I live in the neighborhood and was tired of driving 45 minutes to get my hair done. I keep my hair bright platinum blonde. As I get older, it gets harder for my hair to pull without damage or brassiness. She did better than my blonding specialist that I payed twice as much for. The salon itself is locally owned, clean, comfortable and has a great neighborhood vibe. They offer a ton of services including massage, headspa, nail services and more. I couldn't be happier with Leah. A few of the other stylists can be a bit overbearing- but I think they are just trying to "help" a less experiences stylist. Because she's fresh to the game she has a very different approach to her clients. I know my hair. I hate when I go to a new "experienced" stylist and they assume they know how to lift and tone my hair. They refuse to listen, and I either leave with purple gray hair or orange tiger stripes. Leah listens, and actually got the specific charcoal bleach that has been a godsend for my course, curly, stubborn hard to lift hair. If you want a high-end quality salon experience without the high-end quality salon price, She is a great way to get in and get the same experience without the insane price tag. I tried beauty bar a few years ago and was a bit underwhelmed with the experience and overwhelmed at the price. I'm so glad I came back after seeing her work on some local community sites and contacting her on FB. She got me in quickly and this is my third trip back.
