This restaurant surprised us and exceeded our expectations, especially because we didn't expect to find Asian food in this area. The menu has Thai and Chinese dishes. The lunch combinations come with a bowl-sized rice and an egg roll- quite the value for our money! The yellow curry, cashew chicken, sizzling combination & tom yum soup were all good. My husband and I have been coming here for years, and it honestly feels like our little comfort spot. Our go-to order never changes -- the spicy seafood soup, fried rice, and spicy string beans, absolute perfection every time! The flavors are so rich and authentic, it's hard to find anything that compares. We've tried so many other dishes based on the staff's recommendations, and every single one has been delicious, never a miss! It was our first time visiting a Thai restaurant since visiting Thailand and this place did not disappoint! I'm usually kinda picky with pad Thai especially eating such good ones out there but the pad Thai here definitely satisfied my craving. I've eaten at this restaurant a few times, this is the first time I do a lunch take out: orange chicken with shrimp and fried rice. Took it home, settled down to enjoy my food and was SO disappointed. Normally eating in at the restaurant, everything is so fresh and tender...not so, for my take out order of orange chicken...it was dry,tough and possibly had been sitting there for some time, no fried rice (white rice instead) and no shrimp...I did eat the egg roll, it was fresh. They refunded me the meal, minus $1 for the egg roll and failed to refund me the $2 for the non existent shrimp (was on my way home when I realized that)...so eating there is ok...DONT DO TAKE OUT. read more

BY FAR THEEE BEST THAI RESTAURANT ive had!!! From the plates to the flavors etc every single plate here has been soooo good!! My personal favorite is the chicken satay , some of the best chicken kabob & there sauces are amazingggg. I typically don't write reviews, but I had to show some love for the Thai Aree. This is my go to place for Pad Thai, curry, Pad See Ew. Been going for years definitely have to try the teriyaki chicken my kids love it. They deliver it within the area. Whenever I dine in, they give really good family service. A quaint restaurant in a blink and you miss shopping center, Thai Aree may not look like the first restaurant you go to. However, the Thai food here is top notch! I ordered pad Thai, Kai kua and mango sticky rice to share among 3 of us. It took around 15 minutes to get all 3 dishes, which I find to be a good wait time for these meals. All 3 were tasty and had portions that were generous for the price! Overall, you can get some good Thai food at Thai Aree, and I will definitely be coming here for more! read more

Was in the mood for Thai. This spot sounded and looked good. So glad I found this spot. I ordered for pick up, place is nice. The person welcomed us and asked if we're ordering or picking up and asked to give him a minute as he finished an order. He was nice and genuine and wished us well after. All the appetizers were good and I loved how thick and flavorful the sauce was.. I got the Pad Thai with beef. It was flavorful was a good hefty portion. I tried the fiancée combination fried rice and it was full of flavor and the shrimp was cooked perfectly. I'm not the biggest fan of thai food (my one dish is pad see ew) but my husband loves it. He's met coworkers here before and usually get a bunch of dishes and share them. When i went, his coworker got the tom kha kai soup and generously let me have some. WHOAAAAA IT WAS AMAZING!! It had a great balance of coconut milk, lime, and spice flavors. I get mild btw and to me its perfect. The hot pot size is a large portion with plenty to share or to take as leftovers. Their pad see ew is also delicious here. The chicken in the noodle dishes is always cooked really well. Its a clean place and service has always been amazing and attentive. Ive branched out and had 2 dishes i didnt care for - the half chicken (bland and kinda dry) and the 3 meat skewers (same problem). But my husband says its the best pad thai in the world! This was a random spot my coworkers found on Yelp for our team lunch and it was a solid choice. We got here right when they opened and we were greeted by an older gentleman who seemed very friendly and funny. I ordered the Spicy Fried Rice and the man asked for a spice level, which I wasn't expecting. I said a level 2 and he was basically making fun of me, but not in a mean way, because it was so low. I basically told him it's because thai food can be pretty spicy, so I didn't want to aim too high, especially since I had to go back to work after. I thought the rice was good and the spice was slightly there, but definitely could have kicked it up a notch to maybe level 5 or higher. My team and I seemed to like the food there and my boss said she might even recommend it to her boss. It may get a little busy around lunch time, so you might have to be a little patient since it seemed like the man was the only one working the front, although we didn't mind. Overall a good place if you're ever feeling Thai food. read more

As always place is clean, restroom was clean and young man at the front was able to explain the dish with ingredients when I asked. They looked so simple, but they tasted like they had no business being that good. I should've ordered a whole tray and called it a day. For my main dish, I got the basil eggplant and orange tofu with their bomb brown rice. The flavors were so on point I briefly considered standing up and giving the chef a slow clap. Truly restrained myself. Then came the mango sticky rice... and listen, I should've taken a picture because it came out looking like it was ready for a magazine cover. The purple rice they used? Gorgeous. And honestly, I liked it way more than the usual white sticky rice. It felt fancy! On top of all that, the waiter/waitress who helped us was genuinely one of the sweetest and most attentive people I've met in a long time. Their kindness made the whole experience even better. Overall, Green Leaf Thai did not miss. Amazing food, amazing service--I'll be recommending this place to family and friends for sure.
