First of all, I live about 30 minutes from this place and just recently found out about it. The fact that it's not more well know is almost criminal. Part of it is the fact that it is in the middle of nowhere. Even going up the driveway there is some apprehension at what awaits. Once you get there, though, it's a beautiful spot. A tasting room set in the middle of a vineyard on a hill surrounded by trees. A great surprise. There is a fairly large selection of wines to fit all kinds of tastes. Even people who have a hard time finding something they like will probably find something to their taste. The flights are well worth it. Staff was friendly and very knowledgeable. As for food, they make their own homemade pizza which was excellent. Except for the fact that it's on the smaller side, I would actually put this up against any place in Fredericksburg. read more

Found this little gem in Huntsville. It was about 15 minutes away from our Airbnb and so glad we checked it out. It's small, but definitely had the best vibes. They had outdoor seating. We ordered flights that were EXTREMELY reasonable in pricing. I had the waitress pick 4 for me, and she didn't disappoint. They had live music, plenty of indoor/outdoor seating and perfect spots to take pictures of girls celebrating a bride. Definitely recommend checking this place out! read more

We were in the Conroe area to do the Sam Houston Wine Trail. Teysha Vineyard is one of a number of wineries as part of this trail. We went on a Sunday as we knew they were only open on the weekend. The drive, to the vineyard, is pretty as this vineyard seems to be located near or within the Sam Houston National Forest. Per previous YELP reviews, that we had read, noted that the driveway might be slightly difficult to navigate...but, that didn't stop us. The entrance is plainly marked and we loved the natural beauty of the area. Upon our arrival, Emmi--our waitress--was very insightful in helping us with our wine choices. Her expertise enabled us to enjoy wines created with their grapes as well as customer favorites. Additionally, Joe and his team worked tirelessly to provide us with a view of a sports event on TV. Their customer service was OUTSTANDING! Many additional reviews indicated that the homemade gourmet pizza was something to try. I am so glad that we did as it was delicious!!! Out of the 3 vineyards we visited, this was my favorite! The rustic feel, the cute patio space! We had a flight of 6 wines - a sparkling rose, 2 reds, 2 sweet whites, and then.. a slightly rose-colored white? They told us what each wine was, but I was too far away to hear. This is my go to Winery. It is quiet, peaceful, and in a beautiful setting. The owners are a pleasure to meet and really want you to have an enjoyable experience. The food is excellent and always a little something extra maybe not on the menu. The wine is superb and there are plenty of choices to pick from. This winery was fast, efficient, kind, and educational on all the details of the winery. They seriously have the best different varieties of wine while have two different types of wine slushes. What a great find in The Huntsville area! The atmosphere was comfortable and inviting with plenty of outdoor and indoor seating, overlooking the vineyard. The tastings are reasonably priced at $12 for 6 tastings and they had a lot of really good wines. They also have a good food truck on site that serves up an awesome fusion of Filipino and Cajun food. Wow! Great reds (I'm a red kinda gal)! That being said the Dry Blanc Du Bois was delicious also! Granny Mary's Cajun-Asian Cuisine food truck was perfect! We take random road trips for local wineries when out camping (this trip was Lake Livingston SP) and we aren't always impressed, but we absolutely were here! This hidden gem of a winery is outstanding! They have a vast selection of wines for just about every palate. The owners and staff are some of the best around. They listen and place customer service at the top of the list. Great seating for any time of the year with spectacular sunsets from the patio and front seating area. The food is delicious and filling just enough to grab another glass! This winery will be on our list of must visit places every time we have the chance. Prices are reasonable for the area too. Overall I really loved the property. They had ample seating inside and outside and it was beautiful. There was a large variety of wines to choose from and many tasting flights to choose from. I chose the Estate wine flight. I received a wine that was not listed in the flight and there was no explanation from the staff as to why one of my 4 wines was not part of the tasting I selected. I'm not sure if they ran out of that particular wine or if it was an error and they didn't realize it. After the wine flight, I ordered a glass of sparkling wine that was on the sweeter side and it was awful, I couldn't finish it. It was thick and syrupy. The other wines I tasted were fine. The charcuterie board was delicious but if that's not your thing, there was a food truck on site. I felt like the service could've been a lot better as the person serving us wasn't very friendly and seemed to give more attention to the large group that was there. I'd come back again if I was in the area but I don't think I'd make a special trip for it based on first impressions. read more

Amazing experience. We went here as part of my sister's bachelorette weekend. The staff was so knowledgeable and helpful! They took such great care of us and were so accommodating. We brought in our own charcuterie board. LOVED the wine and that we could try so many different kinds. They actually gave us large pours for a tasting too. We thought we would give this winery a try today. The customer service was phenomenal. I love the wine flights. The waitress was super knowledgeable. We orders the cheese plate which was so delicious. There was fruit on there and they were not bitter. They had some house special dip that I could have had just that that. We definitely will be back. Honestly I have been to a number of Texas winery's where the wine tasted like sewage. I had the white fight and while there was a wine on there I didn't particularly care for I still thought the flavor was good. My husband had the red flight and loved every one. We have been to many wineries in the past 10 plus years. In many states and overseas. The sample wines are usually served with just crackers and water. Teysha outdid themselves by providing a sample food tray that went from the super sweet to the sour, it was "fabfrigentastic"!
