I also added the extra weekly shots of b12, etc. The ladies in the office are super helpful with ideas of what to do and tips and tricks of diet. The Dr was super friendly and very helpful as well. I had a CT scan with contrast that was all clear minus a very small ovarian cyst. He advised me that no other type of scan would help and that there is nothing a CT scan with contrast could have missed that's related to my symptoms. He also said sometimes he wishes he could fake symptoms to get scans so he could rule out anything serious. That made me tear up and I told him that I am not faking symptoms to get scans - he immediately said he wasn't implying that. Just that I'm lucky to know it's not cancer or something more serious. My father has stage 3 colon cancer , my best friend has breast cancer, my work supervisor and friend"s mom has stage 4 brain cancer - so yes, I agree it's great a CT scan did not show any signs of that. Said I should come back if this gets worse (I went to see him because it was getting worse and my PCP had told me maybe I just needed a vacation). As any parent of a kid like mine knows , we don't have time to go to the doctors for ourselves. If I'm here , it's because it's already worse.

The office is very well organized, they have bariatric patients as well as general surgery patients. Jenna is his nurse And his been with him likely longer than I've been his patient as she was there when I went in for my bariatric consultation years ago. Last month Dr Fass did surgery on a large Para-esophageal Hernia with Nissan Fundiplication-he used a DaVinci Robot-He advised a 3 day post op stay-he did such a great job and I was up and about the next morning independently in my room-i discharged on day 2 post operation. He visited me daily. I like his bedside manner, He is caring but very confident and gives explicit directions on follow up care. Prior to surgery he gave me a very good picture of what to expect. He even advised there was a YouTube video that I could observe on the procedure he would be doing. He did not require any gastric surgery to be done when I had this repair unlike another surgeon where I was being treated prior. My incisions healed very nicely and very quickly with no signs or symptoms of infection. I highly recommend Dr. Steven Fass for general surgery as well as bariatric surgery.

I have called multiple times to try to get an appointment with Dr. Peng and she creates barriers to entry. When I ask if we can get scheduled this week, she is never accommodating; instead, advises he can't see us until next week or later in the month. I ask if she can advise of cancellations, and she advises we just need to check in. Really?! Past receptionists have always been amenable to working with us. Dr. Peng, if you are there, we haven't been in to see you because your receptionist doesn't accommodate us. I noticed this pattern when the receptionist was replaced. I always ask how people are doing when I interact with them. She wasn't interested. Not at all friendly, lacks personality, and doesn't try to even work with your clients. Sadly, we have had to seek treatment close to our home - we live in Georgetown and the office is in Pflugerville. We are happy to come back, but your receptionist needs to try to work with your longstanding patients. We still need you! Please help her understand that we are just trying to schedule treatments with your office.

I will now stop using this clinic because of the Nurse Practitioner at Tech Ridge location. (FYI, there's no MD in this location) I am pretty sure there aren't a lot of patients who will lie about their symptoms. Because I had congested nose for long time, this led to some complications like abnormal blood counts due to lack of oxygen (confirmed by specialist), fatigue, and hard time focusing due to lacking in daily sleep. My heart and some parts of body muscle started aching, so I told him all the area that I am aching. It looked like the NP was caring and listening. However, he walked in with Anxiety Questionnaires. The questions were definitely trap questions. One example: - Do you feel lacking in motivation and focusing at work? (I answered yes). No shit, because I feel tired everyday due to lacking of sleep caused by chronic congested nose. There were many questions like this and I answered yes to all of them. I specifically told them my chronic nose problem before answering the questions, but they said it's okay to fill those out. NP then walked in and referred me to a psychiatrist.... Next, I told him the questions were misleading and I didn't put detailed accurate answers, so I wanted the paper back. He rejected my request and scanned the paper without my consent, which is now officially up under my name. Whoever reading this, I just hope you all don't fall for this, unless you really want to fill out those questions.

A buddy suggested that I go to an IV hydration clinic instead. The obgyn nurse said an IV hydration clinic would probably be cheaper than paying ten percent at an ER. My husband found Smooth Aesthetics. Smooth Aesthetics is owned by nurse Oscar and his physician wife Dr. Leyva. Oscar was able to see me within two hours at their Round Rock location. I paid $200 for two saline bags plus Zofran. Zofran is an anti-nausea medication, which Oscar thought might help with the other end, but it didn't. Nonetheless, I didn't feel like dying from dehydration anymore, and the baby was safe. For an additional $25, Oscar will travel to your house if you're unable to get a ride. If you only need one bag of saline, it's $150. It's much cheaper than going to an ER. He also administers generic semaglutinide for $300/ month. He showed me before and after pictures of his personal weight loss of forty pounds, and he looks amazing. I would be interested in a NAD IV in the future as it's all the celebrity rage right now for anti aging.

I was presented with options and answers to all my questions. At the start, I began taking Phentermine and weekly Liposport injections. They worked wonderfully and I was seeing a loss every week. I am not a pill person so taking 10 or more pills a day and I don't care if they are supplements is unheard of. My opinion, you can lose weight without all this garbage by just cutting down your calorie intake and sugars and move more. I would not recommend this place.
