Lychee martini

Thai Aroma was full throttle on flavor, quality and quantity. This place may not catch your eye from the outside. There is nothing flashy about it. They are a hidden gem in plain sight. The restaurant was pretty empty but there seemed to be a semi steady flow of foot traffic from carryout. The service was super friendly. I enjoyed our waiter slash bartender beaming with joy as he described how he crafted our cocktails. He knew what he was doing because the drinks were delicious. The menu is pretty lengthy but not too overwhelming. We started off with trying some of their appetizers; fried spring rolls, steamed dumplings and chicken money bags. All of the items were tasty but the chicken money bags were so dang on good. I don't know another spot that has this on the menu. For the main dishes we settled on garlic stir-fry with chicken and extra veggies and Chawa fried rice. Man o man.......delicious!!! Full flavor eruptions. Needless to say we enjoyed everything and rolled out with some leftovers because they give you so much.

Came here for the first time in years and it was a good experience. I ordered pad thai which was pretty good, but the food is a bit overpriced compared to what it used to offer in my opinion. The service was a bit abrupt but didn't bother me- I remember the server handed us our drinks and before we could say thank you, he said "you're welcome" and quickly walked away. Friend and I had a laugh over that. The red chicken curry was very good as well. I'm glad this place has stuck around.

I like to come here when I'm craving Thai food and I'm at work. I decided to be adventurous this day in order the infamous sweet mango rice. Definitely got the sweet right. I do like the stickiness of the rice and wish there was some mint to cut some of that sweetness. I decided to stick with what I love best and order the chicken drunken noodles. They never disappoint however I would like to see a little more vegetables like maybe tomatoes and broccoli added in.

Looking for some good Thai food in Ellicott City? This is the place to go! My family and I visited here for the first time and all of our meals were absolutely delicious. Pictured are the drunken noodles with beef, drunken noodles with shrimp, and Thai fried rice with shrimp. Good customer service and plenty of parking in this shopping center.

Food & Service is a 10/10! This is my second visit here because I couldn't stop thinking about the Drunken Noodles! First time I got with shrimp, second with chicken and less spicy! Today I also tried the spicy catfish in a curry sauce SOOOOOO GOOODDD! The cocktails are also handcrafted I highly recommend the Lychee Martini and the Pineapple Upside down Martini (new) was tasty also! You won't be disappointed :)

Went back to Thai Aroma. Still the best Thai restaurant in Ellicott City. Added some pictures this time. Enjoy.

I really liked it here! I am gluten free and the menu being labeled is incredible not to mention the massive selection! The Tom Yum was super tasty. The yellow curry was flavorful and my favorite of the night. We asked for it to be less spicy. Service nice and knowledgeable. Truly a gem!

This place was great! Awesome service with delicious food we started with the chicken money bags which were perfectly crispy on the outside and filled with delicious chicken filling.. and the sauce was so good! I got the pad Thai and my husband got garlic chicken. For dessert we got mango sticky rice which was so so good! The pad Thai was delicious, I wish it came with lime but still good regardless. The space was nice and quiet because we were the only ones there which was nice actually!

The menus, the decor, the venue and high ceilings, the private rooms. Their menu had half to full page detailed photos and descriptions of almost every dish. And they had a large menu to accommodate to whatever you are craving. Their food was so good. Everything was seasoned just right to my liking. The spice levels for the sichuan pepper-centric dishes were the star but never overpowering or too spicy. And surprisingly, the pricing for each of the dishes were so low compared to the experience I was getting. Like I kept thinking how can this product be this good but this cheap? One of our fav restaurants now and we recommend anybody to pay Tea Horse a visit!

I didn't take any pictures of the food but we had the sesame balls, pork soup dumplings, peking duck, peking duck soup, fried rice, lo mein, cucumbers, green beans, beef and broccoli and a chicken dish. My aunt had ordered for us so I wasn't sure what she had ordered but everything was delicious. I finally met the owner, although I did not get her name. Our waiter was good and the food came quick since we were all hungry. Since it was my aunt's birthday, the owner gave her a gift which was so nice! My aunt enjoyed the tea cups and will put it to good use. I really love the jasmine tea and probably had a whole pot to myself. It was a cold day so hot tea was nice to start before we ate. I have been to Tea Horse many times and the food does not disappoint. I like the bar area and noticed the liquor selection was high end. I normally don't drink when I eat Chinese food but in case you want top shelf liquor, they have it.

We were greatly warmly at the truck and warned that there would be a wait for our food. We ordered 3 entrees a side and a dessert and were quoted a 45 minute wait. The area is nice to walk around so we took the opportunity to do that. When we arrived after 45 minutes our food was still not ready and we were given a buzzer. After another half hour our food was finally ready. We were thanked for our patience and our order was accurate. My favorite was definitely the Spicy Eggplant, I typically order Drunked Noodles but the spicy eggplant looked so good. The drunken noodles had a great mix of vegetables and were very saucy. My friend had the Shrimp Pad Thai and she said this is by far her favorite pad Thai she has ever had. I probably wouldn't order the steamed dumplings again, but only because I'd like to try their other appetizers. The sticky rice was different than what I've had before. The rice was a lot more sticky than what I've had before but it was delicious! While the wait was longer than anticipated I definitely think the wait was worth it. All the food was fresh and flavorful. I will definitely be back and can't wait to try the Thai Iced Tea!

I had driven past this location many times but never had a chance to go in to try them…read more Pho is my go to nourishment when I start feeling a little under the weather. Since the location I typically grab my broth from crushed my heart when they told me they no longer sold broth when I tried to pick some up on my way home Friday, I had to find an alternative. Not being able to leave the house today, I was fortunate my mother wanted to bring me something to help me feel better. I instantly remembered Man Vs Pho and ran to Yelp first to look at recommendations as well as pictures. I then went to their website to check out the menu and was pleased to find they offered the broth by itself in a 32 oz container of either beef, chicken or vegetable and I quickly added it to my list. I was expecting my mother to call me when she got there but the next thing I knew, she was telling me to open the door. I love she didn't have a problem with ordering and she informed me that it was nice inside and she jokingly rubbed the Buddhas belly and head for good luck. She did say they didn't have any takeout menus at the counter to take with her since she was curious about the food and wanted to try some also. They also didn't put one in the bag either. The broth definitely did is job. I almost passed out after drinking about 75% of it. Steaming hot and burnt my tongue just as wonderful as I could have asked for. It was a little bit on the salty side so I did have to hydrate myself throughout and also why I couldn't finish all of it. The death of the flavor wasn't as intense as others I've tried but I would have to try their beef broth to actually compare it to others. They really came through in the clutch and I'm so glad for that. There's definitely on my list to try again so that I can see if I have a new Pho spot.
