I stop here often to get my post workout smoothie! The staff is always welcoming and is always willing to educate you, in case you have any questions. She doesn't make you feel like you have to buy anything. The ambiance is super quiet but comfortable at the same time, and she makes the smoothies really fast in case you're on a time crunch. read more

A dear friend had been recommending that I visit Yvonne at TFN for years, and I finally went about five months ago. I'm so glad I did! Yvonne took the time to understand my needs and recommended a couple of supplements that have truly transformed my energy levels and helped regulate my hormones. She is incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely cares about her clients. I highly recommend her--I'd give her 10 stars if I could! read more

If you have nutritional issues, I'd certainly recommend you talk with Yvonne at TNF. I did, and learned so much in the time I spent with her. She was a world-class athlete who studied nutrition and now advises athletes and others like me who want to feel better. Her pricing is fair; her knowledge deep. And, she's really pleasant to talk to. I'll definitely be going back. read more

Swung by here after a workout for a post workout smoothie I was in a tropical mood and got the peach lover with peaches, pineapple, and strawberries and added pea protein. My husband got the blue whale and added peanut butter. He was very happy with his choice. I found her smoothies to be priced very well at $5 for a regular and just under $6 for a large We have food allergies so it was nice to know she had different vegan proteins we could use for our smoothies Will definitely be back read more

$5 for a Large 32 ounce Protein Smoothie!!! Are you kidding, it's ridiculously inexpensive. The owner is nice, the store is filled with yummy healthy treats, and the price is just right. After my workout at 24 hour fitness this is the perfect place to refuel. Juiceland & Smoothie King are great options too but for $5 I'll be here more often. read more

Research-based, personalized health support and solutions. Yvonne is an educated genius, but never makes you JUST take her word for it; she pulls up research and shows you. She takes the time to sit, talk with you, and explain everything. Absolute life changer. read more

I had a very poor experience with TFN nutrition I bought a beach chair from them through Amazon that was rated at 300lb capacity- I weigh about 235, When i first began to use it, it collapsed. When I asked them for a return, they told me it was 'out of warranty'. They also told me that they 'hadn't had any complaints' about the chair, when most of the reviews on Amazon were very low rated. if you want to trust them, that's your business, but i will never buy another thing from them again. By the way, I have this all documented in email exchanges. read more

I discovered this place about 10 years ago when I lived in the neighborhood. The owner (an Olympian) and her employees are extremely helpful, positive and friendly. I usually go here for great smoothies, but have also purchased cold-pressed cod liver oil and other nutritional supplements. Conveniently located, well stocked, helpful information and relaxed atmosphere. The HEB is gone, so the landmark to look for is the big Goodwill Store at the intersection of 183/Research Blvd, and Lake Creek Parkway. TFN is over by the gym (far right). read more

TFN is my favorite place to buy my health essentials. Successfully, they have helped guide me through numerous specific health concerns that I have encountered over the past few years. The owner always takes the time to educate, while providing quality products and introducing me to new healthy habits. The personable atmosphere complemented with the owners actual passion for health is irreplaceable. You simply don't get service like this at many other stores. Thanks to TFN, I am continually becoming a healthier and happier person. I can never say "thank you" enough. read more

I have only been into TFN a couple of times. If you are ever driving S on Research Blvd up near the HEB on Lake Creek you will see their TFN white van sitting in the parking lot. Good marketing stratgey. I have only purchased the smoothies there. I am not really interested in a lot of the other supplements they also sell. I must say, the smoothies are really good. The first time I was in there a year or so back, the service was not very friendly. I always try to "chat it up" with people especially in small local businesses and I can't even remember what happened but just remember feeling a little put off. I went in recently and it was totally a different story. The lady working the smoothie bar and cash register was very friendly and helpful. You can't judge a place by one "bad" visit. This is why I am posting this and giving a good review.......too many people on Yelp get upset by one bad instance and never return. I think everyone gets a second chance. Everyone has bad days... I will be going back for more smoothies from TFN! read more

