This place is a clown show. They pay no attention to detail in listing their products. Their listings are fictional at best. Just yesterday I picked up a gas can that had NO SPOUT. LOL Lot's of wasted time spent returning products that don't match descriptions. They intentionally inflate retail pricing to give you the perception you are getting a better deal. I say intentionally because even after reporting the inflated pricing they take ZERO corrective actions. In fact even worse they continue to list the inflated prices across several additional auctions selling the exact same product for weeks listing it at 2X the actual retail price or sometimes worse 15X for a garage door opener keypad. $450+ for a $31 keypad. They could care less about your reports or you as they reply with cut and paste templates and promises of escalating to management with a management response that NEVER happens. They're just money grabbers with no concern for their customers; who lie to their customers. They clearly have zero intention of a taking any corrective action even after almost 50 reports submitted just by me. Lest you think this is from a newbie I have bought hundreds of items there but have significantly scaled back due to their complete lack of anything resembling customer service or professionalism. Lying to customers is never a good business strategy. Neither is willful negligence. RUN AWAY FAR AND FAST read more

PSA 1. customer service says they do not need to help you load anything. And they wheel out deep big bins so be sure you are young and are willing to lift and load everything. And if you ask for help I am told they do not have to help 2. Pet supplies can be expired, have pee, vomit , hair, stink like a skunk 3. Open and check every box , while you are still there- there have been a few that were taped shut but empty 4. Lots of key missing parts 5. Telephone Customer service is a reactive robot 6. Help ticket generates a tough for you response 7. remember the cheap usually comes out expensive one way or another. 8. This is out towards 99 so know the drive and there is usually a wait- even if you get in line and get to a spot you can be left there waiting for over an hour 9. Unfortunately if they valued customers and customer service was customer forward you could forgive a lot but they are NOT read more

Bought several items for a baby. All were four star items and stated new and in box. First one was a stroller and yes it was new and great price. Second one was a crib that was new in box which bed was cracked and could not return it as i bought over the holidays causing the missed window. Then bought a king size blanket new in box yes it was new in box however was a twin size. They are just trying to sell junk that people have returned. Final was a dresser with seven drawers. Came with one drawer and bent frame. I have deleted my account and will pay extra for brand new and peace of mind and best its coming to my door instaed of driving to pick up someones returns they used and destroyed. Be careful and wise and inspect before you leave when and if you purchase from Nellis. read more

Very hit and miss with the items. I've won quite a few items. But a few times they're listings have inaccurate info. Recently won a hardcase pink luggage set listed as new, but it's been used for sure-it was cracked and dirty all over! Even the mini cosmetic case had stains on the inside. Another small luggage had a defective lock. Luckily I hadn't locked all the zippers and had a tsa key to unlock it. I suggest documenting all your items through pics/videos so then if you run into issues with nellis denying returns then you can dispute with your bank. I've had great luck with some items, like new $3 jackets and vests, $20 bedding sets and other random things. I have to return those 2 luggage sets and pick up a different one tomorrow(along with a chandelier). Hopefully no issues and both new items are actually new as listed. Video shows "used" purple luggage that looked new -$20 total for a checkin 24inch (if not its a 26) and also included a carryon roller and small bag. read more

Review for Nellis Auction I've been a longtime customer of Nellis Auction Houston, and have spent several thousand dollars on items through their site. In the past, I appreciated the convenience and the helpful customer service that was available by phone. Even when I occasionally received items that were damaged or unusable, the issues were typically resolved in a fair and timely manner. Unfortunately, my recent experiences have been disappointing and concerning: 1. Bidding concerns: I've noticed patterns in bidding that raise questions about fairness. On several occasions, bids have jumped to match my maximum bid almost instantly. While I can't confirm any wrongdoing, this has made me uneasy about the transparency of the bidding process. 2. Pickup delays: A few weeks ago, I picked up over $500 worth of items. What used to be a 5-10 minute process turned into nearly an hour, with 20 minutes in line and another 30 minutes waiting after parking. I observed several staff members standing around without assisting customers, which was frustrating. 3. Customer service and account access: I mistakenly placed an extremely high bid due to a computer input error. I canceled the bid immediately, but was still charged a cancellation fee. Since there's no longer phone support, I contacted customer service by email to explain. Rather than working with me to resolve the issue, my account was blocked until the fee was paid--despite my long and consistent history with the company. I'm sharing this review in the hope that Nellis Auction takes these concerns seriously and works to improve transparency and customer support. I'd like to see this business return to the level of service and trust it once provided. read more

I absolutely LOVE Nellis! I found it via my aunt shortly after becoming pregnant and boy did this place help make being first time parents AFFORDABLE!!! Brand new items from clothes, mattresses, pack n plays, strollers and car seats! That was almost a year ago and I will utilize Nellis for decor, appliances and miscellaneous accessories for our home. The website is easy to navigate, the pickup and returns are quick and hassle free and the variety of items are what keeps me coming back. I swear my life has been forever changed for the better and I have even gotten some of my friends hooked too! read more

I've really enjoyed having this Auction close by. Everytime I need to purchase and item I always look here first and usually find what I need. I've only got one item that was broken (not mentioned in description) but they made it right. Honestly, if I open a package and it's broken or not as the description stated then it's understandable. These items have been passed around so much and for what kind of savings you get typically returning something for my money back is not a big deal as some make it! One of my favorite parts of this company and there pick up operation is how friendly everyone is. That goes a long way with me! Not to mention their quick with loading you up depending on how busy it is. I'd come on a week day if possible. I type this review as I wait in the parking lot of Nellis haha. And although my wife hates it... I LOVE it!!! read more

