs and next to Starbucks at the back of the Gateway Plaza in Shoreline. There's a huge parking lot with ample parking. I got their Khao Soi with chicken, one of the street food dishes. It was a curry noodle dish which was more of a stew than a soup. But it also wasn't fully a curry. A hybrid of the two. The portions were HUGE. Sooo much food in the one plate. And the price wasn't too bad at all! The food was good! There was a lot of vegetables and protein that I thought there wasn't enough of the noodles LOL. Something that doesn't bother me as the curry helped supplement as the "base" with the noodles. It was a tad watery and the flavor was lacking a bit but overall great for the price and portions! I've tried many other things such as their Pad Thai, Ocean Pot, and Thai Basil Beef Salad from my coworkers, and they were all delicious! Especially the Ocean Pot. Super unique and almost like a seafood bake but not really. I definitely would be getting this next time! The restaurant has a VERY extensive menu and could get very overwhelming with all the different choices. The food is pretty good with HUGE portions that could be two meals rather than just one. Definitely would love to try their other dishes!

I had crab Rangoon and pad ginger. Rangoon were okay but the pad ginger was way to saucy and salty. Tofu was very soggy and greasy.

Started off with some VERY crispy wings, topped with fried shallots and garlic, could use a stronger flavor on the wing itself, but goes great with the sweet chili sauce and "secret" plum sauce, squeeze that lemon on there too! Thai Tea was as good as it gets. I got the green curry with Chicken, vegatables tasted so clean and fresh with clean chunks of sliced chicken breast. The curry itself was so rich, aromatic and savory. I also got the Cashew Chicken wok stir fry, love the subtle wok flavor with the mildy sweet and umami/soy flavor of the sauce. The veggies with a nice crisp and chicken goes perfect. They do spice level 1-5 and I chose 3, perfect amount of spice, not overpowering and you still get the nice kick! The service was great, my server was very attentive, helpful with the menu, and friendly. The lady at the register is so nice and was explaining to me some of the popular dishes. You can tell these two love what they do. Some of the better Thai food I've had, hearty, clean and flavorful, I WILL BE BACK! Ps: ask for the spices, and add it to everything, so bomb.

The lunchtime crowd was moderately busy on a weekday. The owners are kept busy so service can be a little slower with fewer staff running the restaurant. The pad se ew had a stronger soy flavor which was a nice surprise. Also, the fried tofu was extra crispy with a smoky taste. The plate was a little on the smaller side, and the veggies were not quite as flavorful but overall, I enjoyed the dish!

Lost a star for too expensive add-ons & desserts. Food, service, relaxing ambiance (slow, soft…read morejazz) were really great! The family is friendly. But my friend & I had the same "surprise" with the bill as Peter G. had 7 mos. ago. We were actually shocked, & disappointed, at the price of the add-ons. The sticky rice & mango dessert price was not on the menu - instead it said "when in season" - - it was almost the same as my entrée (delish eggplant) ~$16. The added soft tofu - the best I've ever had - was $9!, more than half the price of my entrée. Like Peter G., we also saw the itemized bill only at the register, not at the table, and we had to ask to see it, after first seeing the unitemized, total bill. 2 entrées, 2 sides of rice, 2 desserts with tax was over $90. Mine alone was $50 before tip - way more than I'm used to paying for a Thai dinner. So, I encourage going for the food, service, & ambiance, but do ask the prices of anything extra, add-ons, or anything requested that's not listed on the menu to avoid sticker shock, (unless money is no object).

Surprising location, ample parking, just see the pictures. Only possible with a wok used with a very large fire, I would venture. The noodle dishes are just ... glorious on the tastebuds. Well cooked, tasty, some char on the noodles add to the deliciousness, spice levels are tolerant and yummy at a 3. Will have to try all items over time :)

Definitely a no frills place, but it's family run and the food is good. We arrived around 12:45 on a Sunday, at the end of the lunch rush wave. Worked out really well: our server Frank sat us right away, we ordered, and were eating our first dishes within minutes. Perfect! Because we were starving! I had a hankering for pork bao, which I hadn't had in a long time. They were decent. My girlfriend is vegetarian, so all other dishes were vegetarian: dry-fried string beans, general Tso's tofu, and hot and sour food. More than enough for the two of us, and very good and satisfying. Note: General Tso's is usually made with chicken and we asked if it could be made with tofu instead. They had no problem with the request. Portions are ginormous, so bring your appetite!

Given that this is called xiaolongbao house, we should have tried the soup dumplings, but since there were two of us, we got the stir fried green beans and spicy boiled fish (shuijiuyu) as well as some white rice. The spicy boiled fish was DELICIOUS: so spicy, flavorful, with generous portions. The green beans had good flavor but I wish they were crispier. We had a ton of leftovers. We will definitely be back for the other menu items.