What a crock of ________. The lady working was nice so the star was earned for sure. I got the orange and pineapple "smoothie" and added a lil strawberry, but I should have known the disaster about to unfold in my mouth when the lady said they "only add ice and some distilled water" to them...meaning, I just paid $4 for slightly citrus flavored chopped ice. Blah. I'll save my money next time. read more

I have been shopping at TFN for over a year. This is the best place for supplements Yvonne is the most knowledgeable person I have come across in nutrition and natural healing remedies. Yvonne has helped me so much. She is so nice and attentive. I love this store. read more

I LOVE TFN's SMOOTHIES. Both Yvonne and Chris really know there nutrition. They don't try to sell you supplements for profit....you just tell them what your goals are and they recommend whats best for you. Often its not the most expensive thing on the shelf. Even when i start to get sick I'll go there to talk to Yvonne about it and she will recommend some herbal remedies that always help. read more

Delicious tropical & protein smoothies! I stopped by after a work out and spoke to the friendly staff about supplements and vitamin sources. The owner is very knowledgeable and helpful, great varieties of herbal supplements and I was impressed with the education I receive about Omega oils and enzymes. I have bought online previously, didn't know the sources of the vitamins. Great education for anyone looking into buying good quality supplements for themselves or their families. Smoothies are generous and delicious! Highly recommend!! read more

The business owner here is very knowledgeable and helpful. She has helped us find solutions to various issues using natural products. I prefer the personal service I receive here over the large stores. I highly recommend this place and suggest you get a consult with the owner. The protein shakes are great as well. read more

Not sure who owns the place anymore, but the first and last time I was in the store I had a bad experience. The person working behind the counter immediately started diagnosing me with all sorts of ailments and tried selling me supplements. I told her, I came in for a smoothie, thanks anyway. She would not stop telling me that I needed this supplement because I looked like I had fibroid tumors...Really lady??? I do not recommend this place at all!! read more

Let me start with this is NOT JUST A SMOOTHIE place. 1They do have a huge selection of smoothie options. Pick from the list or ask them to make one exactly how you want it. I love adding yogurt to mine. There are 3 size options available. 2. Great nutrition supplement store as well. The staff and owner are very helpful. They have helped family members, friends and myself become more aware of what our body needs to be healthier and feel great. They are there to help you and truly want people to be as healthy as they can be. 3. I've referred dozens of people to them and have always received wonderful compliments and feedback from all of them. read more

I have been visiting TFN since before they moved to this location. Probably about 5.5 or 6 years ago. They are always very helpful and have always given me exactly what I came for and not upsold me once. I happened to be at the mall and looked at the chain store there but didnt buy since the person was trying to talk me into something I did not want. I will continue to take the extra time to drive the extra 10 min to visit TFN to get great service and only get what I need. read more

I'm big on health and TFN Nutrition Center has become a regular place I go to for everything healthy. They are so knowledgeable there that they can help you with a lot of health challenges and yes the smoothies are great. They are also a Hometown Hero business so if you have a Hometown Hero card you can get a 20% discount. You can get the card at hthcard.com. read more

Yes, the smoothies are good, but I would hardly say that's the main attraction of this place. The supplements are the best out there..no matter what you need. If you go during the week between 10am and 2pm you'll find the owner, Yvonne. She's almost more knowledgeable than a doctor and can help treat anything from fine lines to certain cancers, and everything in between. I've seen others on here complain about service to preferred customers...very silly. There are times during the day when the store gets busy and because so much attention is paid to each customer, one might have to wait to get their individual attention. But one could just as easily call (again, ask to speak to Yvonne) and consult over the phone. This makes it easier to save time by just coming in to pick up what has already been put aside for you. with so many medications out there that have been proven to have harmful long term effects, I trust this store, which invests in a program that makes the latest research readily available to reference. Having someone to do the homework for you is definitely worth waiting a few minutes, in my opinion. This place is worth the drive. read more
