I had a great experience at Willow Creek this holiday season. The only service I had time to…read moresqueeze in was a classic manicure, but I was very pleased with the quality in comparison to other non-gel manicures I've had in the past. My aesthetician was young but very professional and thorough, and my manicure is continuing to last over a week without chips (which often times occur with manicures that are not gel or acrylic). I was able to experience the new add-on to the original salon that is their spa area, which was peaceful, clean, and quiet. There were many salon brand hair care products on shelves that I have used in the past and was happy to see offered. The staff was very kind and I was glad to make a stop at Willow Creek. I am definitely interested in coming back next time I'm in town from Chicago for massage services and a mani pedi! The photo attached is of my classic manicure after a week of wear. Still looks great!

I used to come here religiously for YEARS. I had one stylist that I really trusted and so I dealt…read morewith the craziness that I saw, but now that she's gone I feel like I can comment. The owner is very rude, condescending, and overall just gives off witch vibes. Every time I see her or am around her she's so incredibly rude. She is racist as well there was a stylist there that was black and she made comments about how they don't belong. Also, she cut my son's hair once and I'd never let her cut anyone's hair again. The salon also needs some upkeep. It's nice on surface but you do a lot of looking around when you get your hair done and you notice the lack of upkeep. I left when my stylist left and would advise everyone to avoid.

I went in for a cut and color, and unfortunately the entire experience went very wrong. During the…read moreservice, my stylist made a noticeable mistake--there was a large chunk taken out of my hair. Instead of acknowledging it, she insisted it was just my eyes focusing on the contrast between colors. That response alone was frustrating, especially when the issue was clearly visible. The owner, Sarah, was brought over to fix it. She did address one side, but the other side was left uneven and still needed to be matched. Instead of completing the correction, she shifted her attention to her daughter, who also works there, and focused on doing her hair. When she returned to me, she simply said she had been working all day, was leaving, and that my cut would be complimentary. While I understand the gesture, I expressed that I didn't want a free service--I wanted my hair fixed. Unfortunately, there was no interest in making that happen. The appointment lasted five hours, and by the end of it, I was completely overwhelmed. I can have grace for a newer stylist making a mistake--what I can't overlook is the lack of accountability and professionalism. A simple acknowledgment and apology would have gone a long way. What was most disappointing was the owner's response. My husband called the next day on my behalf because I was so upset, and she never returned his call. Hair trauma is real. This experience has left me anxious and honestly afraid to trust another stylist. Very disappointing overall.
