I am so happy to have found this one stop haven for my grooming needs. The store is well stocked with a wide variety of products including favorite standbys as well as new and noteworthy products. Customer service is outstanding and the owner Teryn is very knowledgeable and patient. In one visit I found a perfect wig, products for my natural hair and makeup accessories. Prices are competitive and good safety practices are in place. I live a few towns over but it's worth the drive. Their website is easy to maneuver; I had browsed it before going to the physical store and will order from there in the future with confidence knowing it's a well managed business with quality merchandise. If you're looking for a place with knowledgeable and friendly staff Textured Tech is the place to visit. I recently went to the Shop to look for items that were nearly impossible to find and they had them in stock. On another occasion I inquired about a leave in conditioner and the next time I visited they had it in stock. When I am in a pinch and can't get to the shop on time they also have online ordering which has been a life saver during this quarantine. I live in the OC prices are not budget friendly. I called Textured Tech the day before, they offered to hold an item for me, I came in and all the girls were so friendly. I was uncertain where things were they walked me and gave me options. It so professional and I didn't find out until I got there they were black owned. The employees are very knowledgeable it's so refreshing. They gained a new customer. Their WiFi went down, they apologized but I wasn't bothered at all I was enjoying taking it all in. Black owned beauty supply store that carries all the goods and beauty supply staples like: Wild Growth Oil, Ebin edge control, Cantu products, jewelry, braiding hair, scarves and hair wraps. Also, they carry human hair weave bundles and have a nice selection of wigs. You name it, they likely carry it. Service is refreshingly amicable. The "How are you?" and smile that I experienced upon entering the store really set the tone for a pleasant shopping experience. The store is organized, clean, and their catchy music playlist may have you stay in the store just a bit longer than you should. An in-house hair stylist (who I believe is part-owner) has a booth inside the store. Ebony was able to squeeze me in and worked on a time constraint because of my prior commitments. She did 2 feed-in braids which cost $85. They look great but not worth $85. However, if I'm being totally transparent, I must admit that $85 is slightly overpriced for 2 feed-ins w/my hair pre-washed. To be fair though, I was informed that they did not yet have a shampoo bowl and I would have to wash my own hair. Still, $85 is steep and hard to justify. If you want to shell out that money, fine, but I certainly won't be. Perhaps under different circumstances, the $85 covers wash, blow dry and feed-ins. Whatever the case, because of the cost, I will get my hair done elsewhere. I will most definitely continue to shop and refer all of my friends, near and far, to Textured Tech though. read more

This beauty supply store is absolutely PHENOMENAL!!! This was my first time here and I LOVE IT! This place has everything you need it even has a wide selection of male hair products. The store is clean, spacious and well organized. The owner is such a sweetheart as well as the other gentleman that was in there, their excellent customer service just comes natural. Also I needed help finding the same braid hair colors I used last time and couldn't remember the owner took her time out to ask me for a picture of the braids I had last time and helped me get the same exact colors I had used! She is also very knowledgeable about hair care and she recommended some good products to restore the health of my daughter's hair. They also have a rewards program so make sure you sign up!!!! I needed braid hair, but my local beauty supply was closed due to COVID-19. I ordered from Textured Tech online and, not joking, my order was processed for shipping a few hours later and delivered the next day. Their service is faster than any other beauty supply can offer or any other retailer, including Amazon, during this pandemic. I also loved that they have several payment options so I didn't have to go dig for my credit card. Did I also mention it's Black-owned and that they carry all the brands for our hair?
