Rylie was the first stylist in years that I actually saw exclusively. I was looking for a new look a couple years ago and she completely transformed my appearance with her eye for hair, to the extent that numerous people at work began commenting on how good it looked (and I was going to The Gents Place before that, so it's not like I wasn't already spending good money on haircuts.) Her haircutting aside, Rylie always provides a good overall experience. From the moment you walk in when she offers a soda or beer, to her generally chill attitude and pleasant conversation, to the relaxing arm/neck massage and steamed towel on your face, and even the wax-dip for your hands, I always leave feeling relaxed and recharged. Christine came to the rescue and really spent a lot of time messing with my hair and actually styling it. After I got home I noticed it should have been much shorter on the sides. I called her and went right back in the next day and she peeled it the way I wanted it. She's very nice, great conversationalist, professional, skilled and all was good. Just went back for my second cut the other day and she was even more tuned in this time. They also wash your hair if you like and that is a very nice touch. The desk in front of my seat had a ton of clippings covering it. I don't mind it, and it seems obvious that it would happen. This is just for someone who would care about something like this.