I ordered an item with inventory number 1050080239, but they gave me one I didn't choose, and I won it. Please assign a supervisor to fix this poor service; this has happened to me before. I need an immediate refund and compensation for my wasted time. read more

I have gotten many items from them and have found probably half of the items to be broken in some way even though their description says it isn't broken and then if you don't open it within 7 days, they won't take it back even though their description was a lie. They need to check their items which they obviously aren't and advertise correctly for the auction. read more

You can theoretically get good deals at Nelli's Auction, just keep in mind that used/open items can be questionable in terms of whether they actually work, are missing parts, or even if there was some level of fraud (e.g. someone returned a different item in the original box). I've experienced a few items that were "good deals" but ended up being a broken Brother printer, an expensive Anker 150W 4 port charger that was actually a much cheaper/weak UGREEN 65W 4 port charger which I assume someone fraudulently returned to Amazon. My $0.02, skip all the used items especially if it requires assembly. If you have time, open and inspect everything at time of pickup. If it's not exactly what you won or condition is poor, process the return right there on your account and return before leaving. If you live far away from Nellis, my opinion is to skip it completely as you could potentially waste much of your time driving here to pick up won bids and end up needing to return an item. read more

I won the bid for a computer evidently the Nellie people didn't like my winning bid and thought they could get more for it so they canceled my order and relisted the same computer same inventory number for the auction the next day I do not recommend these people and also they have their people run the bids up on certain items read more

CAUTION - They are horrible about verifying the items they list. Listing items as complete with no issues, only to unbox and discover missing part of the order. Go back online to see the same item listed the day I picked it up, using the same pictures, now listing as partial when I still had the original purchase in my hand. It has been about a 40% return rate on our purchases for the last few months. NO QUALITY CONTROL. Can not contact them directly, only through email, with AI responses on how they give you 7 days to drive an hour back to them for a refund. Most of their pickup personnel are very good, but you will get a few who are rude and do not care about service. Pick up is fast, but very chaotic. read more

If I could give this review zero stars I would. I have frequented this site for several months now and service was great except now they keep extending the auction to raise the bids. That's ridiculous and unfair. They extended it six times for a total of 3 minutes! I was winning at $125 but they kept allowing it to raise. read more

Nellis Auction - Time extended - Auction Houses Near Me - Katy, Texas

It is a big hit and miss with product description versus what you actually receive. Many items are broken or missing pieces. Return process is a hassle and they have never properly issued a "store credit". I have had several items damaged due to the negligence by whoever opens the items. They cut open the boxes with a razor. It is a big square cut in the middle of your package. The teenage work team at pickup is rude. They use to load the items, now they just leave the bin at the trunk of your car. The concept is great, the execution could definetly use improvement. read more

I'm always finding the best bargains at Nellis Auction! So easy to bid and pick things up quickly!

Dogwater, workers literally don't give a s*** about the products They add the item to the page saying the item is basically new but when you buy and you go pick it up the items are in bad conditions and some of them are cracked or even they give you the wrong items and they say it's your fault , even though they put the wrong description and the wrong pictures, I wouldn't recommend this business but up to yall read more

I've been here a few times but haven't been in a while. It is now a one way entrance (which makes sense due to all the traffic) so I tried to reverse into the last spot to turn around and was told I couldn't do that by a younger looking Hispanic guy with facial hair. My response, "Why not? There's quite a few other spots open and I just want to reverse." He kept telling me repeatedly I couldn't do that but with cars behind and in front of me there was no other way to clear traffic and turn around. Next thing I know there's another associate (black young girl with braids and glasses) also yelling at me to move. HOW?? Then what I can only describe as an @$$h0le in a large white truck starts cussing at me without knowing the situation. NEVER AGAIN!! I'm sure you don't need my business but I was one of your very first customers and recommended you to many people, which I now regret. I will now be doing the opposite as I'd rather pay full price and know exactly what I'm getting than to be cussed at and treated like a child, even after doing what I've been told. As far as the items. They're hit or miss. Sometimes they work and other times they don't or there are missing parts. Save your time, your money and most importantly your sanity by staying the hell away from here! I know I will. read more

This business stole $414.00 and 89.00 dollars out of our checking account by double billing me for items we bought. They have refused to contact us to correct this issue. We are having to file theft report to the authorities in order in an attempt to get reimbursed. read more

Nellis listings are usually inaccurate to a point where the question has to be asked, how in the world could anyone list this broken piece of junk as "functional, no damage, and no missing parts"? Either the employees there are stupid, they don't even look at the item, or they don't care. Probably all of the above. When I finally looked at a purchased item, listed as 5 green stars, I found it used, broken, and missing parts. Of course it was 8 days after I purchased it. I reached out to Nellis, opened a ticket, and all I got was a canned message about the 7 day rule for returns. I reopened the ticket as an unsatisfied customer, asking for a phone call, and all I got was crickets. BEWARE. NELLIS HAS NO INTEGRITY. read more

Spend hours bidding/winning auctions. Show up and they have lost half the items. I have ordered many times and NEVER have received my entire order if I am picking up more than 20 items. Do not get attached to your winnings until they are actually in your car. It's an absolute nightmare with no organization. Yesterday they gave 11 -yes 11 -of my items to someone else. This is normal for them. The line on weekends is over an hour long so be prepared to wait and be furious and frustrated.
