In the description it read NEW, which meant it has not been used and still in manufacturer' s condition. I opened the kit and two of the syringes have been used along with the mouth Gard. I was blown away. It was very nasty and unsanitary. When items are returned no one is checking them before placing back in QUE to bind on item. If the workers would inspect the products than this problem would be curtailed tremendously. I remember a while ago, a manager expressed to me the staff don't read and inspect, they scan and place on shelf for bidding. Then after sending an email not looking for anything in return just wanted to express my thoughts. This place is a clown show. They pay no attention to detail in listing their products. Their listings are fictional at best. Just yesterday I picked up a gas can that had NO SPOUT. LOL Lot's of wasted time spent returning products that don't match descriptions. They intentionally inflate retail pricing to give you the perception you are getting a better deal. I say intentionally because even after reporting the inflated pricing they take ZERO corrective actions. In fact even worse they continue to list the inflated prices across several additional auctions selling the exact same product for weeks listing it at 2X the actual retail price or sometimes worse 15X for a garage door opener keypad. $450+ for a $31 keypad. They could care less about your reports or you as they reply with cut and paste templates and promises of escalating to management with a management response that NEVER happens. They're just money grabbers with no concern for their customers; who lie to their customers. They clearly have zero intention of a taking any corrective action even after almost 50 reports submitted just by me. Lest you think this is from a newbie I have bought hundreds of items there but have significantly scaled back due to their complete lack of anything resembling customer service or professionalism. What a wild concept. I say that because is it close out? Is it liquidation? Is it a pallet return store? I was driving by weekly as they were building the property to get to Bridgeland on 99. I looked at their website *then* to get an idea of what type of auction. Seemed kind of like a funky niche of items. My mom told me about it & said a friend of hers buys frequently from there. She found a 99 cent pair of pantyhose. Again with the niche... lol Then, I saw a guy bidding on a peloton bike at my son's Christmas program. We've been needing a new washing machine because our 6 year old one had enough. Something told me to check Nellis. Boom. A brand new, still in box Kenmore. I won for $297. We picked it up & again what a wild concept! Their building is massive. There's a small pickup area for you to grab your item(s). When you drive behind the building, there's tons of empty 18 wheelers, pallets nearly stacked, bays full of discarded items that I guess arrive broken? Pickup was mostly organized. The QR code to check in wasn't working so an employee was nice to tell me, "I'll need your phone number." I gave it to him, some guy flung the washer in to the bed of our truck lol, and another guy told me he needed a 4 digit code. None of the emails, app notifications, or appointment settings said anything about a 4 digit code. It's supposed to be the last 4 of your phone number, FYI. I first heard about Nellis from a Yelp review and thought it sounds too cool to not explore. Glad I did! Although beware, you will get lots of dopamine hits and your competitive side might come out - it is an auction after all! Let me start by saying the Nellis site is so well done. It is easy to navigate on your phone, has great filters, and updates pretty much in real time so you can see where you are in the bidding process. If someone outbids you on an item, it also sends you a text message with a link to quickly go back to the item to rebid. You will also get a text message in the last few minutes of an item being available, which is very helpful. The other reviews are very helpful in saying that some of these items are used. Be cautious in your search - any new items will be marked "new". Also pay attention to details like "assembly required", "missing parts", etc. I like to filter by 5 star quality and look at the pictures before I decide to bid. I am more comfortable bidding on some used items than others. Once you win an item, it says you have 7 days to place an appointment to pick it up, although it felt like the options I had to choose from were all less than 7 days out, so beware of the time constraints. Their warehouse is in Katy near 99 and the hours I was able to choose from were 7AM to 4:45PM on weekdays and weekends, so beware there may not be evening hours to choose from (important to know if you were planning on picking up your item after your 5PM job). It was a decent drive for me, so I would recommend either picking up your item(s) on the weekend and try to bundle multiple items in one pickup so it is worth a longer drive. If I lived closer, I would bid more freely. At pickup, there is a QR code to scan and someone brings your item to you. However, when I was trying to scan the code, someone just knocked on my window and asked my name (it was early AM and scared me tbh). The item literally came within 30 seconds. Be aware of cones out too - they are meant to direct traffic but made it more confusing for me because it looks like you aren't able to enter, but I think you actually are. I ended up driving all the way around the building to get to the spaces. read more

Very poor customer service. No way by phone to contact live support, only by sending a message or text but never get a reply. Merchandise is a hit or miss, you can get a bargin or you may end up with a headach. You may waste time and gas returning your item back. If its a huge and its out of the box and missing parts, now you have to place it back in the box andnow you have to make sure it fits to return it. Think twice before purchasing at Nellis. I am a first-time shopper at Nellis in Katy. I purchased three items from the Katy location. All were listed in good condition and every single item was damaged. I bought a neon sign that didn't light up. I bought a beach chair and when i sat in it, 115 lbs, it fell to the ground and I hurt my back. Get home (because let's be honest: you really get a rushed feeling) and see 4/4 so I went online to find that now there is an updated note that it was only box 4. Then the audacity of having the rest of the boxes on sale with the same picture. The nerve to not give me the whole bed but instead of reaching out, they just go forth to sell the rest of the bed as a separate auction. The foul part is if you were to win both it passes the estimated retail. My first use of Nellis and this left a very sour taste in my mouth about the establishment, care for the customer, and overall mass push to sell to the ever lining up people. Decent experience with our first experiment eith this place. It is busy and the pickup process looks a bit chaotic, but actually works pretty well. You're buying stuff right unseen, much of which appears to be Amazon returns. That bit us through no real fault of Nellis, the appliance we bought was clearly an Amazon return and some lowlife had obviously bought a new model the same shape as their old one, transferred the product stickers including the serial number and model number to the old, used, less featured one and returned it in the new box. I only caught it when the QR code on the back led to an owner's manual that in no way matched what was in the box or matched the model number. Nellis has a no questions asked return policy so we boxed it back up and returned it the next day, Return was the same simple process as pickup, give them your number and they come to your car. 2 days later I got a full refund credited to my card. So nothing lost besides a couple of trips to Katy. As others have said, best if you can check your purchase when you pick it up, but they do make returns easy. We're watching the site now and would not hesitate to roll the dice again for a bargain. I will say we ended up finding the same item from a 99% rated Ebay seller for about the same price we won the auction for, so do your homework and don't get sucked into Auction Fever. read more

Bought several items for a baby. All were four star items and stated new and in box. First one was a stroller and yes it was new and great price. Second one was a crib that was new in box which bed was cracked and could not return it as i bought over the holidays causing the missed window. Then bought a king size blanket new in box yes it was new in box however was a twin size. They are just trying to sell junk that people have returned. Final was a dresser with seven drawers. Came with one drawer and bent frame. Very hit and miss with the items. I've won quite a few items. But a few times they're listings have inaccurate info. Recently won a hardcase pink luggage set listed as new, but it's been used for sure-it was cracked and dirty all over! Even the mini cosmetic case had stains on the inside. Another small luggage had a defective lock. Luckily I hadn't locked all the zippers and had a tsa key to unlock it. I suggest documenting all your items through pics/videos so then if you run into issues with nellis denying returns then you can dispute with your bank. I've had great luck with some items, like new $3 jackets and vests, $20 bedding sets and other random things. I have to return those 2 luggage sets and pick up a different one tomorrow(along with a chandelier). Hopefully no issues and both new items are actually new as listed.
