First time using this auction place and it could not have been better! I purchased a rather large piece of furniture, it was big and heavy! They loaded it in my pickup, covered it with a tarp I brought and used tie downs to secure the load. The 2 guys who loaded my piece were so amazing. And also my truck was brand new and they took extra care not to scratch or damage my truck by me hauling this piece of furniture. I will definitely buy from again. Thanks for such a wonderful experience!! read more

My dealings with Auctions Unlimited have been efficient and fair. Staff is helpful and friendly. I'll continue to be a customer.

This auction company uses stock photos of new products to sell broken, used items they have implied by photos and omitting whether item is new but, as is usually the case, extremely USED products. I gave them more than a few chances, but often the items were not even the right ones in the box! They got mad when I opened boxes to check to see that what was in the e box was the actual items I purchased, and when multiple things were obviously used, filthy, old, and in even one case, the lightbulb in a lamp had burned and discolored the base, they refused to refund. I was there at pick up inspecting the items, and they got angry they were busted trying to sell broken, used items with new stock photos. These people are untrustworthy, dishonest, and you cannot trust items you buy from them. You cannot trust what is in the box to be the item you purchased, and you cannot trust it is in working condition. Beware. read more

Tim and Melissa and all their staff are amazing. I love this auction house, everyone is always friendly and helpful. They always have a smile on their face and help load heavy items. They are very flexible about pick up times. They actually allow you pick pick a time over a 3 day period which is so helpful for people that work. So much better than other auction houses that only have a one day pick up in a small window so if life happens then your just SOL. I just want to say that I love, love, love Melissa and Tim. read more

The owner Tim Worstell is a flat out crook. Doing business with a man like this is not advised. I should have realized the guy was up to shady business when he had me meet him at a storage unit with one of his "workers" instead of himself. The next red flag should have been when his worker was upset that he sold a margarita machine that the worker had already made an offer on $200 higher than what I was purchasing. I believe the worker may have felt this was racially motivated or that I was his friend of some sort but I am not a friend of Tim's and the reason he wasn't selling it to his worker was because he knew that he was selling me broken junk. After getting the equipment home and further inspecting it I could see where Tim had tried to do shady repairs on the equipment to pass it off as working. He had tried to silicone areas behind the seal on a margarita machine and even tried to duct tape areas. Whats more is after letting the owner know I would get the law and anyone who could help me legally rectify this situation involved he decided to call my phone and send threatening text messages rather than return my money for having sold me something that he knew was broken in the first place. Stay away from this business at all costs. read more

Let the buyer beware regarding this company. I have gotten some good deals on some merchandise but I have also been taken on other things that should never been up for sale. A good number of items listed in these auctions are buyer returns due to some issue other than the customer changing his mind. I have found mechanical items that were clearly marked by the return store as defective on the outside of the box but they were still put up for auction. Other issues were cases of candy past the sell date, king sheet sets that were torn down the middle once unfolded, throwing knives that were not listed as mini's but appeared in the pics as full size, gasoline blowers that quit running once tilted and many more problems, some the seller took responsibility for and some not. I highly recommend that if you can come in and test or examine each item before bidding, you will find that they are not always what they seem to be. The invoice that you sign when you pick up your auction items clearly states they are not responsible for anything in respect to quality or condition. I have spoken to employees there and they are very aware that some buyers return the items that don't work to a box store that sells them for a new, working item, so they don't care it they are a returned item that was defective. read more
