Referees often don't ref, rules aren't enforced, and we witnessed multiple kids get hurt this past season. The whole point of flag football is non-contact play and teaching kids teamwork and rules -- but instead, the lack of oversight has made it chaotic and unsafe. When parents or coaches try to raise safety concerns, some referees become argumentative rather than taking accountability. If you value your child's safety, I'd strongly recommend looking elsewhere. We will no longer support this club until major changes are made, and I suggest other parents do the same.

They claim they cannot do the practices due to make up games for the rest of the season. There was only one practice and all the kids played street ball instead of real basketball during the games. My eight-year-old was in a 7 to 8 year-old league and ended up playing nine and 10-year-olds in the playoffs. The other team's kids were telling them their ages. You usually can see one or two kids in the entire league where you question their age. This team had five or six players that all looked over eight years old. I don't think this league checks ages or enforces them. It's pretty sad to allow a team to play down an age bracket just to win a championship.

We aren't able to play at the current location so we requested a refund or credit. They said they do not give refunds or credits as stated on their website. It also stats on your website we would be playing at the location we selected and would practice for 1 hour each week. To add insult to injury, we do not have a coach. They said this happens and a ref can help - still no credit or refund. Definitely don't use this league there are too many other good ones out there.

The rec center itself has a gym is well equiped with all brand new equipment. Two levels of cardio equipment, numerous exercise machines by Precor, a free weight area and a stretching, calisthenic area. There's also an indoor walking trail for inclement weather but you need to walk the outdoor trail that circles two bodies of water and is very well designed. The staff at the rec center is friendly and capable. If you have never been to a gym, it could be intimidating on the first visit but there are capable trainers that might be a good investment for a beginner. This is not like a big chain operation in that there's no music blaring and you don't need to invest in designer workout clothing. There are men and women of all ages and the place has great operating hours. I like to go early (They open at 5:00 weekdays, 8:00 on Saturday and 1:00 on Sunday. They stay open until the evening.The cost is less than other Gyms and they have a discounted price for seniors.
