I understand that Nellis is a liquidation/returns business and that mistakes can happen. However, I have experienced repeated issues with items not matching their listings, including items advertised as "NEW" that arrived opened and clearly used, completely incorrect items, and merchandise that was dirty, damaged, incomplete, or otherwise not as described. For example, I received lashes that had clearly been used, with glue all over the tweezers and missing lashes. I also received a small black shirt when the listing was for a two-pack of bras. I checked both items before leaving the Katy location and returned them the same day. I later discovered an issue with the press-on nails after getting home, and I also received a Hunter crossbody bag that was dirty and did not appear new as advertised. I live approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes from the Katy location with traffic. I don't mind making the drive when I receive what I actually bid on. But when items are repeatedly inaccurate, I am expected to make that same long trip again to return merchandise because of errors that occurred on Nellis's end. Even more concerning was something a Nellis employee at the Katy location told me. The employee stated that staff open items in the back and sometimes use or remove items such as lashes or other merchandise. The employee advised me to check everything before leaving to make sure it is accurate, unbroken, and unused when the listing says it is new. I cannot personally verify everything I was told, but hearing this from an employee was extremely concerning and raised serious questions about how merchandise is being handled. I contacted customer service and asked management to review the situation. I explained that I was not returning items because I changed my mind; I was returning them because they were inaccurate or not as described. I also raised concerns about being penalized for returns caused by inaccurate merchandise. The manager's response did not address those concerns. Instead, I received a generic explanation of the 7-day return policy and was told to use "caution and common sense" when bidding. Customers should be able to reasonably rely on an item being accurately described as "NEW." I requested further escalation and offered to provide photographs and documentation. I never received another response. A return policy is not the same thing as accountability for inaccurate listings. If you bid with Nellis, inspect EVERYTHING before leaving the pickup location, regardless of what the listing says. If you live far away, be prepared to potentially make the trip twice when an item is incorrect, used, damaged, or not as described. I genuinely wanted to enjoy using Nellis Auction, but repeated inaccurate items, the inconvenience placed on the customer(s), and the lack of meaningful management follow-up have completely changed my experience.

After the lunch, each veteran was given Magnolia Gardens auction bucks to bid on items from furniture, clothing, appliances, and miscellaneous items. She made it fun! They had so much fun and seeing the joy on their faces for being invited to this special day for them meant so much! As a volunteer, it meant a lot to my husband and to me. They were continually thanked for their service and we all received many hugs of appreciation when they were leaving. Her auctions are also fun! She offers unique furniture, antiques, clothing, outside furniture, jewelry and so many treasures. I highly recommend this business.
