It is now 8-5-23 and NO refund. They won't call you back, won't answer but every 4th or 5th e-mail saying the same thing. I reached someone by phone 2 times assuring me that it's been issued. Proxibid (whom I bought it through won't do anything) so I've contacted Texas Dept. of licensing and Regulations, sent them all correspondence and still nothing. If you like to be stolen from, then this is the place. I've read more bad reviews than positive and won't be buying a gun online ever again.

But when clearing out the house of what wasn't sold, walls and staircase were purposely damaged by the company because they were upset about the repair interruption of their sale and commission grabbing. Damage like this doesn't happen by accident and it cause further issues for my clients and the people purchasing their home. And Apex did nothing to resolve the issue.

I've dealt with other ATX locations and had great experiences, but the one in Houston on Afton is a…read moredisaster. By far, the worst customer service I've ever encountered. I won over $1,200 in merchandise. I was unable to pick it up over Memorial Day weekend. I texted them regularly to keep them informed. They said no problem. Two weeks ago I sent a text asking if I could pick up today, Monday June 28. He responded "yes". We got a U-Haul in the rain and drove to Houston from San Antonio. We get there and they're not open on Mondays. I call the number and the guy comes to the office begrudgingly (and his buddy accompanied him). At this point, I'm wondering why he said I could pick up the merchandise on a day they're closed, but whatever. He asks my name, punches it into the computer, and says "Shit!", then "Fuck!". Eventually he tells me the items have been resold. I said it was pretty lousy to not tell me, particularly since I had been texting him regularly. His buddy said the invoice stated all items would be sold in two weeks if not picked up. I asked then why he would text me that there was no problem and I could pick up my items, and the guy said he gets over 300 texts and how could he be expected to keep up with them all. Then I questioned the company's business plan if it was so chaotic he was giving misinformation to people. At one point he said I wasn't being appreciative of the fact he was there on Monday, taking time away from his kids. What the..?!? I refused to leave until they gave me a receipt showing a full refund. As best I can tell, you pay for your items in advance, and if you don't pick them up, they resell them without telling you, and in fact tell you it's no problem to pick it up later, and there is no automatic refund system in place. This whole experience was a disaster. Worst. Customer. Service. EVER.

Had miscommunication with Jeff but he handled it promptly and took care of it. Thanksread more

I attended an estate sale and purchased a large, heavy mirror. I realized I wouldn't be able to…read morehelp carry it, so I asked a staff member if someone could assist. She told me yes and mentioned a tip for the person who helped. A gentleman then helped my husband carry the mirror down the stairs. At the top of the stairs, a woman who I believe is named Brittany Y. began following closely behind them on the staircase, which felt unnecessary and made an already difficult situation more stressful. Once downstairs, I handed a cash tip directly to the gentleman. At that point, Brittany took the money from his hand and immediately asked me if I had more to give. When I said "excuse me," she responded, "Not trying to be tacky, but can you give him more money?" I declined. Instead of leaving it there, she remained outside harassing me while my husband and I secured the mirror and continued to ask us for more money. During this time, she told me that "this is her business, and the employee only makes $15 an hour and she doesn't have insurance for them to move things". This was uncomfortable and inappropriate. Discussing an employee's wages and internal policies with a customer-- and especially asking for more money--is highly unprofessional. I did apologize just to end the interaction, but the situation should never have escalated this way. I was willing to tip for help, but being pressured repeatedly and having the money taken from the employee was unacceptable. While I appreciate the help from the gentleman, this experience left a very negative impression. If employees are not supposed to assist with moving items, Brittany could have said something before they started down the stairs.
