My only complaint has been their use of a weed eater to trim bushes. It spew bush material all over the house walls and windows. The recent rains had our weeds sprouting up like, well, you know, and being busy professionals ourselves, we just didn't have the time to keep up with it. The by-phone estimate for 43,560 square feet of yard was $100. Within 2 hours of our call, a team of 3 fully equipped lawn ninjas were relayed to our property. Due to the deplorable condition of our yard (lots of 2 foot high weeds - yikes- plus a huge hill to mow & weed-eat), the estimate grew to $175, which we were happy to pay to get the yard back under control. Within 90 minutes after *that*, our huge yard had been completely transformed: all grass cut to golf course specs, 200 ft concrete driveway edged, weed-eating done around 20+ trees and the pool fence, steep hillside trimmed perfectly, cuttings mulched back into the lawn. Holy cow! I am impressed. Your experience may vary, but we were lucky to call on the day for which ALM happened to be in our part of town, so we received same day service. What a relief to find a lawn service that is so prompt, thorough, and reliable. Our neighbors will be happy to know that we will now be on the regular biweekly rotation for ALM.

The lawn looked, overall pretty nice, but the mulch strip was a mess with pieces of weeds everywhere and some weeds still in the ground. I noticed some areas on the lawn where the grass was still relatively high. When I pointed out the areas on the lawn Jose became defensive and told me the lawn had been too difficult. When I pointed out the mulch strip he didn't really address it. I paid them and I'll probably have someone fix it up later today. My rating here is reflective of the poor response from Jose when I pointed out the issues. Leaving the mulch strip like this was just ridiculous and really shoddy work. I think he should have taken more time to fix the high areas on the grass. If the yard was too difficult he should have increased the price or said no to the job
