Mark provided an AMAZING FISHING TRIP!!! He was simply stellar! Sure he knew the good spots and…read morebest bait. Sure all the other guides were calling him for tips because they weren't getting bites. But! Mark made fishing fun and exciting for those of us that prefer to cast/reel and not so much with touching the fish. He kept all our poles well baited and in the water! We caught our limit and had a blast!

Four words: HIRE A FISHING GUIDE!…read more Epic day on Lake Texoma, catching plenty of Stripers! Our fishing guide, RANDY, put us on fish from the get go. He knows this lake, inside and out. We had originally called another company (that advertises obnoxiously here - couldn't escape their ads). When we called, they were all booked up for weeks. I decided to look on Google maps to find other guides nearby. So glad we did!!! "Adventure Texoma" (not to be confused with another place with a very similar name!) popped up. Mark answered the phone, had availability when we wanted to book, and said we'd be with Randy. Easy-peasy. We showed up with our $12 Lake Texoma fishing licenses (acquired in town), and Randy supplied everything thing we needed to fish! We had 6 poles in the water for the most part, and lost count of fish, but it's tied over a dozen a piece! My husband also caught a good sized catfish (our largest fish of the day)! I also caught a freshwater drum, and the largest striper of the day! We agreed to call it a draw. Decided to catch and release them all. Probably should have kept one of the bigger stripers. Nevertheless, what a fun and fulfilling day! We we comfortable, and Randy is an easy guy to talk to. Thanks for everything!

They had a bottle of jack Daniels and a bottle of wine sitting out. told them we had no gas and the boat was barely ableTo make it to the fuel dock. They went absolutely crazy when I told them we tried to fill up but weren't sure because the gas attendant said the fuel gage was broken. They said it had gas in the other tank. I said that no one told us there was another tank and no one told us not to fill up. She got in my face saying I was going to be buying her boat. Her husband then screamed at me and used the F word in front of my 3 kids, and 3 other families kids. These people should be in a mental facility, not owning a boat renting service.

They arrive only to get a lame story that we had to be 25 to RENT a jet ski and it was STATE LAW!! What state? Certainly not TX or OK! Liar! This was July 6th on a Friday. The lady at the counter refused to rent the other jet ski out . She only let my husband rent one. .. There IS NO SUCH LAW and I don't know if it was because my nephews were young and brown skinned... and she was just being a racist POS , but I know Little Mineral & Red duck will NEVER get my business again! If you don't want Certain people of color and ages renting your equipment then Post it! I can't imagine why you would lie to them. Your Little business ruined what was supposed to be a day of fun, that they have once a year with us! Thanks a lot! . I will MAKE CERTAIN that everyone I KNOW in this area hears how you treated these boys!! Such BS

I learned from the two young men working yesterday that once COVID threat has subsided this location will begin renting paddle boards, kayaks, canoes, and pontoon boats again. In the meantime, the store is recently re-opened and sparsely supplied with some basic camping supplies, snacks and drinks, Havana flip flops, hot/cold thermoses/water bottles, and yacht club tanks/tees for sale. It's a small, humble establishment but was doing some steady business fueling boats. **I'd love to see this place offering fresh burgers/deli sandwiches but maybe that'd bring too much of a crowd of hungry boaters;). Speaking of hunger--to support this local business, I purchased my first ever pickle in a pouch! It was a a Tapatio's Salsa Picante and it was delicious!! My partner was skeptical but enjoyed his fair share;) Fortunately, there are many trash bins throughout the state park (where we headed after) to dispose of the leftover pickle juice and pouch. If you're supplied with some whiskey, this would be great for campsite/onboard picklebacks!!
